I'm an introvert and the silent round made me so mad!! Like, it would have been so much better with extroverts because they prob wouldn't have been as awkward and uncomfortable the whole time (correct me if I'm wrong though) and they wouldn't probably had a good time. sorry if i'm overreacting but that was so frustrating. I don't agree. Maya was completely at ease standing with a group of people while not saying anything. She's obviously experienced with that, and wasn't the mole. Antoine was also pretty relaxed. Alexis was my early pick for mole just based on how fidgety she was in the silence.

I got it from the silent round because she stood still all throughout. It meant she was trying to show she was comfortable not talking. It meant that she was comfortable and in control in social situations. The truth is most of us introverts are not comfortable because we’re nervous, jittery, or want to say something but don’t know what or how.

Wouldn't work cause people don't know their type according to theory but just fill 16p in with their preferences. The amount of enfp's I've seen that test intj and share that without even reading the results. Or esfj's that test as infj. It's crazy how off these test can be. Also I'm pretty sure I know a esfp and she tested istj.. So you put a room full of intj's and chances are none of them are.

This would have been so hard to participate in. I'm extremely introverted, but I tend to act really extroverted in these kinds of situations, so if I was authentically myself I'm sure I would have been voted out immediately.
The way this episode was structured also kind of followed the stereotypes of introverts. Like, the idea of having a silent round where you still have to vote someone out, that's pretty much just guess work. I will say, though, funnily enough, after the first round I was only sure that one person was an introvert, and it was the person who was voted out. The way he was just kind of staring probably thinking to himself reminded me a lot of myself.

It's more like a spectrum. I'm shy around groups of people I don't know, but around my friends I'm a party animal. I have a hard time beginning a conversation, but the moment it gets going - I can't stop.
L. Winter I saw this picture once, which on one side said Anxiety/shyness (don't remember) and the other Introvert. The picture depicted a girl standing on a stage in front of a crowd of people. On the shy/anxiety side, a speech bubble showed the girl thinking about how she was scared and uncomfortable with the situation. On the introvert side, it showed her thinking about how she was excited for this to be over so she could go home and relax alone.Something like that, at least.

As an introvert, I would definitely have spoken out at the first round, because the awkward silence and especially just staring at each other in silence is something (iykyk) introverts dread way more than talking. I'm currently at minute 1:26 and I'm pretty sure this is one of those mock episodes where everyone is the mole, and all of them are just extroverts trying to adhere to the stereotypes

As an introvert, let me just say that the first round was weird as hell.
Being an introvert doesn’t necessarily equate to shyness. It is possible for someone to prefer hanging out with themselves, but, at the same time, be assertive and have confidence in their person.
I was thinking the same thing. I have a really bubbly personality despite being introverted so i definitely would have been voted out just for the fact of not acting shy. But introversion is about needing alone time to regain energy. It doesn't mean u hate talking to people or fear it.

As an introvert, I would never spend my free time talking to a bunch of people I don’t even know. It’s so awkward and exhausting.
I've taken multiple tests, and I always come out as an introvert. However, I'm a very social person. I have quite a big circle of friends that I love to hang out with pretty much any time. It's just when I meet strangers that my introversion really shines through. If people don't take the first step to break the ice with me, they'll probably experience me as a quiet and reserved person.
Also, calling strangers on the phone is scary!!

I was right! I haven’t been sure if I am an introvert or extrovert these most recent years, but after watching this, I think I can claim my extroversion again just because of my gut feeling. I’m an extrovert who still gets shy (it’s confusing and it sucks lol) , and I could spot her almost instantly. I knew who it was after the first round and knew that it couldn’t have been the people who were voted out. An introvert can still have it in them to initiate the conversation and an extrovert can still be shy. Another reason I can say I’m still an extrovert is that waiting for someone to talk was so painful lol. But I do have introverted tendencies and I feel for y’all. I assure you, we get socially tired too.

I'm an extrovert because I recharge around people and don't do well alone for long periods of time but I am also very shy and can relate to a lot of introverted things. a lot of people who are extroverts think I'm an introvert but in a group of introverts I am definitely the extrovert.
I'm proud to myself that I spotted the mole.. because even if the girl is quiet her answers were like general and she didn't have the usual answers that is going on in an introverts head. Specially on the dealing with anxiety part.. most introverts feel anxious almost all the time so we came up with coping mechanisms like music or art or watching videos but she jud talked about having breakdown( or shutting down?)and didn't know what to do about it..

Exactly lol. I can give presentations in class no problem, I can interact with people no problem. I was a TA in a class last semester and had to teach one day because the professor had a family emergency. Didn't bother me and I actually had fun because I loved the class.
but we do tend to be way more shy than the average extrovert. Most of the people I know, who hate public speaking, are introverts.
I feel like the definition of introvert has evolved over the years, and sometimes I get confused. I identify with, if you will, the definition that describes an introvert as being a person who's shy, sometimes awkward in various social situations; like during presentations, big gatherings, etc. and keeps to themselves majority of times - moreso due to enjoying their own company.

Kharon Haden except not all introverts are silent people, or enjoy being in complete silence. i’m an introvert and cannot stand being in silence. i always have to have music playing or a video going because otherwise it feels really awkward.

This ep. was hilarious because they were all trying to shrink, when introvert doesn’t = lack of confidence. I knew the girl with the hair tie was it. It’s the way she was standing & talking 🤣🤣!!!!
I’m an Introvert and also an entrepreneur, former service engineer etc, I’m usually the most confident and teach a lot, I could keep a whole table amused at poker during my time as a professional player if I needed the table to relax etc. As people have said though, it takes me energy to do that, not that I’m acting, just that when I’m alone is when I can recalibrate. If I’m in chaos or a life crisis, I don’t want a pat on the back, or sympathy, I’ll go away on my own and balance things and come back.
The reason I could spot the extrovert was the level of appeasing they did, they appeased to a normal amount suggesting they have been around a lot of people, the others were more nervous doing it, the extrovert was happier taking a minimal response.
I‘m so annoyed with how they try to raise awareness about how introverts are constantly depicted as quiet and socially awkward, but yet reinforce those exact stereotypes with this video. I usually enjoy Jubilee’s videos but I really don’t like this episode.
Keep in mind, the say of the game is to be perceived as an introvert. It would appear that these individuals leaned in very heavily with the stereotype of shyness
most stereotypes have some bases in truth. now ur just trying to be offended, stereotypes are generalizations and simply that. People understand they don't apply to every individual
Most introverts I know, including myself, act like this when they are around people they don't know. Could be people that have an anxiety overlap, but in my experience that's how it works out. That being said, same as in the video, they get more comfortable very quickly. There's a big difference between the first segments and the last one. The initial encounter always seems extremely stereotypical in my experience
Well, I am introvert and I probably are that quiet person who is socially awkward eventho I am not with my friends. I just block as soon a strangers starts having a conversation with me.... But yea this was very stereotypical I agree, I'm still a person who has fun and likes to go out

An introvert could be the most social person ever but after some time with people they need to recharge. An extrovert gains energy by being with people so they can be with other people all the time and they have no problem with that, while an introvert would get tired after some time. AN INTROVERT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE SHY OR SOCIALLY AWKWARD. IT'S NOT CONNECTED. Social anxiety is a completely different thing its when social situations give you anxiety. Extroverts can have social anxiety too, I know many of them. Social phobia is when you have problems with your everyday life because of the stress from social interactions. Shyness is when you get embarassed when meeting new people or speaking in front of many people etc. But shy people do not feel anxious/embarassed all the time, their anxiousness fades away after they get to know these new people. Hope I cleared up come things. Correct me if I'm wrong anybody

I am an introvert - I like to spend lots of time alone with my dogs, my house is my castle and don't have hundreds of friends (just a handful but they are really close). But I lived abroad for 7 years, away from family, friends and everything that gave me comfort. This experience opened me up, made me talk to new people and learn new things. The beginning was painful but it made me grow. On a workshop the presenter told me that I am a "learnt extrovert". Which means to me that I am able to act like an extrovert in certain situations (ie. talk to new people) but inside I am still an introvert.
as an extrovert this was so accurate my whole friend group are introverts and i can tell you im always the one talking if not the only one XD btw i had no idea it was tay because she looked and sounded like a true introvert everything was spot on that i see in most introverts . she had me fooled at the end i was like yea ur like me lol

I am extremely introverted, but I love talking with people when they engage with me first. I've also had to give public presentations in front of a couple hundred people and I really enjoyed that as well. I guess it's when someone else helps give me that platform to talk, I enjoy doing it, but I rarely put myself out there and in situations where I don't know anyone, it's the absolute worst!

I’m an introverted extrovert. I can relate completely on the alone time is how I recharge. I feel the safest when I’m alone. When I’m out and about I’m extremely flirtatious by default that I’m just overly friendly. I think in college I was the life of the party but my friends had to drag me out by my ankles to get me to the party. Now I’m pretty lonely I think my extrovert side has caused me to be around a few bad apples that make me feel not as safe with my extrovert side anymore so I spend a lot of time at home.

honestly my biggest problem with being an introvert is that i have extroverted friends. i try to gain my energy back by staying at home and painting or reading, and they always invite me out when i have no idea how to say no. i mean, it’s not their fault, but they could at least give a little more consideration because my social battery works differently.
