- Today we are fishing a couple of different bodies of water. First we are checking out a small lake that I've never fished before to see what is living in it. It's an amazing looking spot that I think is hiding a monster! Second, we are jumping across the street to check out an underwater pipe spilling into the river where we will be targeting some trout! Just wanted to check and make sure that y’all made it through the storm Praying for everyone that was affected.
Cole where I used to live I would find myself dragging my boat from one lake to another and I passed this little pothole lake, maybe 16 acres. I decided to stop one day and put my tube out. It was an amazing stop. Brook trout and Rainbows from 12" to five pounds, so you never know.
Cole Leeches are the number one fish food choice for all fish. Use a Woolly bugger on your fly rod, you will have no problem.
Perfect place to fish. If they don't bite you can go over and fire a few hundred rounds to work off the frustration. If they do bite you can go fire off a few hundred rounds to relax. LOL! Stay safe from the weather.
Deep water Kentucky's are delicious if you ever find em' deep on some of these mountain reservoir's!

I live in North Eastern California and I have never seen so much snow!! Some areas where I live have seventy feet of snow. My power was out for nine days and I was freezing cold!!

On the DEEP FRYER BOILING OVER: I have the same fryer and have noticed that the higher amount of moisture in whatever I am deep fat frying tends to make the fat froth up and try to go over the edge of the container. By simply lifting the fryer basket out of the hot grease several times until the water content has reduced it stops the overflow and I can continue to fry whatever I’m cooking. I have helped stop this by drying anything I plan to place in the deep fat fryer really well before breading and frying. Hope this helps!😊

Really like your content. I grew up in the area of NLR and Conway. I lived in Branson for 6 years and caught more Rainbow Trout than you can shake a stick at. I used a slightly different setup; a fair sized bell sinker on the very end of the line then about 12-20 inches up the line I would put a 6-8 inch leader with a 16 or 18 treble hook with either salmon eggs, corn, or velveeta cheese on the hook no bobber and let it settle to the bottom with the leader floating in the current. I caught my limit in less than an hour right next to folks that had been there all day and caught only one fish.

I kept a limit of trout haha these fish are probably all going to be dead in a month because of the rising water temp.
Not too many fish according to the fishing laws of his state ! The regular harvest of various fish species keeps the populations under control and also healthy ! Most people who go fishing are catch and release only, so those who catch and cook are not going to damage fish populations ! They are actually performing a valuable service ! 🙂
