- In this episode, we are not working on cars, but I do parkour while building a nice usable workbench, with quick access to tools and plenty of storage above and underneath. Lots of satisfying tool clicks in this one!

Same. I subbed at the max tier after his first new shop vid just to help a little to get this thing going. It's damn satisfying seeing a well thought out shop being put together.
Same
Good onya mate. If we want more of this great content we do need to help him. I'd much rather pay for this than pay the tv licence.
I wish I could do the same, but in Argentina its WAY to expensive to afford a euro on something D:
@@conraborchez Malaysia feels you..
Kevins, lemons, Carbon Fibre towels, Hugh Jackmans....the M539 Dictionary is growing.
Don’t forget the software store that sells planks of wood and baskets.
@@am_jeds Don't forgot the wires...
And the smackaroonies :D
I like to think this is payback for all of those people that try to say, you need to replace your blinker fluid lol.

This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble czcams.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
LOL at shopping at software store, that's even better than carbon fiber towels :D
don't forget the kevins
I spat my drink all over my keyboard, Sreten you idiot, come clean this!
Wrong! He should download it and not unload it
Or the dipshit
Him saying that bothered me more than it should have.
"Now we need to precisely measure this!"
**points finger**
I work at amazon. I handled these exact lights for you. It's crazy coincidence. I handled new lights for my favourite youtuber!
James May would've spent half the episode naming his tools!
“This one’s Geoffrey”
Who else want's to see Sreten making parkour videos?
Man, a table construction was entertaining! This channel is a blessing!
indeed, indeed.
He's basically building what we all dream about doing. He's just doing it. I have the house now, I have the garage. Need to get heat into it, then workspace time and a scissor lift!
Great idea and well done. One thing you will wish you had done, however, is put a narrow backboard on the work surface at the wall so nothing can fall down at the back. I speak from experience. Thanks for sharing.
It's tight fit to the wall but I plan to add a thin wood strip there anyway.
@@M539Restorations You won't regret it! Small parts have a magnetic attraction to those narrow slots and finding them on the floor can be disheartening.
"So now I need to precisely measure this..."
Points finger and eyballs it.
-
That's what we say in construction as "Looks good from my house" precision.
A saying ive heard when asked about the tolerances allowed is “within the nearest building site”
@@MachineInput I love it.
The only thing good about missing a M539 video is that you get to watch two, back to back. 😄
Workshop building , cars restoration…. Consider to do a series of DIY and cooking stuff and you’ll be the only youtuber I’ll need….Bien hecho 💪🏽
You're one of, if not the only one on youtube whose videos I watch without skipping anything. Even this video of putting together a workbench was entertaining
I was thinking the same 😂😂😂
Dude, you can do whatever you like... Even if you consider rolling new carpets at Home. fire up the cam an be simply the guy you are! love it!!!!
Love the editing, means I dont have to skip past the boring unboxing bits!
Excelent remark - Sreten worked in IT so I would expect nothing less! Very well pointed @richt247 Excelent edit @Sreten - as always...
12:29 it's confirmed that M539 likes to cut corners
I subbed to watch you fix cars, not build benches!
This is as helpful as Mike Finnegan offering up bandsaw safety tips to his subs... like they need it.
Captain slow would be delighted 😉
Making things workable from the beginning is essential 👍🏻
Hey Sreten I'm a musician and you created some nice rhythm patterns with drilling and screwing. Very cool!
I was too quick with answering (cause I was amazed by the sounds), but I have to tell you, none of your vids is boring! They are interesting (even not working on BMW I learn things), satisfying (like the vids of production or craft work that fullfill you with inner peace), and always funny at certain points. Very well done, I always enjoy watching them a lot!
Have a good time in your new shop man!
As someone with OCD, your way of sorting everything was magical.
but a Good OCD
Being organized is not OCD.
I notice a nice open space by the paper towel rack. Perfect for your 100k subscriber award from youtube ;)
OSD people are happy and James May for sure will approve the build. Its perfect!
You girlfriend is gonna see this and say: "If you can vacuum your wood, you can vacuum the house!"
Haha oh yes, that was the first comment. Also, why can't you organize your clothes like that. 😁
@@M539Restorations Its all about priorities, a shirt you can miss, but your 10mm..
Offer to vacuum the house only if she offers to vacuum your wood 😉
It really doesn't work that way. The ability to clean workshops and cars to pristine condition doesn't translate to domestic settings.
Ahahahah 😂
“Mui exelente!” Havent heard that one for a while 😃
Was it boring? Hardly. You are the complete package in front of the camera mate. Best of all is that, in 2021, you come across as a no nonsense down to earth bloke.
Not boring at all! Extremely entertaining to all of us men (sponsored by fogging oil) who like to repair/clean/build. Already looking forward to the next video Herr Sreten. 👍
Following a journey on your growth in becoming a master in your talent is more fulfilling than just seeing the steps of your good works. The video was truly worth it,Sreten. I love your work, very inspirational. Keep up
On the drilling nut and bolt portion, primo masterful editing.
I had bit of laugh on that one 😃
Musical to say the least :)
I'd just add like a 3 or 4 socket, surge protected extension. comes in hand for charging drills, soddering iron, phone charger, and ofc, the quintessential shop radio. :)
Everything else is spot on! Loved the build
James May is in awe, as his isn’t as good and he gets other people to make it for him. You’re far far better!! 👍
“Do it once, do it right” words to live by! Very inspirational video as always. I would love to fix broken BMWs as well but will live vicariously through your videos for now…keep it up!
Measure once cut twice.
Definitely
@@macman6107 doesn't matter how much I cut off, it is still too short.
GOD how do these videos just keep getting better? That edit at 22:15 was just so intensely satisfying!
The workstation became very good! Excited to see the neglected BMWs on the new garage!
I sincerely believe James May would approve. Well done.
"Got some wood from the *software* store", gotta love Sreten!
"was this video fun for you?" Dude, you could read the bible for 45min and it would still be fun. Great content!
Ok, im 51 and jealous of your workbench :) I dream of similar when we hopefully buy a garage with a house attached next year. Inspiration right there.
I'm hype like this is my garage and workbench! Also "Bog Roll" International slang wizard, I'm British and approve the bog roll message!
We'd literally watch and listen to you doing anything..😎 So many possibilities, congrats again💪
I like your personality so I enjoyed just hanging out drinking a beer while you did all the work. Don't worry, I drank one for you!
I love your sense of humor, and to speak English whilst thinking in German is totally intelligent! 😁
I have a dream someday you will have someone from the OG top gear as a special guest!
19:21 Sreten's like "Paint me like one of your French girls"
Henri Toulouse-Lautrec has entered the chat...
That’s a sweet workbench 👌 Plenty of shopping at the ‘software’ store 😉
"It needs a LITTTTTLE BIT more".....had me in stiches. Its the small things in life :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is OCD about how a workshop is arranged. Looks good Sreten!
By the way, in recent year, after figuring out Sreten's videos, whenever I search for a house to buy, FIRST thing I do is to go for the garage photos :)
If the garage is small (or, God forbid, doesn't exist at all), this house is immediately crossed out of the list!
This is the best automotive channel on CZcams. And its all down to your amazing presentation skills. You could walk straight into a job at Top Gear and fit right in.
Loved to see saving that big cardboard box. Those are real treasure to maintain the floor of the workshop.
It is a pleasure to show your videos - no matter whether you show us a car or the interior of your workshop. :-)
Parkour!! I still ear the voice of Michael Scott in my head (The office)
“This is luxury creeper... and then it can become an oil catching device...” 🤣
As a person who is struggling with workspace for his projects this is highly satisfying to watch.
Not boring at all. Glad to see you working at the new shop. Pleace take us along with you...
Damn, even the bench building is entertaining... keep 'em coming!
Loving the series, I had a terrible day because my car has been rear ended and you've made it a bit better thanks man
Sorry to hear that. Hope you can get things sorted.
@@BruceBoschek Yeah the insurance company will take care of it. I am a bit gutted because it's the first time that something like this has happened to me. And i wasn't even in the car, it was parked on the side of the street when this girl crashed into it.
@@zIceMan00 It is very disheartening to be sure. I guess you just have to be glad you were not in the car and didn't get hurt. I'm almost 80 years old, so I have had lots of these experiences. They are always jarring and upsetting, even after you have experienced a number of them. Best wishes to you.
@@BruceBoschek It is nice to see such a supportive comment. Unfortunately, this is not something often observed within my generation. If you have grandchildren, teach them to be encouraging as you have shown yourself to be. Cheers.
@@BruceBoschek thank you so much for sharing your experience sir.
6:50 the editing is better than in any 100+ million dollar movie
Saturday Special .....Longer lunch today! Yea! Broken junk is great, cause you get to take it apart before recycling!
I love the aging wheels inspired editing on the drilling clips, that always has entertained me
Definitely fun and interesting to watch. It's always helpful to understand your background e.g. how the shop is set up. So ... for me: Definitely time well spent.
We all have to help Sreten finish his workshop! Greetings from Kyrgyzstan! ☺️💪
"Probably should have done this before.." is definitely the most used phrase on any DIY project xD , Shop is looking muy excelente as well Sreten and thank you once again for sharing this journey with us .
Nice job, well done. Can't forget to mention the equally superb video editing skills.
Really enjoy watching you put your shop together! You have a rare gift for gab, and presenting interesting content! 👍👍
It's beautiful. The perfect work bench. The aluminum top knocks it out of the park.
Nice place.
Simple and organize.
I like the video..and my wife either!!
"You must do something like that in your place".
She said..!
So, you, your place, must be my inspiration...!!!
"I approve!" - James May
I love your editing style :))
This is a departure from the usual videos, but as usual, Sreten has found a way to weave in entertainment and education. Another brilliant and excellent post.
It wasn't about the BMW, but still fun to watch!!!👍👍👍
Ahh - a simultaneous caffeine and endorphin hit (sequential new vids from M539 and Home Built by Jeff).
6:56 I could watch this all day 😂
name dropping james may, winner
it's pretty much what i was thinking of doing myself if i ever got the space
That L322 though, another reason to watch this channel.
I enjoyed the thought process that went into the setup, it was fun seeing it come together and it gives us an idea of your preferred work environment. "A place for everything and everything in its place". Thanks for sharing.
"I had an image in my head, and it turned out better than I was expecting"... that never happens to me.
"I hope it was't too boring" Hahah you could upload a 40 min video doing nothing and wouldn't be boring. There's something special in your videos💪🏼✌🏻
What would be really nice is to add a LED strip with a neutral color behind the tools to give some extra working light and ambient!
Love the editing, can really feel the effort that went in there..
We are witnessing the start of something BIG!! This channel will have millions of subscribers one day and I’m glad I’ve been apart since the beginning
"Software store" man, your killing.
Very satisfying video, ocd level on minimum for now, so thank you.
watching others working while you are at work is cool
Can't get enough of the "Software Store" 😂😂😂😂

@@michaeldavies9257 You're right I think Gold and crypto are the best to invest right now

Love drilling through Aluminium. Like cutting through butter. Except if it's one of those fancy alloys, then it's pure hell.
This episode is James May approved. Keep up the good work.
Why was this video soooooo enjoyable?? Yes, James May would approve!
CZcams , give this man 1 milion euro in advance .
Pretty setup.
The 1st entertaining video about assembling a work table/bench
The luthier/woodworking music was a nice touch.
Extra 10 mm socket with its own space. The only way not to loose them
You know that "missing" shirt from car throttle.....?
I love that workbench! I'd move the tyres onto an upper level, and put a mattress where now lay the tyres ;-)
Not boring at all. You continue to be the best mechanic channel on CZcams. Cumprimentos de Portugal!
@M539 Restorations Another idea of what you could add to the rack is some camera mounting spots, ballhead+magic arm. Would save you a bunch of time and space setting up the tripod and give you some extra angles.
Can't wait for the next episode!
That will be good table.
You should put led strip under that tool wall. It would look nice against that wall.
Boring? What can be better than this?! Only a parkour videos with a perfectly executed ninja flips!
love how you intentionally found a way to drain the water @13:03
I'm in Australia and it gets cold and hot. More hot than cold. Germany, maybe not good for Summer or Winter in your country but good for Spring or Autumn. Your loading racks seem to have plenty of space to build up (use every space you can fit as you say). Get a few more orange load racks with the wood base and put on the top level of your rack a mattress and pillow for the times you need a rest or a nap. Put another orange rail on the side so you don't fall out of the bed, attach a ladder to get up there, then instant chill out bed to rest your bones and muscles away from home :-) Better than lying on a cold concrete floor!
