Hey Shannon. I just wanted to pass along my gratitude to you for keeping up videos in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am located quite near you (about 30 mins away) and it’s nice to follow someone who is in the same country, province, and even radius during this time. These circumstances have caused a lot of stress and anxiety for all of us and i think i speak for everyone when i say, you are a bright spot in our day. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it.

I was sure the Flyers Winter Classic of 2012 would’ve made the cut. That darker orange with the keystone “C” and “A” just made it a keeper.

I actually loved your history of the NHL series. Was a good break from school work or at home for me.
I got the St. Pats sweater with Marner stitched on it. The felt they used is fantastic. As is the stitching. Much better job than the stock stitched.
Cool hockey had 40% off Hawks sweaters at one time. I got a Toews during that sale. They should do that more often!

It really means a lot to us, like your videos are such a stable part of our days. Every night before going to sleep, i watch one or two of your videos and it's always so entertaining and so comforting and i dunno. Watching you doing sth that makes you so happy, sth that you are so passionate about is just the very secret of this whole channel and it's just effing awesome. Also, I followed you from the very beginnings of this channel, and really, seeing the changes in your life... is very inspiring. Lastly, Yvonne and you seem to have such a genuine, caring and unique relationship with each other, whenever she's in front of the camera, it's so obvious that you are such a perfect match for each other. @@camroberts92 I think you are coming from a place of bias. Also, if you have watched Shannon's other jersey countdowns, he has placed many Kings jerseys at the top. Right now I feel our jerseys are average, but in the grander scheme are seen as one of the better all time.
I know Shannon likes them, I definitely get what you meant originally. As far as bias goes, I only meant that from a design standpoint, not from just hating the Kings. Yes I do hate them but that's not why I dont like their jerseys. Tbh if they had nice jerseys I'd hate them a bit less. For example I hate the Sharks almost as much but I have no problem admitting their jerseys are awesome. I even own one. I would also buy a Kings Chevy era or old purple/gold jersey because they were nice.
That being said, anything they've done since those god awful ones with the Los Angeles across the belly have been some of the worst imo. There's been a few decent elements here and there, like using the crown as a main logo before ruining things with the home plate, the current grey third have a nice design (except for the logo), bringing back purple for a while, etc. But they haven't had a single jersey that hasnt had something really ugly hindering it. Just my opinion. And if they were to stop using the colors they ripped off from the Raiders and go back to their roots and bring back a crown I'd probably buy a jersey just out of support for that.
I'm also totally aware of the general dislike of our current logo and jerseys, which means I'm calling the kettle black here. I'm part of that crowd that wishes we would bring back our old look. Just imagine how awesome So Cal hockey would look having the Mighty Ducks logo/colors against proper regal looking Kings logo/ colors. It would be glorious.
@@camroberts92 I dislike the idea that if one team uses a color scheme, its stolen. At the end of the day, one can argue that nearly every team has "stolen" each others colors. They had already used black, silver, and white beforehand with the 90s, which returned as an alternate turned primary. I feel ours aren't hideous (really none in the NHL are at the moment in my opinion), but I can agree the current homeplate logo jerseys are far from the best we've shown.
Also, I am confused by what you are referring to with Los Angeles being across the belly. Are you referring to the jerseys from the 2000s? If so, that is usually considered as one of their best looks (myself included). It may not show on camera, but I think the shine of it looks pretty nice in person.
Overall, I feel that jerseys right now in SoCal are in a mediocre state, with nothing completely atrocious. I do want the old purple and gold scheme back, but see little issue with the currently color scheme. Who knows, the Kings are due for a change in the next year or two (it helps that our young core is starting to develop at the NHL level) and the Ducks shouldn't be too far behind.
Well they should come out with crown Kings jerseys then.
The playoff series views are low right now because your still in the 80s. A lot of people weren’t even born then so they don’t click on it. I think once you get into recent playoff series you’ll see the views go up. It’s a gretat series!

Flash Majora This year’s 50th anniversary white jerseys with the blue and gold trim are beautiful
A couple of my own "honorable mentions"..."Back in the day", before anyone fathomed a team called the Vegas Golden Knights, and even before the Las Vegas Wranglers, we had the Las Vegas Thunder, and their jersey design for their final season (1998-99) was awesome. Black, Teal, and Silver, with the front featuring an aggressive cartoon image of the team's polar bear mascot clutching a hockey stick in one paw and a lightning bolt in the other.
And still one of my favorites is my MadBros Steve Hanson Road Blue and Yellow Charlestown Chiefs jersey (foil not included).

My CCM jerseys from late 80's early 90's seem much more durable then any produced afterwards by Rebok and Addis.

You are right about not putting your jerseys in the dryer. My friend is the assistant manager for the equipment of the Montreal Canadiens and he told me the same thing.

I love this video, i wish since your not doing a top 300 this year that you would have ranked all the Adidas instead of top 20. Between home, road, thirds and outdoor jerseys I'm sure it's close to 100.
I have some ideas for some videos that I’d like to see you do. You mentioned that some teams would benefit more than others by the season suspension. Please do a video where you go over the consequences positive and negative of this stand down for each team. First from the standpoint of the rest of the regular season being called off, or only lasting a few more games to balance the schedule out; but, where the playoffs are still played in their normal manner. Second, look at each team from the perspective of a modified playoff format, if some idea of a modified format is available. Third, look at the on-ice team consequences if it all just ends here until next season. Which teams are in relatively good shape as far as knowing what they have to do, or not do, to be a contender next year. Which teams will have the most dilemmas, or big open questions if the season suddenly ended? A fourth one would be to go over the players who are the most affected adversely, or positively if you can think of some, by the season being ended without a playoffs.

Im looking to get some jerseys, just the sizes I am unsure of. I wear Double XL long sleeve shirts or sweaters. They are sized different depending on who makes it. Do fanatics make a good jersey's and are numbers and logos sewn on?
The Wild have to have the Bear Head Crest prominently displayed. I didn't like the red or green from years back when it was either tiny, or Minnesota was splayed across the front instead.

I’m having trouble juggling my jersey collection, and I’ve only got 3. Well, I’ve actually got 7. But 1 is a player’s game worn, 1 is my ex’s, and 1 has all the old Sharks players autographs on it. I’ve got 3 current player jerseys in the rotation, & find it hard fitting my 3rd one in.

So I've a question, My girlfriend picked up a 98 Nashville Predators Jersey from America and brought it home to Scotland, The Stitching is absolutely immaculate inside and out however there's no Fight Strap, Does this comfirm that it is in fact fake or were there a line without the tie down?

I wish the Whalers could go back to Hartford (with whales on the shoulders). I mean they tried hockey in Atlanta twice. Yes , i know i'm dreaming. Dallas got it right and i agree with you about the Islanders changing the blue on home jerseys. I also agree with the cannon jersey.
You should do a series showing off and describing the jerseys you own by team and each team could get their own video. I think that would be really cool to see
I LOVE the Canes black alternate. I do like the new red because they went back to the checkerboard again ( the last Reebok one with the plain white stripes was just that, too plain). Not a fan of the new white, but its not bad...just not great... not sure how I feel about the word mark option.
I like the current Boston Bruins black jersey; the Minnesota wild Adidas home jersey is one of my favorite jerseys.
You should do your favorite jersey from each NHL team, including the order ones. Also, what's your thought on if the NHL should go to a system where they'd eliminate "home" and "away" jerseys in favor of allowing teams to wear whatever they wanted, as long as the jerseys don't match? I think it would be a great marketing tool, as well as a way to let fans from other markets see their favorite team wear something that they might like more than a white jersey.
The Maple Leafs jersey is slick.
Love the Wild Jersey, I think the stripe adds a lot and their colors and logo are always so good.
I think the Sharks Jersey is super dope. Looks sick AF. Texture on the striping is awesome.

Ducks is ok, def one do the better jerseys they’ve had.
Not a fan of the Coyotes. I think their howing coyote logo is perfection. I dig the older logo too, like in this jersey but would prefer a more simplified orange, white, black color scheme.
I think the Sabers jersey is amazing. My fav jersey they’ve ever done by far. Gold looks so good, especially with the texturing.

As a Blues fan I simply can't abide nor cotton to the Chicago jerseys. I encourage all Black Hawks jersey owners to dry their jerseys in the dryer, repeatedly, on high heat.
