- It is ILLEGAL to Own THIS Silver Coin and You Can be Thrown In JAIL if Caught discusses various types of silver coins people collect, but in particular, one of the coins featured in this video is illegal to own in many countries. Spectres, the company who manufactured this coin along with many other popular coins lately (like the revolver sold on BullionExchanges) created the "Knuckle Duster" coin, also known as brass knuckles. The company sent me this collectible silver coin to review and during the review process, I let the makers know my honest feedback. In my conversation with the company, I was informed that some of the reasons I "dinged" this coin for turned out to be for legal purposes. In fact, even tiny replicas of these types of items are illegal in some countries!

Brass knuckles are illegal in some states. Customs officials are notoriously dumb about things, and some overzealous agent itching to catch an illegal weapons bust would/could flag them as a weapon. Even if they would only fit on a 3 y.o. and remind me to never, never go to Singapore.

The knuckles are so small, about only ones that could use them are someone with really small hands, where if their hands are that small, they may be needed.
I find it odd that in Alaska you can carry a concealed pistol on your person without any kind of permit however knuckle dusters are legal to possess but illegal to carry on your person. I can't cast and sell usually about 4 to 6 dusters a month, out of aluminum copper and brass.
Can’t have little Johnny on the elementary school playground using Prohibition-themed silver knuckle dusters to intimidate others into giving him their lunch money. Those gangster statues are cool AF! I do like the knuckle duster coin, lots of cool details on the piece. I can see your point about the design choice with the beer filling in the holes, but I kinda dig it. I give it an 8.7/10 on the Turd Appreciation Scale.

Absolutely beautiful. Ive always wanted a custom antiqued set of silver knuckles. I live downtown and would rather be able to definitely myself when it comes to multiple attackers. Its BS that knuckles are illegal when they're a less lethal option for people.
Id love to own that coin though, but cant really afford to collect right now.
The four holes look like beer with foam on top.
The filled hole would look better as jeg barrel tops. The beer look distracts from the piece.
I have to laugh… those brass holes would fit my hand…..lol

I think it’s a Great looking coin, I understand the idea of not having the holes but imagine some opals or gemstones in the holes or maybe make the holes have the name or initials of the character or the years of their reign
But they're not brass knuckles, they're silver knuckles, maybe you can get by on that technicality?

Those statues are a cool idea, nice work on them too the detail and design sick. With the coin it’s to bad they couldn’t have the holes in it or, filled with something better then what was in them, like maybe finger tips, cool idea though.
