Yes, get more of that rig of a triton
I gotta say TJ that's the best subliminal advertising I've seen on a CZcams channel, so much better than having products pushed in your face or well and truly over advertised. Its not even slightly annoying the way you do those kmc pop ups🤘
Thanks mate , I know what ya mean !
That triton is insane! Sure, there isn't much of it left, but seeing something different from the usual Nissan's and Toyota's is a fresh change. Would love to see more of it ❤
I agree it was a pleasure to watch!
I hate tritons but damn I’d own that
Big fan of shawrys jeep, very impressive driving. 👍
And it's 45 minutes long 😍 cheers Tj and maccas
No drama my dude ! 😎
Yikes 😮 man this is nuts looking at this scenery...tbh I don't know if I could afford to potentially break this amount of kit 😂. My old n70 needs to be babied everywhere now it's 350,000kms old (head, injectors & gizzards replaced at 250,000!). These rigs are insane! Thanks to all of you 👍✌️🙏
Thanks Paul ! Yeah pretty wild day on the tracks 😅
More shawry episodes surely!!
Definitely! Keen to get down to tracks his way this year!
@@macpreston6 stage in the cruiser 😅
@@tom_marninghahaha I’m not sure I could disrespect my panels that much 😂 but maybe lol
@@macpreston haha you’ve got sliders you’ll be right. in all honesty tho you’d do it, winch v rock which 95% of the cars that drive 6 have to winch there
Honestly I'm kind of board with the 79 land cruisers in general as a serious off roader, we all know they have their good points but I will say, macca you got a nicely built rig and honestly drives way better and more stable than most. The typical landcruiser is generally a 3 wheeler with the 4th in the air. Yours however is way more balanced and grounded. Nice driving. 👍😀
Thanks mate! Haha yeh they normally enjoy flying high 😂 I’ve put a fair bit of work into making the front work well aswell as adding the rear sway bar back into the mix made a world of difference!
Definitely, also love the fact you moved the front axle forward works wonders with holding down the front end as well as great approach angles. 👍
Farm truck house deposit Hahahha mint 👌
Got the job done 😅
That Jeep is mint 😊 i thought i would never say that 😢
The old rubicons are mental 🤩
Its great to see that regardless of what you build/drive on paper, its not until you climb a wall do you truly appreciate the time and effort put in.
I know right !
Definitely! Awesome to see all the hard work do it’s thing!
Epic driving all-round lads. That Triton is an absolute beast offroad!!
Gday, that took some balls on those angles, the Hilux did a bloody top job really and the cruiser doesn’t hold back either, shit hot, cheers
Thanks Matty ! Yeah killa day on the tracks 😎
Boys- killing it. Such good content. You’re getting good at this. Big 79 getting thrown around is sick. Nice to see some positive JL talk- most Aussie’s laugh at JL/JT’s then they just crawl past on a bolt on lift and 35’s 👀
Thanks mate ! Yeah we love the jeeps , the rubicons are absolutely wild 😜
That last bonus line in the 79 had me puckering pretty hard! Could only imagine the state of Macca’s undies after that one 😂
😂 absolutely mental in person
Haha definitely a wild ride that line 😂
Taylor’s little 35s keeping up as per usual haha
Always 😝😂
That jeep! 🤤🤤 the bar work on that is absolutely insane! I need it for mine🤘🏻🤘🏻
So tidy hey!
@@macpreston absolutely unreal.
I’ve never seen this kinda stuff out here in Canada.
Been wondering how a guy would make that work on a Jeep, and boy did he deliver! Bloody impressive and clean, love it
@@038Landry definitely can wheel a car old shawry!
@@macpreston i will agree there haha! Hope to see him again on the channel!
Cheers from Canada boys 🤘🏻🤘🏻!!
Extremely hectic day!! Triton was a beast, unbelievable. Hilux was holding its own until it didn't.
Up the Toaster!! love Shawrrys work
Haha the toaster gets it done 💪
Would be gold to see same cars driven by different drivers. Just to show that while the build is an important part, the experience and skill behind the wheel is crucial. I imagine it would help new/young shed lifers.
Good call👍🏻
Driver skillset can make a big difference.
And a well equipped vehicle can get a crap driver into more trouble than his skill can get him out of.
Haha I don’t think many would want the liability of possibly putting mine on it’s lid 😂 would make a sik vid tho I agree!
@@macpreston haha! Great point.
Yes I've been waiting for something like this, cheers legends
Thanks mate 😎
37 trepador having so much ribs works miracle if dropped down to 5/6 psi and the difference between 10 and 6 is night and day difference. Great video guys.
Double voiceover makes me think we need a podcast or more group voiceovers
Working on doing a poddy again soon with the tassie lads!
Waiting for this for a week. thanks tj and macca
No worries legend !
Saw that jeep down on the nsw south coast yesterday and was like damn that’s hot and now to see it not just at woolies is mental, also loved the twin voice over where both of you legends are having convos and breaking stuff down for us
Thanks mate i was actually wonder peoples thoughts on that!
Dude! That was sick! Loved the farm trucks run on big red, definitely want more tritrol action 🤙 yeeeyeee
This is absolutely insane, big ups to you boys! 🔥🔥
Great driving in this vid, very impressive rigs especially the Jeep being relatively out of the box 👌🏼
Oath!! Finally see the old 106 in the wild 🤩 lovin the content fellas 🤙
Thanks mate !!!😎
Couldn’t handle havin the fella screamin through the uhf spotting haha
Great driving on big red maca.
Must be happy with that.
awesome guys, that was epic , Mac you made my day with the 79 getting up , the Triton just walked it 👍👍👍
Awesome episode boys 🤟🏽and absolutely rate Addison’s spotting
Well done guys. That was awesome to watch! great camera work too 👏🤟
Awesome driving fellas! And the voice overs 👌
love to see more of the triton
Hell yeah more JDM Tritons!!
On the tyre pressures on the lux/surf, it's not uncommon for Suzuki's especially LJs on 33s to run
Might have to give it a try next time!
Awesome video boys keep it up
Wow guys pushing the cars love it that track is on my bucket list! Looks narly!
Its pretty mental haha probs the limit of what id drive! But well see when we get down south next haha
Bloody unreal fellas
Awesome video ❤
Awesome video guys, I was just thinking about the run we did out at Glassy years ago in the Nav and Pathfinder, come a long way since then 😂
Not wrong 😂 slightly harder lines now 😅
Killer episode guys! Well done 👏🎉😂
That tritons sick.
This looks so good 😊 such a good episode 🎉
Thanks Shannon!
Crawled the fuck outta that mall!
😝 crazy woolies car parks these days
That black 79 is so gorgeous!
Great episode
Time for upgrades 👍
Crazy shit guys, bloody well done all!
Great driving by all. This is the first Australian CZcams channel I have watched that actually shows true wheelers. Who care about their rigs and the tracks well done guys.
thanks mate ! appreciate it :)
Absolutely love your videos boys, especially the old school The Offspring music in between!! made me get my Americana CD out :-D
Thanks Chris !
yet again boys, another mint video nice work yewww
Yeeehahhhhh! 🔥🔥🏴☠️
man the guy giving calls was insain
Great video guys, love the content, love the hilux, some of your problems getting up big red are the lockers your using, they disengage if you roll back and take a half revolution to engage again, personally i prefer the air locker tjm being the pick but arb are also great. They dont disengage until you switch the off.
No , the new Harrop lockers dont , but I know what you mean 😎
Awesome video as usual lads
Absolutely gangster 🤙🏽
Thanks Jesse !
Another banger as usual boys
Thanks David 😎
insane stuff
Time for a 80 front diff with coils and flipped radius arms.
awesome ep as always boys, did ya get new voice over equipment?? sounding mint this ep
Yeah sure did 😎 thanks mate !!
I just saw you guys like 2 hours ago heading Gympie bound.
This is awesome 😎
Yes please guys more on the triton or can you please please find someone with a D40 would love to see that
The triton is a beast 💪
The Riggs look good seen you guys heading north near tiaro must be off to the next off road epp
Sweet rigs guys💪👌🇧🇻
That was epic - big balls for sure
I'm sure I've seen the black cruiser on the road. This was epic boys, it's probably been at least ten years since I've been out glassy, health issues and shit, but this was pretty inspiring to get back out there!
Hope you get better soon and can get back out there mate!
@@macpreston thanks!
excellente vidéo, excellents véhicules!!!
Salutations depuis l'OCEAN INDIEN...
Cold tin in hand for this episode cheers 🍻
No worries !!! 😜
The lower low range in that jeep is seriously impressive
Love it
So refreshing seeing some real 4x4ing
Si verdad el triton el 3.2 motorazo y los semiejes inrompibles, hemoso video por mas👍👏👏👏👏🍻
man those ruts are kinda hard to comprehend
Definitely a view of big red not many have captured hey!
Let’s gooooooo😍
Just curoius, why is the spare rear wheel on the back of Maccas cruiser slightly offset from the centre in terms of where it's mounted. Is it for better weight distribution with the driver?
haha na i just didnt strap it down tight enough! Threw it on last minute it was sliding side to side!
Shit yes I wanna see this rig more than one time TJ. That thing looks awesome n thanks for the little rundown on it. If I had the chance &. Some coin that’s what I’m gunna build
That auto works so well holy
Yeah good shit, that was wicked. What size tyres has the hilux got?
Side note is there any rig run downs on your mates Sandy coloured troopy.
Yeah mate we have 1 in the early stages and one at the end of the recent Moreton island episode
You boys should round up the fence checking crew and head down to SA this summer carpenters rocks to robe..
sweet upload lads :D
Tidy driving and a great day out
cheers
Jim
Thanks Jim 😎
Does that keep have longer rear arms or is that how long they are standard
Super driving in Triton, Interesting though as Triton highly un road registerable in current form. Lots of buggies would do that with a greatvdriver likevhim.
That cruiser is sick. Wish they were in the us.
I think the driver is
F me fellas that's wild, heart rate was smoking just watching it top episode.
haha bit on ! thanks Alan !
Waiting for the Karen’s to start the hate for tj not having a winch line hooked up when backing down bug red 😂 love this ep lads keen to see more, would be sick to see the wildmn out there it’s a weap as well
Not much to connect to 😅 thanks mate !!!
Far out there’s a lot of rear steer in the lux 😂
All of the rear steer and not the controlled kind haha
🤙
Loving the content guys...Damn that Hilux is capable even the 2L/T, & the 75's ZF auto seems to make driveability on the trails smoother ....& remember no socks & crocs!
It’s a fun rig for sure !!
Well done. Would have to be the first 79 up all of it without a winch. What an animal of a drive and well very close on going over on the bonus line and needing lie to insurance. Got hit in the kfc drive-through.
Thanks mate! Devo the start took so long, if I didn’t pussy the wheel lift I might have got it sooner! Still heaps of fun!
Upp the triton ☝️☝️
Triton struggles more in the warm up then on Lil red
That cruiser is mean as
A BIG diesel v8 for the hilux😅
Cant fathom having the value of the 79 and treating it like that in that terrain. Case in point back rhs corner of tub, would much rather travel and see something with it.
It’s a wild rig ! We’ve done a lot of trips in it on the channel Richard! check em out 😎
I can't fathom having a capable 4x4 you've put money into and just pootling round the country in it.
😄
Horse for course😉
Definitely ranger to their own! I just enjoy seeing how capable it is and the crazy places and tracks it can take me on!
Most of the quarter damage was done down in Tasmania!
@@macprestonyes, loved your Tassie video, being from thecNorth/West of Tassie have spent a lot of time on those tracks 😊 Glad you enjoyed 👍
That jeep has the cleanest looking bar work I have ever seen. I suppose we Americans don't' do that because we can get away with high clearance flares and aftermarket lights
Yeah can’t have exposed tyre for some strange reason
America has it right for off-roading no doubt 😅
TJ when you hit a point where both sets of wheels are bumping at the same time on those double humps try unlocking the rear but keep the front locked. What happens is the rear keeps trying to drive forward at the same time where the front needs to climb vertical. so unlock the rear climb with the front and once on top of the hump lock the rear back in. Otherwise nice driving a impressive rig.👍
Great driving Ben. 👍
Ahhh yeah your prob onto something there mate ! Not bad advice, i was really trying not to break the axles 😂
I fully understand I I know she's all new to you as well, but the double bumping will honestly cause more shock load on the drivetrain and especially on the front. It causes the front to bite and dig while the rear is pushing it and causing it to bite down. Every vehicle is different and I could be wrong, or you may find unlocking the front and keeping rears locked may push you through easier. I guess what I'm saying is sometimes being double locked can put you in trouble. Otherwise impressive driving and rig. 👍😀
