Rahul Dravid proved again that he is a great finisher with his intelligent, agressive & classy knock.... Young Irfan Pathan was really a good swing bowler in his early days, but don't know what happened to him after 2006. Micheal Bevan was Australia's best finisher and he fought well even during his final days of his career.... A good match to remember with full of good quality players except Rohan Gavaskar, who got into the team with nothing to remember...!! Still can't understand how Rohan Gavaskar earned his place in that strong Indian batting lineup....!!

Even Shoaib Akhtar in the second half of his career had average speed of 144-148 kmph. Make no mistakee, 148 kmph is still ge uine fast bowling. But it shows that speeds of 155+ KMPH cant be sustainable. Fast bowlers are most vulnerable to sports related injuries in Cricket.
Sorry to say but you if see the scorecard of this triangular series most of the matches India lost by close margin. And Some wrost decisions made by Dada as sometime he promotes L Balaji as opener or I Pathan . Sachin and Sehwag playing in middle order. Team was good but not maintained well or else we would have won this series.
Indian cricket has so many captaincy eras. But Dada's era was important one, where Team started to show aggressiveness. Dhoni's era and Kohli's era are just follow ups of the Dada's root.
Those days , when we would won the single match against Australia , feeling like we won the world cup...
