Love that you let your boys have sleep over even in the middle of the week. In 10-20 years when looking back on the pandemic, they will remember this more than that weird time when they couldn't see their friends. Creating positive memory for kids is so important. ♥

Fun story about the straw bowls years ago when I only had one child I saw those bowls in the clearance section in the coop so I grabbed the 4 that were there knowing we would have more babies - fast forward 10 years and we now have four boys! I blame the bowls 🤣
I have been so busy with work that I haven't been able to watch your channel in quite a while and I've missed keeping up with your family... it's weird how you can feel close to a family who doesn't know you but I appreciate you sharing parts of your life with us and know that I care and feel like you're a little extension of my family in a way. My children love seeing what your boys are up to when they're around while I watch too. :)
I am a double wear fan too and was also on the hunt for a lighter product. I couldn’t find any that I liked, so I ordered the clear Mac Mixing Medium and add a small pea sized amount to my foundation in the morning and I love it. Perfect fix. Same product and coverage, just lighter and has more slip. It doesn’t change the finish of it at all so doesn’t slide over your face :)
Lovely positive video as always. Our morning routine changed today as primary schools and nurseries opened again in the Netherlands! It's bittersweet though as a mom. I loved having the kids at home, I missed them today and I also totally enjoyed the silence! I hope the situation in the UK is soon good enough to open the schools again! Stay safe x
I don’t wear foundation because I just feel like my face is dirty when I do! I have found a nice tinted moisturizer that I love though. They’re great for light coverage.
I used to use double wear for a couple yrs but was too much work for me, caused breakouts and was expensive. I've now converted to no7 hydraluminous moisture foundation for a couple of yrs now and love it. Stays on all day (with an spf day cream of 30+) and you can make it light or build it up. I get a lot of comments about how glowy I look. X
I empty my dishwasher in the morning while my tea's brewing. 🙂 And I love the snack basket idea, definitely going to steal that for my 8 year old (who asks for snacks constantly!) 😂
Hi Emily, I absolutely love Bare Minerals Barepro foundation it's beautiful. I find that putting my makeup on makes me feel more put together and ready to face the day, it's also a necessary with a toddler who likes to start the day at 5am!
Snack bins are the best. I started this method during our lockdown in the US. Keeps them out the pantry all the time. Kid's are doing a hybrid learning, so I use Snack bins for after-school or the days they are home.

I’ve pinched your snack basket idea from a video a few weeks ago, it’s been brilliant. I’m currently using No7 Protect and Perfect foundation, I find it great coverage and it’s lighter for everyday, once I return to working from the office I’ll switchback to Armani luminous silk. It’s gorgeous, the texture/coverage is gorgeous xx
The estee lauder double wear light is just as good, I used to wear the normal one but now prefer the light version as it is less heavy for daily wear 😊 xx

Emily you might already know this but just incase you don't most of the antibacterial sprays need to be left a couple of minutes before wiping for the antibacterial properties to work. I only found this out recently too. Ps super mum wiping down the trampoline every morning 🥰. Your videos are keeping me sane during lockdown so thankyou xxx

I’m not an avid makeup wearer in the best of times, but I’ve not missed a day wearing Supergoop CC screen tinted spf I’m obsessed! Good coverage and easy to apply with fingers. Every day I wear that, blush, and do brows and I’m ready for zoom.

This has made me more motivated to keep up with a morning routine! We’ve got into a bit of a rut, not wanting to get up early and follow the proper schedule. We just start school work when everyone’s ready but it does cause more stress. Thanks for this! 😁
I swear by the Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation - I talk about it a lot on my channel - it's my favourite foundation because it feels so light, medium-full coverage and it just gives you like an airbrushed glowing finish - it's stunning honestly - my favourite above Estee Lauder, Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Giorgio Armani and even the It Cosmetics CC cream which I also love because it has the spf too but honestly hands down fave is the Dior Forever Skin Glow.
