    Thanks for your time. I was at a mechanic and he was trying to make it sound so difficult. I see that IT IS difficult but he made it sound like he had to rebuild the engine. I’m going to show him your video and then see if he will reduce his price since it’s not as difficult as he made it. Thanks again. My Respect to You. Funk

    i would recomend placing towels in the holes in the head in the oil return holes. because the lifter can fall out when you remove the rocker rails and they will go right in the oil pan.i have one in mine right now. going to retrieve it when i change crank berings.

    • @PDillz
      @PDillz Před 7 lety

      I learned the hard way. It's not the same way at all. Valves are non adjustable.

    How tight dose
    The valve cover bolts need to be ?

    • @earthscraper69
      @earthscraper69  Před 6 lety

      +Javi Court not very tight there's no pressure in it so finger right then one to one and a half turns more.

    i also have a b2200 that im working on, and the last time it was running it was burning a lot of oil smoke screening the drive way, what would your opinion on what is going on, i beleive it might be a bad head gasket but im not 100% sure

    • @earthscraper69
      @earthscraper69  Před 8 lety

      +Ricer Mazda B2200 that's possible but also could be needing rings that is probably my problem as well

      2600 models have the 2.6l. They have 12 valves instead of 8, but the hydraulic lash adjusters are the same part.

  • @denk25143
    @denk25143 Před 4 lety

    i wish you could have shown me when you put your valve cover on either i did not tighten to tight or something oil leaks everywhere through the valve cover corner gasket

    • @earthscraper69
      @earthscraper69  Před 4 lety +1

      Oh I'm sorry but they are not to be tightened very tight start from the middle and work out to the ends but just lightly like your holding it down with your hand.

    • @denk25143
      @denk25143 Před 4 lety

      ok thanks for the fast reply lol excellent customer service also i found that i should use silicone in the corners where it goes up and over the camshaft .

    Did you use a fuel pressure regulator for the Weber. I've heard you need one. Then I've heard you don't. Keep up the good work.

    • @earthscraper69
      @earthscraper69  Před 8 lety

      +Booksince72 no I did not if you order the webber for your application then it comes pre regulated and reddy to install.
