sa230e Thats not Soccer... in every big European soccer league you can only have 2 sponsors for your jersey: one on the front and one on the shoulder... the only soccer league you can have multiple advertisements on your Jersey is Austria (and they dont really matter)... the jerseys plastered with Ads are actually mostly hockey jerseys... because hockey isnt that popular teams depend on sponsorship money, thats why the jerseys are full of them... And really: I rather enjoy watching Live-hockey with Ads on the Jerseys than only being able to watch hockey on TV...

2. I consider Ligue Un and La Liga to be big European soccer leagues, and they have several big clubs with more than 2 kit sponsors e.g. Barcelona, PSG, OL.

On its own the Wings jersey looks a little bland but on the ice with the pants and socks it looks really nice.
I really like the Wild jersey. The colours are excellent and the logo is very unique. Took me a long time to realize the logo is actually a wild animal.

The chain stitching on the Blackhawks jersey really is incredible, if you don't have one I would really recommend picking one up for any jersey collector. You can get the outdated collar designs for relatively cheap.
The current Oilers home jersey is a travesty. We had the perfect 3 uniform set in 2016-17.
It's a shame to see how much their uniforms have gone downhill. Their royal blue jerseys are gorgeous.

While I like the Jets jersey enough, both the Heritage jersey and their baby blue Alternates are BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE the baby blue so much, and I'm usually not a fan of wordmarks either, but I think the cursive Jets just looks so clean. Definitely in my top 5 jerseys of all time.
Nobody talking about the embroidery on the black part of the logo for Vegas jerseys? That just makes the Vegas ones a lot more extra
The red strip on the Golden Knights was done to honor the iconic Red Rock mountains in the valley. I agree, color scheme wise you could take it out, but I love the nod to the valley's iconic mountain preserve.
My SO, who doesn't follow hockey, was watching the Minnesota/Vancouver play-in round with me and remarked on how good the forest green and cream looked. The Wild really have a special jersey.
Both styles of the 50 patches for the Canucks are now on Vanbase for 25$
Winnipeg jersey ranks #1, I love the white too. Minnesota is great but should bring back the retro red one with circular logo. Colorado is great, Carolina third is on fire. You should do an all time jersey video as lots of Reebok and CCM were amazing. Philadelphia, Tampa bay, Detroit are boring

This video makes me want to buy even MORE jerseys!!! Must admit, some of these just need a few waist stripes to make them look SO much better (and yes shannon Columbus definitely need to swap the Cannon logo and make that their primary logo front and center on their jerseys).
For the red in the VGK Jersey..IIRC Foley said that it represents the red skyline for Vegas and Red Rock Canyon.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the subtle Sagebrush (Nevada state flower) in the design of the gold on the sleeve as well as around the black on the shield.
There’s a good video on CZcams about how they made the design and colors. They put a lot of thought into it.
The Vegas 3rd was suppose to come out last year, even Seattle is like ''will release the jersey already''.

Cream or beige are under utilized colors and would look great as an accent in place of white or used as the primary color for Away jerseys
I will admit very openly I was never a fan of the Coyotes logo and for me it was always a headscratcher to go from something that at least had the semblance of a unique identity, to something so literal and representative.. UNTIL they retired Shane Doan's number. To see that logo in the rafters, calling for its brethren, howling away for all time, now it makes sense. (I just don't think the designers had any clue about that when they made it.)

I think the original Tampa Bay jerseys were awesome, also the Capitals Capital building jersey was awesome, but I do wish the Caps went to their original jerseys full time

Personally for me maybe stars could alter the green a bit to make it tad darker but that's about it. Oh and RW jersey for me needs bit more white highlighting. Edih oh that wilds jersey looked blue on your cam.... like dark blue not even a hint of green.
I completely agree Shannon the old home (now alternate) coyotes jerseys is so underrated. I wish they sold it in a prime green. Can’t find it anywhere. Not even their team store hahaha

One of the coolest things I think about the devils jersey is the 3 championship years are sewn into the inside of the color

I’m convinced that Vegas wearing grey and not black was a way to continue taking elements from Army uniforms (the cadets’ dress uniforms are grey) without getting sued a second time by the US Military Academy for taking their sports teams’ (who are called the Black Knights) color scheme

A few things.
I think the Jets should absolutely go to the Heritage style Jets jerseys. The blue and white ones are fantastic!
The Flames should also go back to their heritage style jerseys as their main home and away, and they also look fantastic!
Day glow orange just happens to be my favourite colour, so I really don't mind the Flyers or Oilers jerseys at all. Although, I personally think the Oilers should not have went to Navy blue, and stuck with Royal Blue.
Nashville should seriously ditch the mustard yellow, but I highly doubt they'll do that anytime soon.
Wild home jersey being green totally suits them!
LA should have stuck with Royal Purple and Black, and I agree with you on that.
Everyone else, I'd say leave it, other than Buffalo and Carolina. They totally need a jersey redesign.
Shannon, Vanbase (Canucks team store at Rogers Arena) is currently selling official 50th anniversary patches by themselves for $25 a pop. If you want the real deal to iron on to a Canucks jersey, that's the option.
That Columbus jersey is so sharp. Beautiful colors. I’m ok with the cannon on the shoulders because that current crest is excellent.
27:12 Red stripe is red piping. It also signifies the design in the shoulder pads with the 2 swords clashing against one another. But they will not have red as their main color
And it represents red rock canyon of course.

LA had a warm-up jersey earlier this season that was beautiful it was like dark lavender with a lion in the top corner simple but gorgeous

The Red tertiary color in the vegas Jersey represents the vegas strip and night life I believe, can also be associated with the red sashes worn on West Point graduating cadets. I mean; the whole Golden Knights franchise is based off of the army West Point black knights

Blackhawks jerseys are cheap on ebay right now with the full collar, which I don't mind at all, so heck yeah - I didn't understand what people were talking about with the stitching until I got it.
At first I didn't like the Wild Jersey it took a season but it grew on me, I miss the old third alternate they had with Reebok. Would take it over any jersey they've had in their history as the wild. The white one is nice I own that also but fear getting it stained 😩

As a Long Islander, I love the Islanders' logo. Just a great traditional logo that says everything it needs to. Hockey, LI, NY.
love the current orange on Flyers Home & Road Jerseys the only problem with Lindros era Jerseys. sometimes the different Camera angles would make the orange look like a different color on the ice .Lindros era Jerseys still my favorite Flyers Jersey design.
There is reason why so many teams copy the Rangers letter scheme, also the the Jets logo with the Jet on the red maple leaf is terrific, just needs to be bigger.
calgary should keep these colors but change to the 80’s striping. the horizontal ones on the body had a really cool element with them having a diagonal angle come up and out of the horizontal and it just looked bad ass.
Colorado honestly has a very sweater, lot more simple than their previous ones but it’s so nice. Probably one of the most underrated sweaters in the NHL and that’s coming from a Bruins fan
As a Blues fan, I almost entirely agree with your take on "don't ever touch it" with one exception: they need to go back to gold numbers at home instead of white.
Everything about the rangers jersey is iconic and amazing except that damn red pentagon looking piece in front. If that was blue as well it’d look so much cleaner.

Figure I may as well share my thoughts on team home (dark) jerseys
Anaheim: Always preferred the Mighty Ducks logo and the original colour of purple and green, never a fan of the stripes though, the current logo I just find boring, just a duck foot and it looks like a D for Ducks, kind of boring, I really liked the 2018-2019 alternate for the anniversary they wore, with the black instead of purple, if they wanted to bring back the Mighty Ducks without the purple, rather not see the orange Mighty Duck jersey, kind of tired of bright orange jerseys, if less teams wore it I'd be more open to it
Arizona: Same here, just prefer the old original logo, the yawning Coyote just doesn't interest me, only thing I wish they added to the original logo was the other half of the coyote's mask, I would be interested in seeing if it was possible to put the old logo on a colour similar to, if not the same as, their current colour since I quite like that red
Boston: I love this jersey as much as I hate this team, and I'm a Toronto/Vancouver fan, like you said, encompasses aspects from all the greats and just looks super sharp and great, and even when they throwback and old jersey that's great, like this year, it just shows their current home is just fantastic
Buffalo: The number on the front bugs me a lot, I'd be more open to it if all teams had it on the front but I still don't like the idea of anyone having numbers on the front, seeing the old colours will be nice, and keep the logo but I want the Goat Head back as an alternate
Calgary: They need to get back to the old jerseys as soon as possible, the only addition I would make to the originals would be the flag of Alberta on the shoulder, always really liked that on their current ones and I hope they keep it, though I would like to see a picture of it first in case it's not as good as I picture in my head
Carolina: The alternate works much better I find, the current home is okay for me, wouldn't call it good or bad, if they do redesign the home, I just hope they don't ruin the away jersey, I hate the "Canes" jersey
Chicago: Same as Boston, just perfect, only try different versions of the home jersey as alternates, except maybe the odd season here and there and make the black version the home with the red the alternate jersey for that year, those 3 colours of red, black and white for Chicago are just beautiful
Colorado: Fantastic jersey, I'll admit I prefer the revised Rockies throwback more but I realize most people prefer their current home, just would love to see the newer Rockies logo on a away jersey
Columbus: Cannon definitely needs to be the main, such a big part of the team and fans and they seem to especially love it as well, I do like the flag of Ohio wrapping around the start but it is kind of generic and simple
Dallas: I like the stripes and colour, not a fan of the logo, but I'm not a fan of any of their logos
Detroit: Great logo, nice colours, but it's kind of like the opposite of my thoughts on Dallas, just seems like the jersey is empty and nothing there, while teams like Boston, Chicago and New York (Rangers), have the stripes and have changed things on the jersey, Detroit seems happy just keeping these almost lifeless jerseys, except for the great logo
Edmonton: Burn the crap out of their jerseys and return 2015--2016 jerseys, the lighter blue was great, the orange is nice as an alternate but needs to be a little more toned down for the eyes
Florida: Original jerseys were definitely the best, I did really like the navy blue they had too, if I had to pick between the blue or red I think I would lean towards the red but the blue is really good too, overall just not been a fan of their redesign
Los Angeles: The late 90s to early 10s jerseys were the best, would love to see the coat of arms logo come back and have the crown as an alternate, just hate their baseball base logos with the giant LA and generic black everywhere with a few white stripes
Minnesota: I actually really like the M on the shoulders, I find it a nice logo and it works well with their AHL team, I would only change the little red that surrounds the NHL logo to green with the rest of the jersey
Montreal: Change the red around the NHL logo to white, keep it, perfect basically
Nashville: Burn the jersey, keep the logo, make blue the dominant colour, gets some of the marigold in as a secondary colour, just make a new jersey, not a fan of any of their jerseys
New Jersey: Bring the red and green back as full time, make the black the alternate, honestly it works better to me and I always found it funny seeing red and green together while having the team called the Devils
New York (Islanders): I actually really like their current jersey, agreed the logo could be better but until I see a better design I think it ought to stay
New York (Rangers): For me, wordmark jerseys work, but they never should be the primary, my favourite jersey they made would probably be the 2012 Winter Classic jersey, I love the colours and the logo, I think it's a better shield logo then the one from the 70s, just take that and combine it with the dark blue from the 2018 Winter Classic,, it's always bugged me to see the Rangers have a logo but never really use it, Lady Liberty works better as an alternate for me, maybe have it be the home jersey every once in a while
Ottawa: I think the original logo is the best, and I would make the O the alternate, but wear it frequently because it also looks really good, can't really say much since we know they are changing so we have to wait and see what they do
Philadelphia: Literally just make the orange darker
Pittsburgh: Fantastic jersey, don't change it
St. Louis: One of those times I wish a team could have 2 homes, I love the current and the original colours, I just can't choose between the 2
San Jose: Sharks logo has always been great, Sharks jerseys have always been boring, that's my view
Tampa Bay: Stop stealing my team's colours and get your own, seriously, what was wrong with the black that made you want to steal the Leafs colours
Toronto: I can't pick which version of the Leaf I love best, stuck between the mid 60s leaf, the late 60s leaf, the current leaf and the 20s-30s leaf, I do think the 20s-30s leaf does work better only as Winter Classic though, I'd love to see the Leafs bring either of the 60s leaves I mentioned as an alternate, and flip between the 2 every couple of years, regarding the jersey itself, wish Toronto used more white on the home and more blue on the away
Vancouver: The 80s jersey with marigold and orange will forever be my favourite, the fact that even Vancouver seems to have forgotten about the Skate jersey before the one from the 90s makes me sad we'll probably never see it again, not to say the 90s suck, but the 80s colour was much better in my opinion, wish they went Skate full time, I don't even care about its nicknames but it's a great logo
Las Vegas: Great jersey, I have always found the red stripe weird but never really bothered me much, looking forward to their future designs, just hoping they don't go over the top
Washington: It's okay I guess, I did like the dark blue from the 2018 Winter Classic, would love to see the eagle on a jersey as the main, I get it's their original logo but just "Capitals" is boring, I'd keep it as an alternate and occasional throwback, but they really need a new home
Winnipeg: Take the beautiful jersey from this year's Winter Classic and make that the home while the 2016 Winter Classic becomes the away, I would love to see the Jets logo from the 90s become their alternate in the future
The Caps are my favorite team and I agree with you on the 'W'eagle, it should be dead and center on the jersey. I would add the 3 stars above it though to add a little more detail. The "Capitals" logo I like a lot, but I know most people don't like wordmarks as prime logos, but I also agree with you that it should be changed to the alt logo. Sort of off topic but Ive always felt there was so much potential to use all 3 prime, sec, and alt logos on the entire uniform. Like the Caps can use the Weagle on the front of the jersey, create an entirely original secondary logo as the shoulder patch, and use the Capitals wordmark on the helmet.
WSH Caps What the Caps should do is bring back the blue, black and gold eagle and replace those colors with the current colors. It will definitely become my favorite logo of all!
It's probably been said but the red in the Vegas jersey represents red rock canyon which is a famous national park just outside of Las Vegas (although most of the rocks in Red Rock look more of an orange color but I digress)

Ditto on the cannon, my current goalie pads are white, navy and baby blue, so I have a blue penguins jersey that goes with them I can't find a goalie cut cannon jersey that isnt an arm and a leg.

The original Purple Mighty Ducks jersey was the greatest jersey of all time and I am not a ducks fan at all. We need more purple, teal, and non-primary colors in the league. If I can get it new, I would in a heartbeat.
Hey I’ve been watching your videos for a bit now and I was just wondering as to why you don’t like the Islanders Logo? I am an Islanders fan myself and therefore see the bias, however, I do still think it’s one of the best logos out there. The “I” points to the coliseum, the rings represent the Stanley cups, and they even included along Island. I love the logo and think it’s one of the most detailed logos out there but just curious as to what others think
Tampa's Black Third is so hard to read in the arena. I took me a while to get used to it when I watch them on TV.

I have a JT MILLER Rangers jersey but its an authentic Reebok the last year Reebok made jerseys and added the 90th Anny Rangers patch and the 100th Anny NHL patch.
The new MN jerseys are the best since their "Christmas" Jerseys. I will throw hands over that old red alternate jersey being the best Wild Jersey.

The only thing drastically different I could see Detroit do is to have the shoulders white or potentially black and have the script "D" in either red or white on the shoulders as a secondary logo. The away would be opposite of course. Maybe different striping. As much as I love the current jersey I wouldnt poo poo that change.
I would love to see Carolina go back to what they wore in 2006. Like modernize it of course. But what they have had for their home jerseys since 2013 has been not good but not awful. When I go to a game in PNC, I see a lot of those "vintage" 06 jerseys, and a lot of the new Blacks. So hopefully Dundon takes notes of that, since its been the required 3 years before you change a jersey.

I’m a big ‘traditional look’ guy, I like arm bands and tail stripes (STL’s current Home/Away would more then drive home my case and point) I think certain uniform/design templates just don’t look complete enough without those two elements...just a taste preference and or selling point for me personally! 👍🏻
A year late, but as a habs fan, the Red Wings logo and jersey are a masterpiece. Otherwise I totally agree that most of the jerseys are pretty sharp, except the Avs'...

If the red wings did have a black alt it should be with red outlines and inside either charcoal or a gray tire tracks or wing pattern

Was a point of differentiation for some jerseys during redesign in 2007. Sharks and Sabres had it on the front.
So the story behind the Oilers Orange (having been apart of the tests and know how it all went down) it was hatched by an executive and the idea sold to the brass. They did three versions of the jersey - (2016) orange, the current orange and blue. But they went with that orange. It’s all the brain child of a particular exec making “his” stamp on the org. Staff/players/fans hate it.
