Hi Josh, recently watched one of your videos on stability run shoes. I currently use Endorphin Shift for everyday/long runs. Love the shoe, however I'm looking for something for faster runs - tempo/race. I slightly overpronate, but the Shift has proven to be a great replacement following years of Mizuno Inspires. I recently tried the Endorphin Speed 2, but no support and didn't feel right for me. I want to avoid the older style stability shoes and (if possible) use a similar but faster style to the shift. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

      Hey Janet,
Thanks for watching and sending through your question. From what I have just read your shoe history is:
      Current - Endorphin Shift
      Old - Mizuno Inspire
Tried the Endorphin Speed 2, however the shoe lacked support potentially too soft?
With all this in mind, and considering you are trying to avoid traditional stability styles running shoes.
      Shoes to consider:
      Brooks Launch GTS
Why: This shoe is light, no real magic in the midsole (plates) but on a 10mm drop with decent stack and guide rails around the midsole (Brooks non intrusive way to offer support) this shoe might be one that would work.
      Hoka Mach 4
Why: Light, broader base provides a decent platform to help with an element of mid to late stage pronation. It is on a 5mm drop (29-24) which isn't too dissimilar to Endorphin Shift. Again no bells and whistles in the midsole, but I always find this shoe good fun. Can be used for mileage, but most people use it as tempo/interval shoe as its light, but offers some protection.
These are the two that I would suggest trying at least and seeing what you find.
Please keep me posted on which shoe(s) you decide to go with (even if not the ones above).
      Many Thanks for watching.
      Happy Running,
      Josh & Sportitude.

Hi Josh, I’m from brazil so sorry for my english. I’m looking for a shoe lighter than my ultraboost 21 to run. I need a good cushioning system, i have a heavy body (87 kilos) and want to a wide base shoe. I’m thinking about this, nimbus 24 or glycerin 20. Do you think tbis is a correct choice for me? Thanks! 🇧🇷
