The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is the direct result of learning lessons from the Panamera Sport Turismo: if you want to sell a wagon in America, lift it 1.5" and make it look rugged. So the Taycan Cross Turismo has a suspension 20mm higher than the standard car, more rear seat and cargo room, stunning good looks, and with the lone exception of the RWD, base version, can be ordered with any powertrain combination. This is the exact spec I would get for the sedan. The CT needs the sand tan/gray with the 3D wheels. They are amazing.

How effective is the extra gear ratio? And how smooth and seamless is the "shift"?
When u put the taycan in sports mode it really feels like shifting ! Also when u slow down it makes a noice and u feel it shift. It really is a great thing. In normal or range u do not actually notice it

0 to 60 times are way over rated. I have a F Type R rated at 3.8 seconds. To me that’s impressive and about as quick as I ever need to go. And honestly, I don’t get to punch it that often. What makes the power train fun for everyday driving is the amazing noise and the awesome gear changes. The handling dynamics are awesome and the interior is luxurious, but still... If the car was silent with no rumble, I’d could see getting bored on the daily. If I’m honest, the thing I like most about this car is that it’s a Porsche and I love their attention to driving dynamics and driving passion. That said, canyon carving in this seems fun. But the RS6 would also be fun.

Scottevest is solid stuff. I have 4 items and tons of pockets good for all seasons. Summer and Really Freaking cold winters, are a bit lacking. Great EDC and travel gear. They need a system winter coat, and a super discrete fanny pack... maybe that would round it up for a person with no purse or man bag.

Americans unfortunately aren't nearly as into wagons as our European brethren. Fortunately Porsche is bringing us the good stuff.
In US it's more of an SUV obsession. Wagons are rare in comparison.
