Thanks for your time. I was at a mechanic and he was trying to make it sound so difficult. I see that IT IS difficult but he made it sound like he had to rebuild the engine. I’m going to show him your video and then see if he will reduce his price since it’s not as difficult as he made it. Thanks again. My Respect to You. Funk
i would recomend placing towels in the holes in the head in the oil return holes. because the lifter can fall out when you remove the rocker rails and they will go right in the oil pan.i have one in mine right now. going to retrieve it when i change crank berings.
you are going to have a party but we are not there we are here on youtube watching you enjoy those delicious ribs ummmm good lol great videos and yes i am a subscriber and i own a Mazda b2200 1989 so please keep umm coming I'm learning a lot from you and I miss Mazda joe may he rest in piece
i also have a b2200 that im working on, and the last time it was running it was burning a lot of oil smoke screening the drive way, what would your opinion on what is going on, i beleive it might be a bad head gasket but im not 100% sure
i wish you could have shown me when you put your valve cover on either i did not tighten to tight or something oil leaks everywhere through the valve cover corner gasket
Oh I'm sorry but they are not to be tightened very tight start from the middle and work out to the ends but just lightly like your holding it down with your hand.
ok thanks for the fast reply lol excellent customer service also i found that i should use silicone in the corners where it goes up and over the camshaft .
I’m stuck here working on mines !!does the bolt to the tension pulley loosen to right or left can’t even get it to move don’t want to strip it out!😤😤😂😂any help?

+skulledmonte84 ah on and that you
How long did the process take you from here to putting it all back together?
Hey I have a 86 b2000 se-5 how do I know if I have hydraulic lifters or mechanical lifters?
you are going to have a party but we are not there we are here on youtube watching you enjoy those delicious ribs ummmm good lol great videos and yes i am a subscriber and i own a Mazda b2200 1989 so please keep umm coming I'm learning a lot from you and I miss Mazda joe may he rest in piece
Thank you for Subscribing and yes may rest in peace
Hey Lawrence Duarte, Is this the same method for the mazda b2600?
+Philip Myer I'm not completely sure
I learned the hard way. It's not the same way at all. Valves are non adjustable.
How tight dose
The valve cover bolts need to be ?
+Javi Court not very tight there's no pressure in it so finger right then one to one and a half turns more.
Did you soak your lifters first before installing?
No
i also have a b2200 that im working on, and the last time it was running it was burning a lot of oil smoke screening the drive way, what would your opinion on what is going on, i beleive it might be a bad head gasket but im not 100% sure
+Ricer Mazda B2200 that's possible but also could be needing rings that is probably my problem as well
I'd try valve stem seals man if your blowing blue smoke...
+Isaac Barton its white smoke
+Lawrence Duarte ok ill check the pistons out once i get the head off gota get the header and the intake off first ill keep ya up dated
white smoke is blown head gasket
sound great man would like to meet you some day
+jorge torres thank you and that would be cool we may see each other at a show sometime.
+Lawrence Duarte we would
Does this get rid of the ticking noise?
+Jeff Quinones it did on mine
Should this be similar for a 91 b2600i se-5
Im not sure
Lawrence Duarte thanks for the quick reply bud!!
2600 models have the 2.6l. They have 12 valves instead of 8, but the hydraulic lash adjusters are the same part.

Yes that's also a good idea glad I could help
Did you use a fuel pressure regulator for the Weber. I've heard you need one. Then I've heard you don't. Keep up the good work.
+Booksince72 no I did not if you order the webber for your application then it comes pre regulated and reddy to install.
Ok,thanks. It's going on a truck identical to yours. '89 Mazda B2200. I've had it since 1994.Never getting rid of it!!!
Good job on removing the bolt. Usually the EZ out breaks and then you're in a world of shit. Did you replace the bolt?
Lots of finger crossing and/ or cussing! Great job getting it out! Good progress!!
+Cooll Asice yeah I have a box of b2200 bolts from the 2 I've and over the years :)
+Twizted1 lol yes indeed and thank you.
Hahaha that's the feeling i get when i remove the broken head bolts from the land rover or from the BMW lol
I’m stuck here working on mines !!does the bolt to the tension pulley loosen to right or left can’t even get it to move don’t want to strip it out!😤😤😂😂any help?
