Won't be long now, someones going to buy a road train and trun it into living quarters đ
đđ
đ
I've seen a family do it with a HR and trailer.
The truck half was a complete fold out camper (including the pet bird).
The trailer had a vitara, tinny, and full workshop in it. Some sort of engineer/fabrication.
They were travelling full time.
You could see the GVM on the door early on in the video , but great to see a build that everyone can afford.
My only complaint is I'm not rich enough to have one of these. So glad these liquid spring & dually to single rear wheel along with the front track correction kits from EOG in the states have made it to Australia. If i ever run into this guy on the road. I'll probably reck his pain job, I'll be drooling so much, ( providing I have a step ladder đ ).
Weights aren't a big secret when they're on the side of the truck. đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
đ
Love it, this is the way to go now days
đź anddddd I am straight to the EC build website đ
Looks mad well done
New dream build
I get it, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But my eyes hurt when looking at the proportions of this thing.
What a weapon
I saw this one at the Brisbane 4x4 show. Its a bloody monster. Credit to EC crew for a brilliant build
As an American I love that Aussies are driving these toys. I'm personally prefer GM/Chevy, but this Ford is well built! Enjoy it!
the best part was at 18.20âŠ..â you donât have to touch these things, thatâs where you save a bucket load of coinââŠâŠhaha, meanwhile $400 g notes later!
That's one big girlâ€đstunning
The F-450s and 550s come with the Dana Super 60 front axle which has a high pinion differential. That allows for the tight turning radius of the truck.
The 350s and 250s came with the Dana 60 (M256) up until part way through 2023. They did not get the wide track version which is what sets the F450+ apart.
i think it's truly the best video i've ever seen, thank you for your effortsâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
The truck needs a front bumper with a ladder attached. haha
Accent and attitude so reminds me of AUS love it
Excellent machine all quality very very nice indeed, that's a truck, no car man!
Hey, Baker! Watch it with the Bloody Nora's!! That's my mum's name!!!
your videos are really great, this content is really greatđ€Șđ€Șđ€Ș
Try Yukon gear and axle company. The best of the best.
Love this truck that suspension is the ducks guts and you have the same power as the ram eater pretty much. Brilliant.
Qld police frothing over the tyre protrusion happening here.
Registered as a truck itâs legal.
Frothing? Hardly. Would go well with his moustache
The only piece of kit the big girl is missing is rock sliders for the rear shock mounts. Those super expensive liquid suspension parts really need to be treated to special protection...replacing one easily is not a thing.
I have a feeling this is one those, if you have to ask how much it costs you can't afford it
Noice.
That is one beautiful truck, love it!!
41s look small on that
Cool truck but I think Matts ram looks better than his rig
Mint
Does more money err um equal more performance and value for $$ or is it bigger the chassis bigger the tyres? My $55k everest with 33â all day and we will both arrive safely
Love to be 6â5â just to check the oil ha
If you go big you need to go F series. Ford has big locked down to a science.
Awesome Episode. This is the best channel on YT
What an unbelievable waste of money. đ
Price ?
Spending this much on a rig to tow a 4-5t boat seems pointless. If you can afford the 500k+ for the rig you might as well just buy a place on the water and not have to tow your boat aroundđ€·đœââïž
If someone has the money to spend 500k on a rig to tow a boat Iâm sure they have a house on the water already. As he said itâs going to be set up for touring
Once we have the money in 50000000 years, the point will be clearer hahaa
Iâve found Lots of people nowadays are selling up homes to do their trip around Australia. This is a potential solution for the bigger towing needs
Can't beat life on the road
Meet a guy who built a bus to go around Oz for a year, 12 yrs later him and his wife were still going around. There's a buyer for everything.
Cha Ching!
lol 350k plus for a truck to just drive on a high way. Thereâs a reason they donât work out here in in Aus!
Spot on⊠many klms on the bitumen before reaching the dirt destination.
Yeah its the answer for the few who have 600k to drop on a car.
Half that
@@theexplorelife must have got the car for a bargan. Dont see them for under $250k n i know mods would have run 100k easy. Maybe abit more than half yeah? Remember we dont have sponsors n need to pay retail and labour costs.
Seen this at the brissy 4x4 show the horn rekt my day as im deaf in 1 ear and i get tinitus bad the guy honked it inside a building as i was standing next to it. It was painful
Yeah bro just whip down to woolys and grab some milk ..or not
Anything over 8t GVM sees you pulling into every weigh bridge, even if you did get a F550, youâd want to limit it to 7.9t yeah ?
Correct đ
The weigh stations are not a big deal. I have a Unimog (12t GVM) and it never bothered me.
Alright this is getting out of hand now đ
Nice rig. But who wants to spend that kind of money on a build plus you also need to get your truck licence. Seems like a good tow truck but as someone else said you could buy a house on the water or even pay to leave your big boat parked up and still have food at hone đ
Thirdđ
I wouldnât be frothin trying to find a car space to park it.
Make your own mate
Second đ§
6.7l V8 still need a tune to tow a boat. That rather disappointing. #salty
Definitely doesnt need it from standard, but with tyres that big youâd expect it
Mize well just buy a second hand earth roamer, would cost the same đ
Need to be 7 feet to reach in.. oooh wait.
What's with the multiple lights rather than light bars.
Generally you see a higher output of light with better direction distribution too
@@MarkSmyth just hope they donât get counted as seperate lights, if so, more than four !
@@TheTripleDubyaThe ones up top count as a 1light/bar if they all turn on at once. Light bars that turn on with multiple stages are technically counted as multiple lights even tho doubt you would ever get pulled up on that lmao
Fourth
Silly
While this looks fantastic, it's no good driving around town, pretty much useless offroad, won't fit down any tracks unless you want 500 pinstripes from the scrub, needs 20m to make a turn, accessing stuff in the canopy would be a pain, need a 2 stage ladder to get to the RTT, put 40+" tires on then hang the exhaust down too low, looks good but just impractical.
The suspension letâs it lower down an inch lower than factory. Weâre taking it to cape York so weâll find out all those questions đ
@@theexplorelife Cool, can't wait to see the big girl get stuck and break the winch trying to get the elephant outđ, Keep Nav away from it or you you may never see it again đ, Don't get me wrong it looks beautiful, but I would take your Ram over this in a heartbeat.
As an american I agree 100% I almost never see these f250+ diesels offroad on trails unless they are towing buggies, they are too big and heavy, I think if it had a big camper on the back it would be worth it to get out and camp in luxury
why?
Looks cool but give me a Unimog any day of the week over this. Fraction of the price and Probably better on fuel As well
I have one. Definitely cool and bigger but slow, noisy and very basic interior even modified. 21-25 l/100km for my Unimog is definitely not too bad.
Note for this money u could buy a semi tailor, and tow 50 ton
Yet, u dont get a four-wheel drive ect, ect
Nonetheless not just here prizes of trucks as such these days so expensive, its a cut throat world and we people trying to get ahead, battle, money has the answer the Bible says for all things from the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 8 i believe, well done great truck
Nice, but not in my price range.
Flex. Love the look of the new yank tanks.
Or haulin' a giant mouth...
I can hardly fit my ranger and 15ft van most caravan parks in the country u would have zero chance with this thing. Wouldnt fit the car alone in most caravan parks. No good for touring if u cant take it most places u need it.
Is it electric?!?! đđđ
Isuzu nps 300 hino 300 etc
Daily 4x4
THIS MADE ME SUBSCRIBE AWSOME UTE ? TRUCK I GUESS đ
in the states VERY expensive to insure and most insurance companies wont touch ...lmk if you know different . GREAT BUILD LOVE IT
Not any different than other heavy duty trucks...
Not always. When we purchase the vehicle, the insurance part is one day. They usually don't ask about aftermarket stuff.
I run an F450 in Maryland and it is not more expensive to insure than any other $100k vehicle.
So many jealous guys in the comment section ahahaha "omg why u spend so much". Guys just say u broke its not ur money lol
Just buy a bus at this point.
These huge trucks push out more than 3 times the heat that a small sedan does. Blame global warming on over-sized vehicles; especially if they mostly use them like ... small sedans.
Heat đ
First
no one cares
@@LukE-og9jf ok lukE
How ridiculous.
Yea na. Too big,too expensive, and way too american. Imagine trying to drive this down a tight track.
Dumb
DumbâŠ
Looks shit CZcams is just an advertising crap
Nothing about this truck looks shit mate đ itâs a weapon and a one of a kind. Innovation in the space advertising what can be done.
Too big!
Too expensive.
