The last fast movie I watched was the one where they drove the bank bolts through the city. I watched this one on family vacation and i regret it. It went from street racing to heist movies and now over the top action movies. Ludachrisâs character was just a street guy and now heâs some kind of math expert and hand to hand combatant.

I feel ya, it feels like itâs a different franchise at this point, hell, almost all the characters are different from when they first debuted, in the first movie Dom didnât talk about family, sure, he had his team, but even then he admitted it didnât matter to him when racing, Roman used to be a bit of a tough guy with an authority problem and a smart mouth, but became a dumb fast talker in the later movies, hell, he became dumber as the movies went on, Tej as you said was just a mechanic, but all of a sudden he became a hacker, hell, even the Rockâs character changed for the worse and became softer ever since Fast 7, and heâs not as old as the original characters

Apparently all the main actors had stipulations in their contracts that their characters couldn't die.
