⭢ 100 Year Annivesary Master Lock 1921D Heavy Duty Outdoor Padlock with Key and Keychain: amzn.to/3s8YfS2
Regardless of the industry one is in surviving for 100 years is quite the feat. I would like to congratulate Master Lock for 100 years of service. Master Lock in a way has helped lock sport grow through providing easy locks to learn on and piquing the interest of many. There is much to be said about the question why Master Lock has failed to make decently secure locks over the last 100 years, but my goal is to not delve into that today. I just want to say well done Master Lock and here’s to the next 25-year milestone!

My hats off to Master Lock for their 💯 anniversary.
Where would we be as beginning lock pickers without them😃
Stay safe my friend
🐈⬛🐾🐈🐾😷👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
They chose the 4 pin key with a laminated padlock with the old design possibly because those are things we know them for
Thanks for sharing!
hats off to you for picking that beast!
👍
They've always kept the 'borrowers' out of my tool chests at work where out of the 1000 or so employees you can always depend on a few to be helping themselves to an unlocked cabinet!
Thanks for sharing!
The comment about the dust cover being the hardest part of the lock had me in stitches that’s funny thanks I think I might buy one just to own it cheers
I am serious though, without a tool or key to pry it open no one is getting in lol
Love your pick case. Gotta make something like that
Thanks, it is a really nice thing to have but we'll beyond my skills set to make
I have a lot of Master locks, from pre-WWII, thru the 60's & 70's, to current -- I have made it a habit to pick up an unusual or interesting Master once-in-awhile -- So you could say I do like Master Locks, and I can tolerate the laughing at the Master padlock part of my collection. They truly have made improvements thru the years, like to dual locking, and now to ball bearing type locking. Always inexpensive, but certainly overrated in terms of security; but I still like them despite all their flaws -- "You get what you pay for" (still not sure if I want the crappy, ugly, "plastic covered" 100th anniversary one)
I do find it sad when you compare this to the 75 anniversary padlock how that one looked somewhat more special and collectible in this is just a whatever lock off the shelves with a label on it :-(
Great demonstration and review. Thanks for video cheers
Thanks for checking it out
The body reminds me of the Pro Series 6121 we get here in Australia, it has the 6000B keyway and contains 1 standard, 4 spools and the dust cover is also quite hard to get off. I thought Master would of put a 5 or 6 pin core to celebrate their 100 years but still a nice looking padlock.
I agree it does look like that. Also, why not throw.in tje 7000B keyway while you are at it, lol
Looked like it has spools in it. That's a plus.
Mine had (Peter Lewis has it now in a trade) four spools in it.👍🦊
@@jackfoxlock That's actually quite good for a Master Lock Jack.
Lol, I will take any improvement we can get!
good job ! your videos are good they help a lot ....
Thanks for checking it out 😀
You beat me to this, just got mine, and was going to do a video on the open. Great job on the open and video
Thanks for checking it out!
Wow, 100 years and they still have never heard or pick resistence.
It is sad but I can still respect they have made it this long
Are some of master locks like level nine and 10 locks at least decent?
They are okay from strength but none of them are pick resistant
Great job! Is it guttable?
to be honest I never looked down to shackle hole
It has a allen wrench screw down in the shackle hole. I tried to loosen it with no luck, don’t want to strip the screw out
FYI one of mine is a five pin. Bought another and it’s also four pins. But I guess there are some fives out there.
Strange
my pins get stuck like not. they go down all the time what do I do wrong?
I would just keep practicing and you'll get it with time. I don't exactly know what you were talking about
They should change their name to "Master Crap"
Thank you for checking it out
100 years seems only a marketing strategy to make a few extra bucks on some shitty locks
Thanks for checking it out
What would you do if you didn't have masterlock .moms apple pie
