- I think @VideoGameEsoterica was right, this is the best arcade racing game ever... and AMAZING with a force feedback wheel! I'm in heaven. Goal C,D,E coming soon!!

Great game! I was at SEGA and worked on the X360/PS3 port (called Outrun Online Arcade), which was a port of this. One of my favourite games ever. I prefer to shift down then back up to initiate drifts. Give that a go sometime :)
Oh wow!! That's awesome that you were a part of this! I didn't know there was a 360 port, I only knew of the PS2 ports which I have...
So DJhaigh explained this (manual style drifting) to me on the discord as well! I haven't tried manual mode yet! I will have to give it a shot, but it does feel kinda good to do the left foot right foot pump cuz it's kinda engaging. Guessing then the right foot is down the entire time if you do it on manual 😎 which means it's faster too!

@@AKTANEARCADE Due to licencing issues the port was removed from XBLA and PSN, but if you've previously owned them you are able to re-download them :)
And I never thought of auto vs manual modes; I've been playing Outrun in manual for so long haha. Look forward to that vid!
@@truecauseofchaos haha I am a newbie... And while I play sim racers in manual, I had no idea what to do with arcade and figured ah why not do auto since I'm not really gonna be clutching or shifting haha 😂

I can throw on a VR headset if I want a bigger screen 😬 but real talk the cabinet of this game is around the exact same size as that screen ;)
I usually play in VR for driving games but threw a screen together for arcade racers. It's perfect. So fun.
Man this game is way more male chauvinist than the original: "woman, don't encourage me to drive recklessly! Do you want to die or what?"
