@@jumpguyty I think every football fan will agree that Ronaldo has the best work ethic of all football players. He always is training hours before the official training begins and stop hours after the official training ends. One of his teammates told in an interview that he went training after a match while it was midnight. No one would even think about that. Ronaldo lives for the sport, he gives everything for it. That makes him the best footballer ever for me.

1- Yes, he is well known for his ridiculously powerful kicks. The man is a free kick machine.
2- The most impressive thing for me about him is his work ethic. There isn't a single football player more dedicated than him. There's multiple account of his teammates telling he is the first to get to practice and the last to leave. Many times he was on the pitch over an hour before practice time, and at the end he would stay longer and train his kicks. Mad respect for that

I don’t know if someone said this already but when you see the goal at around 3:00 . You see that he chipped the ball into the net, the next part you see him throw his captains armband to the floor. That’s because the goal was not counted because the player that headed the ball, I think he was name was Nani, was offside and because he touched the ball while offside they said that it didn’t count. What makes it worse is if you look at it, he did not need to head the ball at all because it was already going in and it portrays him as selfish because he wanted to get the goal even though Ronaldo had it and basically he just turned a guaranteed goal for Ronaldo to an offside blunder for the Portuguese football team. Btw personally I don’t like to think Nani was selfish but that he was sooooo focused on scoring that he became blinded and couldn’t realize that he didn’t need to do anything.

3:38...the flip flap then through the legs....difficulty rating...out of 10....9/9.5......that's tough.
    What he does:
He moves the ball to the right with the outside of his right foot, then whilst the ball is moving still he moves his foot around the ball so it hits the inside of his right foot and goes through the defenders legs.
Ronaldinho and Luis Ronaldo (R9 Brazillian striker , retired a few years ago) both were great at this move.
The ball movement phase is called a flip flap (the 2 touches on the inside and outside of the right foot) through the legs is a Nutmeg.
So technically its a "Flip flap to Nutmeg" if it was given names or whatever
I can actually do that move...but nowhere near as clean as that, and I don't do it well enough to feel sure it will work every time, when I pull it out its more of a wild card gamble, might work might not
The way he does it though, so smooth all along the floor, wonderfully timed leg movement and weight of touch, He is a Master, he knows its working, he has the sequence dialled in!!!
(*I also use another variant where you almost tread down on the ball, creating enough spin it starts to roll up your foot, and it pops up then you move the ball quickly whilst still in contact, The ball goes to the side or over the defender, I find that variant a lot easier for me personally, in terms of executing the sequence/skills, so I use it far more than the classic one, I wish I could do the classic one better, as I feel its more universal for situations, If I could master this one, I could use it a lot more than the one I use),

In the summer before his record transfer to Real Madrid (or it could be the summer after, not really sure) Cristiano actually cancelled his summer vacations and went to the US to train with the Olympic 100 meters sprinting team. In case this doesn’t seem insane to some, he was already one of the fastest players of all time and he sacrificed a month of his rest (so basically all of it) to go run track and field in a different country. He left as an incredibly gifted athlete and came back as a machine. He never looked back since.

If you are interested in Ronaldo's physical and mental abilities as an athlete look up "Ronaldo Tested to the Limit" film released in 2011 (it's a bit long and a tad bit old but still great insight). They test him on a couple of his abilities, including jumping and kicking strength.

The reason CR7 is the goat, in my opinion, is because he is pretty much an absolute beast in every position or skill that exists for a football player (maybe not goalie lol). He can dribble, he can free kick, he can sprint (and probably is the fastest around), his air game is probably one of the best there is, he can defend, he can play on any side of the field (and mid too), he does mad assists, he's one of the most (if not the most) dangerous finishers out there, he can shoot almost as good with his left leg as with his right... there's no position in a football field where this guy would be just "average" at it.
I mean, I have massive respect for all the other greatest players out there (Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Zlatan, and so on, and so forth)... but those guys are just great at some parts of the game (maybe even better than CR7... but not by far)... and like I said... what makes CR7 the true GOAT king, is his ability to be crazy good on pretty much any position.

That dribble is named Flip flop or Elastico.
It took me 1 year of constant practise to learn it, and another 5 years to really get it down.
Very difficult. Most players never use it in a match since it is very risky. Either it works or you loose the ball. No inbetween.
First done by Pele back in the 70's.
    Then Maradona.
Then the Brasilians in the 90's Ronaldo, Rivaldo ,etc.

2:00 If you were familiar with soccer, you'd understand this is one of the greatest moments in soccer history. Buffon is the Juventus goalkeeper, he won everything but the champions league, which is Europe's biggest football (soccer) club title. He is a legend considered by many one of the greatest goalkeepers ever. He was 40 years old when that happened, 1/4 finals of the champions league.... Ronaldo does that, everyone applauds... everyone meaning even the fans of Juventus. This is beautiful yeah, perfectly executed overhead kick, but the real beauty is not there. It's the sheer significance of it.

C.Ronaldo truly is a beast. He was known FIRST as fast and skillfull, and scored goals occasionally. THEN he transitioned to PURE goal scoring. But the thing is how he does it. He’s not a striker actually, started as cam I think(?) . He scores anyhow anyway and his mai quality is that he hardly misses GOALS. He will almost always put it behind the new any way, extremely hard worker aswell, he’s like bigger/buffer than Conor mcgregor... beSt body he worked on. He used to be skinny guy

I remember, back in Highschool, there was a guy who was on a competitive Football team, so he was the best player in gym class.
But, one time, when we were having a 'match', he was doing fancy footwork with the ball, so i gave up and back up to try and block the ball if he were to kick it, and... he did. I reacted by stepping my leg out and the ball connected with my thigh at full force and i remember FEELING the ball slam into my skin HARD, but that area immediently kinda.... went dead? He dances off to go get the ball, and i begin to follow, still not feeling anything in that area. And then literally, a couple seconds later, it felt like all sensation in my leg came rushing back online and my leg gave out from under me because the PAIN hit all at once, and it honest to god felt like someone had shot my thigh. The area was all swollen and turning purple and already starting to bruise horribly, and i couldn't move my thigh for a good thirty minutes after the game.
Weirdest injury i ever got while playing sports, but needless to say, after that day, if that guy kicked a ball in my general direction, i got the hell out of way instead of trying to stop it. XD Football player's legs are something to be feared, mad respect for them.
