- Cameron McAdoo speaks on how much the 4 stroke engines have evolved throughout the last 20 years.
Cameron Mcadoo joins us after a tough couple of weeks at the office, as an unlucky crash forced him out of the SX championship. It has been quite the season though for Cam as he was once again in the hunt for the championship even after a crazy first turn incident that left him exposed, but unfazed. In this podcast we talk not only about the above, but about coming out of his shell in 2024, his rivalry with Haiden Deegan, AC's mentorship and retirement, Eli Tomac, if burnouts are a good idea after winning a race, the evolution of 4-stroke, and Supercross tracks in 2024.
This was a great interaction between you guys. Cam seems like a genuine dude. We need more guys like him at the top
Gold nice one again my brother keep dropping the fire. Working towards a goal always feels nice without a doubt
"You'll never not be able to get better at it" can oath my man
I love MCadoo but damned if I don’t see Roger Klotz, from the Nickelodeon show “Doug”……every time I see him talk.
I cant stop lookong st the crease kn the backdrop 😂
Gypsy tales is killing it mate digging all the interviews who won the build off with u and deegan
I haven't ridden a 4stroke MX bike since the very first yz250f with the decomp lever, I was faster on my 125
I remember being able to buy a brand new cr 500 for 3000 and now what is a 450
The guy asking this question never rode a '90 ktm lc4 :) Those were really bad pieces of shit compared to the fourstrokes these days.
I worked in a ktm shop in those days... Sworn I would never ever ride a fourstroke and never ever ride a ktm myself...
Guess what I ride these days ;) Proud church of 350's member with my third 350, had a 2014 ktm, a 2016 ktm and now a 2022 Gasgas...
They've come a loooong way. The old ones were def tanks..lol.
Good selection of top notch steeds. The 350 is damn near perfect bike.
Ive got to rebuild my cr250 and jet for race fuel. Cheap fuel will kill my bike so itll sit in storage till i figure out how to afford it.
Carb bikes are good if set properly, if you set your bike up at home then race at a higher altitude then you will have problems but bog usually is to do with carb set up wrong
Carb tuning is too complicated for the average person nowadays. I love doing it but my friend's son literally threw away his PWK because he couldn't figure it out.
@microsoft790 as a 90s kid think it would of been the first thing learned back in the day or the bike was never making it out lol
Barcia at Blue Dimond
Surprised Jase didn’t claim the 2024 crf line up is garbage like he always does 😊
in the 80's you had a spare and parts to build another. can only imagine cost with 4 stroke
Viva privateers!!
You literally have a podcast of you saying the exact opposite.
Jase shut your ego down and interview the guest . Your not a pro rider , we are here to hear about them not you 🙄
Quit listening and gathering your opinions from someone else, he didn't get these comments until Cooksey made a hypocritical video... he said nothing that made him seem like he's got an ego, he's just having a conversation. Jesus, everyone loves to talk shit and jump on bandwagons, it's absolutely ridiculous.
durable kawasaki 450 lmao
☠️
Kawasaki blow up standard by reving them up never mind no limiter lol weakest engine by far
“New stock bikes are insane” “yeah, I don’t ride stock motorcycle anymore” “but their so good” come on bro, a fully built 05 would dust a stock 2024 works edition stock bike.
No it would not 🤣
@@VacidZombies you don’t have a fully built 450 brotha, I have ridden all of the Honda 2024 models, I have built bikes. check the CZcams channel, the stock or rwe is a total pooch compared to a 2005 crf450r with every mod
@@VacidZombies your a cod zombies channel anyways, what do you know about building custom dirtbike racing engines?
@@VacidZombies just because the year before the model name is higher doesn’t mean you can get any more boom out of 450cc when your tuning it on the edge. carbureted bikes put down more power and just as snappy with the correct jetting. Just look at the dyno graphs on stock bikes. Lol, a 2005 Crf450r was 55hp with 12:1 compression the new 2024 rwe 450r is 55hp also with 13.5:1 compression....... now what would happen if you raised the compression to 14:1 on the 05 450 then ported the head then installed a full Hinson clutch not just the basket... you now have a 64hp monster, ask me how I know, oh yeah I built one and tested all the bikes on the same dyno, stick to zombies brokie.
@@StealthTacticalRyan I aint reading all that lmao, you can take your "W" mr internet know it all 😂🤡
Have they improved? Of course they have. Their problem? THEY'RE NOT 2 STROKES!!
I've realized this channel is all about this dude. He's only using the guest to find a story about himself. He hasn't accomplished sh--! Unsub
See ya brother 👋
