I find it quite unbelievable that 2 people have unsubscribed a video where I show concern for a fellow human being after being shot. I take no political sides, just concern. If they are of that mind then I’m happy they no longer are associated with the channel. Should anyone condone the violence of the incident or claim it to be staged or fake I shall remove the comments and will consider banning from the channel. Whoever and whatever he is, he’s still a human being standing to serve his country and does not deserve to be shot nor shot at.

Just sorry this dreadful thing occurred on my grand daughter’s birthday. She suffers from Long Covid, but will always remember this awful day (actually Sunday 14th here). Glad they got the culprit - this time! But very sorry for the others caught up in this mess.
Its the polarisation of society, we can thank the media, social media (twitter) and politicians for that. People have forgotten that life is all about compromise and learning to agree to disagree at times.

CZcamsr Jared Polin has 2 videos profiling the photographers who recorded the event. They are remarkable, brave journalists. When other photographers ran away, they ran closer to record the event.

The citizens of this country should decide who is the next president at the polls, not at the trigger of a gun (regardless of which candidate you support)."

No one should object to any of your sentiments, and you are clearly a man of conviction, but we are not living in rational times in the US, politically, and I would caution you to avoid any political commentary, at any level, if you can possibly avoid it.

I wholeheartedly agree! As an Englishman currently in Singapore I have no direct stake in US politics but political assassination to thwart electoral processes is reprehensible and unequivocally wrong. Regardless of who it is. Sadly it was entirely predictable as the political culture in the US and Europe is toxic, on almost all sides. Words have consequences and when we dehumanize others, turn them into monsters and turn politics into struggles between good and evil then it should be no surprise that some turn to violence. Deeply worrying. I actually see this as being an extension of your recent video asking about when did people stop being nice to eachother.

I’m actually more appalled at some of the comments which came out after my video was made expressing regret or contempt that the assassination was unsuccessful. This is a human being standing for office to serve their country first of all but secondly it wasn’t ‘unsuccessful’ in that it killed an innocent civilian who’s final actions were to put themselves in danger to protect their family and also critically injured two others. What sort of world do we live in? I recently voted for the reform party in the UK elections, my candidate was unsuccessful, that’s democracy, and now someone with different political beliefs holds the seat, I accept that and will encourage them to do the best they can for my community, I would never contemplate either causing or encouraging harm to my MP. Yet on another social media channel I was called a moron and told I deserved a “good kicking” when someone found out who I voted for.
