GIANT LED flood light

- This was a sample LED flood light I was given as to see if I would purchase another 15 of them for a car dealership front external car lot lights. They had old 1000w medal halide lights already in place.
When comparing both together this LED certainly stood its ground. I was certainly impressed !
The real question is, the manufacturer or should I say the Australian distributor offers a 2 year warranty on the light however, I've noticed in recent years since LED's have become a player in the market those so called warranties are rapidly reducing over time???mmmm wonder why?
I never want to come back to a job to fix a light and because these will be installed at 8m height the cost of repair for possible warranty issues is a real concern for me (cherry picker hire costs etc). I suppose only time will confirm if these LED floods go the distance.

that vid is now 3 years old and LED's have moved on so much in the past few years. Back then both were worth viewing so I showed both. Now even the larger LED spot has not only been superseded by a much lighter version but it's 1/4 the price Muppet!
Those are street post lights we have those in usa on every street every post on new sub divisions
sorry but you may not have notices???? that video is 3 years old when you commented. It's only because this is a long weekend here today that I was so bored I went on CZcams to look at things and noticed your post. Yes at the time they were exciting LED's floods but here today June 2018 those too are every where from street light posts to football fields, tennis courts. The market is "pardon the pun" flooded with LED's :) they are also cheaper and better ones around too. At the time they cost about $2000+ each now you can pick those up at about $600.00 in places and if you order direct from China you may even get a sample if your lucky.

When I posted this video is was a challenge to source these out however, now any electrical wholesaler should have them on their shelves. There are also much more selection to choose from.
