So obviously flat earthers are silly, but you gotta appreciate this guy's attitude--he learns about this conspiracy theory of a flat earth, and instead of just sitting around and accepting the theory as true, he sets out to see it for himself. There's a genuine look of excitement and exhilaration on his face as he leaves his old life behind; to him, it wasn't about whether the earth was flat or not, it was about the journey to discover what's out there.
right, I think a lot of people are totally missing what the whole things about. sure there's a callback to lone digger at the end but the main thing is about this being dissatisfied with life and trying to get out of it

The moment I saw the club lighting and heard the brass, I had a bad feeling things were somehow gonna come circle.
In Lone digger, you don't see the Donkey cack it on screen and his body is notably missing from the pile at the end... Also, the table he was sitting at is flipped on its side.
He survived the fight, and I suspect that he was hiding behind the table so as to avoid getting involved in the end.

This song speaks to a great restlessness; longing for something, but not knowing what, but it's out there somewhere. It's as they say in the song, you can't know what lies ahead if you don't go. Likewise, "leaving without a view" it's like leaving a relationship, a city, a job, etc without a plan; just a hope that you'll find what you're looking for. It is very very very clever how the singer says "I'm looking for..." and never finishes the line, because he doesn't know what it is. It's a truly wonderful song.

The symbolism is that the 'predatory', animalistic nature - the animal jingoism took it's course and every predatory animal tried to prove that it's the strongest by killing those that are 'weaker' or 'natural enemies' which proves fatal and kills every single one of them.

I like how he swallows the fly, it along with its enclosed mentality.
I like how no one's mentioned that he basically spends all this time discovering what's there at the edge of the world and then immediately dies when he gets there.
My interpretation:
As shown through repeated imagery, the character feels trapped in his world. In the end we see him manage to find a way out, ending up in the Lone Digger bar.
He literally broke free of his music video and entered another one.
Sunset Hero the way that in the beginning he looks at the sky and sees the robot face, and it freaks him out. He has essentially switched places with the fly in the glass.

ok so what iâm getting here is that at various points around the world are entrances to this âCaravan Clubâ where whenever people enter, they take on an animal/creature like form based on their personalities or ideals. This guy became an ass for believing in crackpot theories, the bull became the bouncer because of how traditionally intense and standoffish bulls can be, there were snakes which would be underhanded or deceitful people, and dog mobsters, all trying to be the âtop dogâ. the list goes on. if they keep expanding this it could be incredibly interesting

Compared to the media and ideology we indulge ourselves in, it makes our world seem rather...dull. We all want to be something more than what we are now; perhaps a Superhero, maybe a knight, even a king, and many of us wish to be something of a god...but in the end, we're just...human. We hope to meet extraterrestrial life, to walk on stars with an alien race, to explore the vast universe that surrounds us...but we know that's just a fantasy. It's so very hard to be content with that reality. But it's up to us to bring some life to our world, even if it's not the grandeur we hope for. And it's ultimately our choice if we can feel satisfied in our world or not.
@@leons.kennedy5353 or we can wait a little bit longer and indulge ourselves in more media (aka fully realistic VR) and actaully live out those fantasies while being detached from reality :) That's obviously the easy solution to being satisfied with your life though
