Please don’t compare yourself. I’ve said this to someone before but although Emily is really motivated and a great mum she’s very lucky to have Matt on hand to help as they are both self employed they have flexible hours, plus a cleaner and they’re financially stable all of this must really help. I’m lucky to have a lovely home, gorgeous kids and helpful husband but I work nights, he works long hours and I have a son who has significant learning delays so it can get tiring and stressful at times. Life just isn’t as simple as this for a lot of people. So as much as I love watching I don’t compare myself any more. X
Me to Jasmin I wish with all my strength I could be half as good I feel like iam wasting my life worrying and trying to be better that it makes me worse. Even my poor dogs are suffering because I don’t take them out lately x
I changed my routine recently. Previously I had always worn my pjs to breakfast, but made my daughter get dressed before she ate to have one less thing to do before she goes to school. Now if I can I get up 10-15 min before her and get dressed and eat my breakfast/skincare etc before she gets up. That works for me because I don't do a lot for skincare and makeup, just the basics so it works well. I have done it for the last week and it really seems to get things going!

I really like to watch your videos and I'm impressed how well organised you are. We just got our third baby so I get a lot of inspiration from you on running a household of 5... However, I do think that your kids are allowed a lot of screen time. Maybe we are unusual, but our boys at 5 and 3 y.o. are allowed 30 minutes of screens a day, and never during meals. We may have to change this approach when the baby starts to be more demanding though... And I must admit that often I feel like we don't do ourselves a favor this way, since the boys can get really hyper at times and it could save us a lot of stress and tensions if we allowed more screens to have some peace and quiet... I think that I'm more liberal here, but my husband is very strict on this and he never allows them any screens when he's with them. I was just wondering if you had some thoughts on the screen time in your family - do you think it's average and harmless or you would like to reduce it?

I started watching you when I was struggling as a new mom and now I have 2 amazing boys. One that is nearly 2 1/2 and the other that is 4 months. I just put my 4 month old in front of the tv and said, this is Emily. My 2 1/2 loves watching you and your boys so maybe my 4 month old will as well!
I’m amazed you juggle with the camera on a school morning, it’s the one time I struggle to vlog! Love your new house, how cozy is your family room with that fire and bean bag, love it! I started doing chores with my kids when you did, 9 year old is like Fraser, 5 year old is getting there, so helpful with a newborn. I wish I had chance to put even a bit of makeup on but I have to stay in the kitchen encouraging the kids to eat a bit quicker whilst I pack bags (lunches are always made the night before) and help get everyone dressed and do the girls' hair so I don't have time to make myself look presentable or make the beds until I get home from school.
