So ‪@truecauseofchaos‬ and DJHaigh mentioned I should try manual transmission and using that to drift instead of using the brake / gas technique... so I figured why not try it! it took a second to get used to tho! There was some scratchiness in the audio this time... I noticed but not sure what it is...

Well done! Must be a little tough with paddle shift (I had an OutRun 2 machine at work and it had a stick). I found the technique at random but it's my go to way now as I feel you can initiate drifts at lower speeds and drift at higher speeds so is my preferred way. If you feel you aren't at top revs for a gear, you can down shift twice and up shift twice to initiate a drift. Basically you can drift at any speed.
Love the home setup! OutRun 2 is one of my top games of all time, and I've worked on a few games that have been inspired by OR2. Truly a timeless game :)

So I could definitely like get my shifter taken apart and switch it to sequential mode but it's such a pain! So I won't do that for now ! Haha but yeah it's a little odd with the paddles.
Also whoa double shift down and double up! 😄 New tech!!!

Also thanks! I'm very happy with finally having an arcade racing setup I can use for VR sim as well ;) Really simple, thrustmaster TX wheelbase, the shifter is irrelevant, upgraded pedals and wheel rim but again you don't need to do that if you're not using the clutch.
