I noticed you didn't check your oil clearance with plastigage on the crank main cap/rod journals. Did you do this between takes, or just didn't bother? I'm about start rebuilding my 3.0 V6 out of my Ranger Splash, and was wondering how "required" these checks are. I'll be reusing the old rods & crank, but will have new bearings.

I just have a little noise coming from 1 cylinder. Outside of that, its all good. I'm coming from air cooled cars so I'm not sure if this is common to this truck. Thanks in advance.

Great vid I just redid my b2200 .. I forgot to redo the cam seal gasket (round piece) rear of engine. Don't wanna pull the head off Though . Can I do it while engine in the truck.

That weird moan the water pump seems to be making kinda sounds like the timing belt rubbing that plastic cover down below. I've seen it happen on a few buddies' Hondas when they overtighten something or the cover's warped from sitting out in their yard for a day or two while we're building it lol. Good work though bud! Covered the details that matter.
im currently planning to build a 1988 drift truck. do you think theres anyway to get these little engines to pump out 150-200hp? also where could i get specialized parts for an 88? such as lightweight pistons flywheel etc. id like to have this project done around december and around 3grand
it seems like the wqater pump bearings are no good no more should replace the pump before it messes up but for using an ebay kit and doin things aginst the book it turned out like a new car! well done! nd what a coincidence my honda civic had 90 PSI also on piston number 4 and it was also due to messed up valve guides and seals

After you install engine how do you prime it? I read that you need to prime the oil and gas before the first start.

When installing timing belt should the crankshaft be lined up with a mark too
Oh yes. Head should be at "1" or "A" depending on year and crank mark should be at 12 o'clock tdc

Never did any of that on mine. Started right up after I put oil in. Proly wouldn't hurt to put some gas in the carb tho
