    While many Muslims are conscious on not sending their kids to "Christian" schools, we have to relie that "secular" schools are from the biggest challenge facing the ummah... Secularism is an ideology that systemeticlly removes Allah from our lives and promotes atheism, humanism, democracy, the rib economy and effectively makes all participants/investors part of the Kufr system. Islamic schools are offering a Muslim environment, but the secular mindset is not absent

  • @Crescentmoonandstartherapy

    I completely respect sheikhs opinon and i agree that christian and catholic schools will harm our muslim children as they will want to be christian like the other children.im talking about primary schools.However non faith schools in a area where muslims are a minority are good as they teach our kids to be part of society to accept and be kind toeveryone regardless of race religion ethnicity or class.Its very important for our chikdren to grow up respecting and able to mix with others in our siciety.infact we all keep forgetting the only reason we are allowed to live in a non muslim country is by giving dawah and mixing with the people of the land.our children are also beacons of light to others.And will one day work alongside men and women.Men and boys need to learn and develop social skills with women and need to be re educated into the treatment of women as prescribed in the koran.lets not have a backward mentality when islam and prophet muhammad taught us a fresh forward way of thinking.As for high schools yes teenagers learn about lgbt sex puberty drinking and drugs gambling.The issue is not to bury pur heads in the sand we can not lock up our kids from society.The issue is our societies across tge globe are corrupt and it is better for our teenagers to know whike there teenagers of these issues so that the line of communication is open and as good muslim parents we can convey the koran and islam and explain we dont do haram things and to respect others because only allah can judge between us.if you hide youre child and teenager and do not talk to them about these issues they may go and do it behind ypure back.or when there adults that is the reality you can not make ypure child a muslim you can not force them as they grow up into an adult to be a muslim.We can try to guide them and teach them in my opinon as a mum of 6 4 teenagers boys and girls and 2 small children it has to be there choice.They become responsible for there own actions they can not survive in a jungle if you have not send them into the jungle already taught them survival skills they need to face whatever comes there way.. And also by growing up with others they will learn love and compassion tolerance which islam teaches us and something that is lacking in our umma.it irons out racism narrow mindness segregation by muslims.if im honest ive found non muslum parents much kinder and polite and well behaved and accepting and there chikdren then muslims .And also the level of education is better then muslim schools.For the deen there is the mosque for kids and teenagers unfortuanetly one of my teenagers where stabbed in the mosque.i found muslim children have serious behavioural issues and agression and muslim parents do not discipline there chikdten or talk to them.They did not parent there children.so i took them out of the mosque classes.Its ironic that there non faith schools are next to the mosque and yet nothing like that ever happened to my kids at school ever at 1 prumary school and 2 big highschools .The majority of parents at there primary school are not muslim .I stay away from the muslim mums as they gossip and backbite and stay in there own groups a small algerian group and a small pakistaini group.The algerian group are very cold and have shouted and screamed at my children unjustifiably because they where playing and he said she said they threatened to beat me up.And complained about my children to the head teacher .The pakistain sisters do not smike or return my salams ever i tried to speak to them they segregate themselves.Both groups told me islam is only for them.As a italian revert born in london grew up with mixed cultures i dont understand there hatred in there hearts to others there racism burns deep and so i wash my hands of it.in this situatiion my children will grow up as better open minded well behaved respectful loving courteous muslims in a non faith school compared to attending a muslim school riddled with badly behaved children or snooty judgemental holier then thou muslim chikdren .we go from one extreme to the other.My chikdren at higj school are proud to be one of the only muslimsvtjey see the beauty and light of guidance in our deen compared to th darkness in our world.If they have that theyare blessed theyvdibthings because they love allah and islam not because they where oppressed and dictated to or bullied by ohers.Allah will npt change our umma untill we change ourselves.we need to stop making excuses for our bad parenting skills or justification of culture for narrowmindness.we should all be cjanging everyday and it starts by admitting our issues so that we can stop.our chikdren copy us completely.How are our children going to be good descent kind muslims if we are not as parents?so its nothing to do with a non muslim school not catholic or christian though its to do with parenting ypure kids.men dont know how to be fathers sorry but its true alot of muslim men dont spend time or talk tonthere kids or teenagers mums are not savy on the reality of the problems our teenagers face and most parents are a generation behind.we need to be real and accept our society and understand it to help our teenagers to protect themselves against it otherwise they dont stand a chance.Did allah hide ibrahim away from society?or Noah?or maryam with jesus?No no weve forgotten allah has put is amongst non muslims for a reason not tobhide away .ypu can not hide away from life and whatvallah has ordained.this is a kufr disbelieve.part of our faith is to struggle always amongst disbelievers .maybe thats allahs way of spreading islam.how can youbspread islam if ypu segregate from society?are you defenying allahs will to put you in a non muslim country or town?we say we are muslims but as soon as anythings hard we want to make it easy by hiding away.That will not solve the problem.

    This is a good intentions lecture. However, the reality is that so called Islamic schools are not all good. Maybe he is just referring to public schools in the USA.
    I live in an Islamic Arab country. The government schools are very bad. I put my kids in a private Islamic school. The Islamic studies teacher showed the 2nd graders a youtube video of hellfire. Yes, my daughter was traumatized and couldn't sleep for months. I put my kids in an American school. My kids were academically better there and emotionally safe. I just had to teach them myself the religion and to differentiate between right and wrong.
    Ideally, yes we should put our children in Islamic Arabic schools, but the reality is that we don't have good schools, not even in the Islamic countries unfortunately.
    We do our best and pray the Allah will protect and guide them.

  • @imranq9241
    @imranq9241 Před 3 lety +10

    While this message is well intentioned, it paints a very broad brush against all public schools without citing any evidence. As far as we know, brain development is really accelerated before 22years old, so it's really critical to get it right. Islamic schools are.good, but they are not competitive yet in general. Public schools can be competitive but operate without any moral development. However, public schools are also where non Muslims learn about Islam outside of a mainstream media that paints Muslims as terrorists. If all Muslims went to Islamic school, we lose an opportunity to express the beauty of Islam at younger ages. What's needed are both strong Muslim teachers to bring excellent academic standards with an Islamic curriculum, and also students who can stand up for their faith in a secular environment.

    • @corielake828
      @corielake828 Před 2 lety +9

      You make valid points brother. Sheikh is saying our children need to know basics (language, math,science). We shouldn't worry about them being academically competitive if our kids ahqlaq, Deen or Iman are even slightly at risk.
      What's the point of earning top marks if our kids end up placing importance on things above their own creator or Deen?
      Again, having Muslims kids represent and influence in non Muslim schools shouldn't come at the expense of our children.
      Spreading the message is wonderful, but we must first establish and nurture our own home before we start sweeping the streets.

      Kids do NOT want to be the only one standing out(let's say a Hijabi) and shoulder responsibilities of representing an entire religion. When I was younger, I was 1 of 4 Muslims in my entire school. All the other Muslim kids compromised their religions to be "accepted" amongst their classmates. That was a lot of pressure on me. If I told people what Muslims do different, they would say " your Muslim friend so and so doesn't do that". I would be peer pressured to do haraam. All I know is if Allah blesses me with kids, I'm sending them to Islamic school inshallah.

    GROSS abuse of the young people, just as you say. No trust for their critical and creative capacity. Arts disciplines are stifled. Humanities studies are hemmed in, kept within perimeters comfortable for the professional classes. World history is a joke at the school where I work, which is dominated by ARMY ROTC criteria. It is believed by the faculty that military crap is the best way for these young people to learn discipline. But what they are being taught is acceptance of the criminal policies of the dunya (sp?). The walls of the math quadrant at this school are decorated with the names of famous mathematicians. The most notable exclusions are all Arab and Persian mathematicians. The same is true in the science quarter. Obviously this is not a widespread practice (yet). But that is where these Babylonian tyrants are headed, and I am grateful for the Imam, may Allah be pleased with him, who keeps it real, always, always.

  • @AbdulBasith2304
    @AbdulBasith2304 Před 3 lety +6

    In Islam, women must stay in home and can go out for their needs. Khathija RA wasn't a right example because she didn't go out to work. She operated her business from home after being widowed twice and needed to support her children. She employed men to trade on her behalf. She focused on raising her children and we glorify her for not being a rich woman, but for being a great wife and mother.
    Many women today are materialists and westernized. They desire to be men 2.0 by having a career. They are following disbelieving women, not great women of Islam. They don't know Islam and don't raise their children well. Such women are failing this community. Pure fitnah. All scholars should be talking about it and bring the Muslim women back on track.
