So what I do (now does depend upon the level of the Nexia...561/761/961 series...the higher the number the better wind noise is given), go to your second NOISE program (hopefully you have that) and turn DOWN the volume. Then turn on NOISE FILTER. That should ease it a bit. If you walk and talk with someone that is the best way. Now, if you are walking by yourself and it's a massive amount of wind noise, reducing the VOLUME almost all the way down makes a difference. BUT, if you have a higher end 761/961 go to the Audiologist and ask that they create WIND NOISE or OUTSIDE program which reduces as much wind noise as possible. You can also click on the SOUND ENHANCER and adjust the settings even more. Play with them a bit to see how that helps.
On my biking helmet, I attached to the straps in front of my ears what some people call “dead cats” (Sorry, gross) or wind noise reduction mufflers. Aka wind jammers, windshield, windscreen, etc. for covering microphones.
Can you explain whit I can do do about wind noise out side ,I'm on my trial pair of Re Sound nexis. Any direction or ideas ?
