Hey I’ve went to a professional as well as those ladies and they did a amazing job too. I think that the Claire’s piercing has more of a risk than the professional piercing places.

@@Lifewurfavlylaaa Those "piercers" at Claire's maybe receive 15 to 20 minutes of "training" on how to use the piecing gun, and then they are allowed to pierce someone's ears. Not professional at all, and definitely a risk if you want it to go wrong, because it will. I have 28 piercings, and none were done with a gun, not even my earlobes. Go to the best professional you can find. (Jan Griffiths).

Purity comes from the heart, it isn't always a physical or outward expression. If I were this piercer i would have made sure this girl's heart and mind were on the same page. It's a big decision
it makes me really upset that they recorded her panic attack, panic attacks are terrifying and you’re really vulnerable in that state, i’d be mortified if someone recorded me having one.

They're called Gadges. Typically the average ear piece hole size is 16-14; for your normal earrings. The lower the number, the bigger the expansion of the hole. I can wear up to a 6 & 4.

I got my belly button pierced when I was 26. I asked the piercer if it hurt and she said “have you ever stubbed your toe?” I said “Yea”. And she said, “It hurts way less than that.” She was right.

For some people it hurts a lot more, bc some peoples skin is thicker or thinner.

I have had my belly button pierced (I let it close almost 2 decades ago) and it does hurt a little bit. There is a bit more meat for the needle to pierce, but overall, I'd take a thousand piercings over giving birth again 😂

Used to be a temp in a tattoo shop and to be truthful I have seen worse reactions... People collapse at the sight of the needle,I mean I've seen grown men looking like the hulk faint at the sight of them so I'd say they did pretty well 🤣
I was with my friend when she got a belly button piercing and she said it didn't hurt at all. Based on what I have heard and seen, people's experiences of navel piercings vary wildly - and until you get it, you don't know which you are going to be. So I'm not going to throw shade at Rosanna for finding it painful.

She handled the two girls so well, I'm so glad to see that. I was thinking a helix for an easy to hide piercing..or a rook or conch...daith as well. I'm glad to see it as a helix - something easier. I think a belly piercing wasn't a bad idea t all...since they don't wear jeans that would wind up in the way, or rubbing. I like it. I'm glad they got it done and had someone there to help them through it.

Aw the person doing it was so nice! I remember I got my ears pierced for the first time when I turned 10 and I was so nervous! I used to be so scared of needles, then one time when I was like 13 or 14 I had to go to the hospital, and they stuck so many needles in my arms they felt like they were going to fall off! But after that I wasn't so scared anymore and I'm actually studying to be a nurse! Funny how things work like that. Just a reminder that it's okay to be worried, and piercings actually don't hurt too much, it's just a little pinch normally like for me it was just the fear.💙✨

Okay so these girls did amazing for a first time!! I have 15 piercings and I almost cried getting my lobe done a year ago 🤣 you develop a level of tolerance to the pain after a while. It even becomes a satisfying feeling. To anyone looking at getting pierced for the first time, do it! It’s such a short pain. Just take a sugary drink and eat before and I promise you’ll be fine!
As someone who grew up around Amish but has multiple piercings/tattoos. The piercer did a very good job and so did the girls!

Really?? I've had it done 3 times and it was the absolute least painful piercing ever. I've had nipples done twice, vertical labret done twice, nose once .. those were way worse in comparison.
I had mine done when I was 28 didn’t hurt a bit and when my daughter was 16 I took her to have hers done by same piercer and hers never hurt x
She's a trooper for going with a belly piercing as her first piercing ever! My ears were gauged and I still count the belly piercing as more painful!

I remember in 1978 when I got my navel pierced (I still have it, and never had a problem with it). I watched the whole procedure with interest, and it didn't hurt at all. My piercing was done at The Gauntlet in Los Angeles, CA by Jim Ward himself. I still have over a half inch of skin between the holes, and it was done with a ring. All piercings were done that way back then. I now wear banana belly bars like everyone else. I still do have the original ring too though. Body piercing has come a long way since then, and for the better. (Jan Griffiths).

The mark of the beast is something that you can't buy or sell with. It makes no sense it would just be a regular tattoo.
I think is the other way around. You need to have the mark in order to buy and sell.

They’re different people… everyone’s pain tolerance is different and people react differently to pain.
It also depends on the person pain’s tolerance : I’ve been told by people with a helix that the pain was a 8, but when I did it, it was not even a 4
I got my helix pieced at 11 then got my belly pierced at 14, the pain wasn’t TOO bad but it still hurt.

I’m so happy to see this because I watched the video where they left for Florida but didn’t have I.D to fly and I was hoping they didn’t have to go home. Fancy suggesting a labia piercing to an Amish girl who has never had a piercing! 🤣. These girls are much more head strong than they know. It must be really difficult to go out into the world and do things they’ve always been told are evil and they will go to hell for. Essentially brainwashed from birth. Inexperience of taking risk really messed with her head, the unknowing of what, when, how’s and her definite fear of the idea and consequences really was heightened..
Oh yeah. That’s something they cover as an important step in childhood development. Letting kids experience risk in a controlled way so they don’t have as much anxiety growing up. We can’t be told how every step in our lives will be so that’s why having overprotective parents leads to having anxiety disorders

Makes me giggle. I did my own back moons ago before we had the piercing guns. Did mine w an ice cube on both sides to freeze abit. All we had then was thread- we had to pull thread back & forth so the holes didn't close up. Used rubbing alcohol to clean- that burned for awhile! It was MAJOR accomplishment to finally put in a pair of wires. Then I did other girls- one passed out. GRT memories. Cool @ the time- all we had

@@yep.1106 Seriously, I got my ear Piercings all young and 2 got infected and closed and 2 got Keloids - 1 Keloid is pretty big and awful looking with no hole and the other is small w a hole but it provides less room for the earring back. If I could go back, I would've gotten them done with a needle or not at all.

I laughed myself to tears..! I just found this randomly...these girls are adorable...i remember the Amish from Pennsylvania when I was a kid in the 70s...i wish I had talked to them more..they seem so sweet.
Piercings are also something that is a right of passage. You don't need it but it isn't something to be afraid of. But panic attacks are no joke. They can be rough. Like you're dying.
Before I got my eyebrow pierced, I had 10 other piercings and 3 tattoos (one of which required multiples sessions). I still was still a little scared and got light-headed and almost passed out. Marianne did amazing and Rosanna also did great!

I cried a lot getting my ears periced and the guy was in shock how much blood there was. I have realy thick earlobes and it was hard to get the needle through. He was very patient and my boyfriend was there conforting me the whole time. It can be painful for some people. I think they did great!
