I have now started to feel bad for him. This is what happened to my father when he started showing serious signs of Alzheimer’s. This isn’t normal aging. You simply can’t lie to the public like that. People will become apathetic towards the system.
My grandfather was 86 when he died, and his sister was 92 when I met her. I promise you there was NO comparison with Biden, so it's not all just age, there is pathology involved.

My great grandpa lived by himself until he was 101 and had his own farm and drove a mini van and played computer games. He dropped out of school in seventh grade to sell apples during the great depression and became a union coal worker for fifty years until he got his pension. He was nothing like Biden.
I am open to Biden having mental decline due to time as well as stress but it may be better for him to call it a career letting someone else run for the upcoming election. There is no shame for him to say he cannot continue.

I have now started to feel bad for him. First, although this point doesn’t necessarily apply to Joe Biden, many older people can’t afford to retire at 65. The economy has become so difficult that many continue needing an income to support themselves and their families far past retirement age.
In addition, there are many people that can function well in a job beyond the age of 65. It really depends on the job and the person. Just because one person you work with that is older struggles doesn’t mean that is true across the board.
