Let's talk about motivational content

- Our news feeds are full of motivational content. Some find it useful and some find it annoying. But there are threads linking much of it to religion, political doctrine, and even patriarchy. So let's talk about some of those threads and see how some of the more popular motivational "gurus" feed this beast.

Some months back I saw Chetan Bhagat's motivational speech on some female related topics. One of the female candidates said, " my parents are saying do a job for one year and we will get you married and settle down clearly her question was she didn't want to get married at this point or maybe she had other plans." To which Chetan Bhagat replied for men it is marriage and career but women why is it marriage or career. Didn't Chetan Bhagat understand why many women are against marriage and settling down but men want to get married. The simple reason is that after marriage in most Indian households they have to act as a submissive character that can't have the voice of their own. Women are forced to leave their jobs and careers.

When I come across any motivational reel on insta, I just swipe in 0.000002 sec. I actually get demotivated by seeing those videos.

Money is a man made and abstract concept while pain, hunger and suffering etc are very real parts of some people's lives.

You do produce nice content. This content wasnt up to that. It felt like it is a reaction video. Discussion was going from one to another in very disconnected manner. May be if there was a planned flow. Like 1. how does the industry work 2. why do people get attracted. 3. which ppl are more susceptible 4. research on this topic...etc.Just an idea
