I got the colorist of this book, Peter Steigerwald, to sign this at a recent convention. It's not the strongest book I've read, but very entertaining nonetheless. Also I have a soft spot for the epicness of Michael Turner

Jeph Loeb's writing style is FUN. Plain and simple. I wish more writers would do the same. I think u guys over analyze a bit here. But hey, I know that's what friends do when they sit around cutting up a subject. lol

For those who don't know, this story ended up spinning off one of the worst Sueprgirl runs of all time, in which Kara was drawn with the proportions of a piece of string, and she acted more evil than the villains she fought. Also she dated Captain Boomerang Jr. Twas pretty bad.
You guys should do Berlanti and Greene's run on B/S I believe it's in the late thirties I'm not a 100% I'd have to dig out the single issues I never got the TPB but there's probably one of my all time favorite BATMAN moments in it. And the writing; Berlanti pre-flash tv show and Greene who will have writing credits on ALIEN COVENANT and BLADE RUNNER 2049, are each stellar. Granted they unfortunately did movie GREEN LANTERN around that time but their B/S arc is one of the best of the series you guys need to do a back issues on THAT!

I'm a fan of Michael Truners stly, although looking back on it I will admit its abit troublesome and kind of uniform in faces. I do like karas look here than when Churchill drew her in her own book. Thongs everywhere.
The faces kill it for me. I can look past absurd proportions and even Escher Girls poses, to a point, but I got to have good facial distinctions and expressions. Turner stunk at that.

Idea for a new show: "Comic Trivia Showdown!" (Or a more original name). It's like the Collider show (Movie Trivia Schmoedown) but with comic book trivia. There's a large enough comic book community that you could get a good league going, but it would probably have to be over Skype. Just a thought.
