Very helpful. Mine from in utero rubella is severe to profound both ears… 75-90. Hoping to get CI in my worse ear as hearing aids do nothing for it at all, no word discrimination. Had to reschedule appointments because of transportation. Hopefully I don’t have to wait another month.

Iam waiting to see ENT I have hearing aids but they are no longer the right ones for me in a resent hearing test I got 80 in each ear they told me my hearing has got worse I was 50 in right and 40 in left
The audiologist said I have server hearing lost
Really need to know more before I know why.

on a ct scan it showed its congenital i have an ent appointment in February which I am hoping they can help at the moment I cant wear my hearing aids because of bilateral ear canal infection going on for three weeks right canal is swollen shut which is making it even harder to hear i am on gentamicin drops I am in the uk my GP is going to contact them if these don't work they have done a swob of my ears thank you for trying to help
@@hazelannhtd4lifer852 Gent is a powerful antibiotic so I am not sure why that one. It should fix it...could also be an allergic reaction.
