Joe: I really like Vin Diesel, he's gamer. a D&D player.
Other Joe: He's a dancer!
I am not sure why, but the more i read this, the more i kept beginning to laugh again. I can hear it said in a certain way in my head and see him dancing
So was Van Damme...
So was Tupac, the fake gangsta shit didn't end well for him..

Furya has been announced
ALuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
We wonât be getting Furya for a while yet, although he announced the Script a while back he has just been busy with Bloodshot and F&F9
Agreed, Pitch Black, and the Riddick films were some of Vin's best roles. The character just fits him very well. Even the Fast and the Furious films were lame for the scripts, those were about cars and hotties.
First FF movie plus Tokyo Drift are the only ones that were good, after that they just got stupid.

I played with megan fox
I played with michael jackson once

I played once with Elon Musk, I beat him and he gave me a Tesla.

@Kermit of Rivia you're a douche
Nah man, Joe isn't saying Vin is a bad actor, but the movie was mediocre.
This is a corny version of Hardcore Henry. You want to watch a badass run around killing people with argumented abilities, watch that movie.
Donât Stop Me Now!
Its ok, Jimmy will save you! Just needs to take a bit of a sniff break first
It sounds more like Upgrade, which is apparently pretty good for a low-budget sci-fi action flick.
Or Upgrade
@@Taurusus fuck that film is awesome you need to watch it sometime
Spoiler: it sucked, as expected.
Knew it. The trailers gave it away.
Agreed
Lmao who didnt see this coming.
Well I guess that trailer wasn't false advertising
He didnât say it sucked, it said it was just average.
Damn man, what a shame. I was hoping it would be good. Vin Diesel is one of my favourite action actors. My favourite film with Vin Diesel in has to be Pitch Black. It was brilliant. Chronicles Of Riddick was meh, then Riddick (the one with Johns's Dad in it) redeemed the Riddick franchise for me even, if it doesn't feel original. We need him to do more roles like that. That's my view anyway. Well thanks for the review guys. Have a good day.
Agreed. Honestly I really think that The Last Witch Hunter had potential too. I was really let down with that one because of what it could have been if it had been R rated and if his character had been been a little more gritty in modern day.
@@UponAPaleHorse451 Ooooh I forgot about that!! I saw that recently on Netflix. I really liked the atmosphere and friendly chemistry between Vin and Michael K. However not the best performance by Elijah but it wasn't his worst either. Thanks for reminding me of that film. I'm gonna see if it's still on Netflix.
Vin is a cool guy. I'm glad to see him do something other than fast and fuck physics furious. I just wish it was something better than this.
His best movie is still the iron giant.
He was pretty good in Find Me Guilty
I appreciate your review. I was excited to see this movie. I am a huge Bloodshot fan. I may be passing on this movie. I do have a suggestion for you. Look up NinJak vs The Valiant Universe, on CZcams. Very accurate representation of all of their characters. Their version of Bloodshot was perfect. He starts his carnage at 14 min and 20 sec, into this movie. I hope you enjoy.
Jason David Frank plays Bloodshot, right?
@@TheDUDERulez1 Pretty bad ass interpretation of Bloodshot. The nanites are perfectly displayed in this "beast" of a movie. XO Man O' War is topnotch, as well.

You guys should do a Vin Diesel Movie Retrospective so we can watch Alex have a complete meltdown or just rage quit the review.
Like all the Fast and Furious movies, except the one's without Diesel power
The funniest part of all this is was the way the editor put the angry joe logo over the bloodshot logo to make it say Ploooshot in the thumbnail.
When Alex and Joe gets into the friction of their arguments, you realize you learn more. And then OJ is the delight.
I knew it'd be bad when I saw there was already an "hd" stream for it on Los Movies

Man I love Alexâs facial expressions at the start of these videos , you can tell if he likes or hates the movie by just looking at his expressions
Dave Wilson directed the Love, Death & Robots episode called Sonnie's Edge. He worked for Tim Miller's studio called Blur Studio which is a studio that cinematic and trailers for video games. He worked on The Vision, he elder Scrolls Online, BioShock Infinite, Planetside 2, Star Wars: The Old republic, Mass Effect 2 and Halo Wars. So this is his first live action directing.
What you are on about Joe, the dancing scene (1st one) and the music "Talking Heads - Psycho Killer", is one of the best scenes in the film :P

@Top Dog Lol Rekt.
I remembered that Jason David Frank (The Green Ranger) played Bloodshot in the 2018 web series called: Ninjak vs. the Valiant Universe. I think it's Pretty decent for a low budget serie.
It feels like this movie is like those comic book movies back then that was just a vehicle for someone than for the character and story.
13:18 I actually donât mind when the reviews are long doe
Before I watch I'm guessing my favorite Ninja didn't make a appearance in this movie either huh?
Ninjak?
OHhhh lmfao- Alex looking at Joe in the beginning of the video...He's just waiting,,,,
KT has filters instead of lungs so no inhalents affect her, so she can basically breathe poison in and breathe underwater with no repercussions. It's explicitly stated in the movie.
Wiggins hacked into their comps and took admin control that's why the bad guys wrist control doesn't work, not because he gave kt new lungs. I have to rewatch it.
Guess this wasn't another pitch black~ was hoping for that sort of movie.
That movie is savage
AJ: "one good scene in the whole movie. I guess the director was lucky". That says it all. Thanks for the review guys.
Love all your videos joe, but for some reason, every time I watch your videos, I have to pump the volume up. Thatâs all, just have a great day.
I just wanted to thank you Joe for creating this kind of content where I can just sit back for 30-40 min and focus on the video and not all the stress, worries and now this viral pandemic happening around me.
I never expected this film to be good, nor anything memorable. Vin Diesel was terribly cast, story is cliche, Bloodshot himself looks horrendous, and it makes Dark Horse look so average.
I didn't even know about this movie until... Well until Joe posted this review
AJ: ~sighs~
Me: Oh, no. Was it that bad?!
I had high hopes for Bloodshot - I got into the Valiant universe last year as an alternative to Marvel and DC and really liked Bloodshot. I was excited when I heard about the movie, but I agree with the review that the trailer was far too open about an unknown characters backstory.
Seriously, WHY was he chosen?! Why not Ninjak first? That's Ninja James Bond.
@@ZoanBlade90 I don't know for sure but if I had a guess it was because Vin Diesel could pull off Bloodshot and he was attached to the property from the beginning. It would be cool if the movie introduced Harbinger, or Ninjak in the movie but I'd bet that doesn't happen.
@@MrMulligan84 Or Hell, (and this could only really work if it was done right) use Vin Diesel as The Eternal Warrior instead. You could use that to tell or hint at the story of him and his brothers: Alric (Eternal Warrior), Aram (Archer & Armstrong), and Ivar (Ivar: Time Walker). Or at the very least, have the Bloodshot movie lean more into it's comic book roots. "Many have made bids for Bloodshot's secrets, including the Harada Corporation and Project Rising Spirit."
@@MrMulligan84 They are working on a Harbinger movie as we speak.
Haha i knew that when i saw the trailer. They basically showed the plottwist or a twist in the trailer. So stupid
Props to AngryJoeShow for taking cool shirts and still telling the truth.
I have several (well more than several) guilty movie pleasures. Vin Diesel makes frequent appearances (I enjoy his 2015 movie,The Last Witch Hunter...shh) on my list. I had not even heard of Bloodshot (or the Valiant comic) until one week ago. However, I would give this movie a look if/when it streams.
Vin Diesel is slowly becoming the Adam Sandler of action movies
The Harbinger youâve never heard of Steven Seagal
Dont.... dont give me hope
watched this last week and totally forgot i did : P just watch the trailer
Random question, does anyone remember which movie review it was when Other Joe started talking about how sexy and buff one of the actors was in the movie? I was thinking it was the Tarzan review but I can't remember
Wait, they finally made a comic adaptation of one of the top Valiant characters and they fucked it up? By the fucking gods that cant even fuck anymore...aka FOR FUCKS SAKES. *smfh * R.I.P. entertainment and humanity across the board.
Underwhelming because it wasn't rated R
No chalk white skin. Heals too fast with eating PROTEIN.
In comics. Bloodshot has eaten people so he can heal.
Yup, & the title should've been Fast and Furious presents Bloodshot
You guys kinda crossed over into spoilers without warning around 15 or so.
@Bryan birdchest Callen Did I sound like I was crying? They are critics and just pointing out a no no. I very rarely take their movie criticisms very serious since they have very different tastes than me with movies.
No one has heard of David S.F. Wilson because this is his directorial debut. His background is special effects. It was originally supposed to be directed by Chad Stahelski and David Letich, the duo who directed John Wick, but they dropped out and somehow Wilson got the directing gig.
I may be biased because they were such a strong influence on my college years, but Vin Diesel was great in the Riddick series. From Pitch Black to Riddick.
*When You Guys were Talking About Test Audiences* it really made me wonder - How Many Bad Movies have originally had the makings of Great Movie Ruined - because The Test Audience either Didnât get it.. or Didnât like It - Weâve seen it with I am Legend so đ€·ââïž maybe some terrible movies were good once upon a time
I mad they did bloodshot like this he is actually a dope character in the comics
Eiza Gonzalez isn't that young. She just turned 30. Vin Diesel is still 23 years older than her. She was also Jason Statham's love interest (I guess it was only briefly) in Hobbs and Shaw, and Statham is only 8 days younger than Diesel (both are born in July 1967).
I was hoping this would be a under the radar good movie too. I'll be going to view it anyways despite the lukewarm review. I wasn't expecting Shakespeare, but I want to support Diesel, I like Pearce usually, & nano-technology is scary interesting. I had this movie & 'The Hunt' planned for this weekend.
Shame the first Valiant movie didnât make a huge impact.
Robocop: Soldier Edition.
SIR! Soldier was actually a good movie!

So an EMP wouldn't do anything to the small machines inside him?

I think you guys went into the theater with the premise you were going to get a "Marvel-like Movie" experience and really expected too much. I went into it with no expectations and really had a blast. You guys really suck at movie reviews. Stick to what you do best: Video games, and leave the reviews to people who actually KNOW how to review a film.

The Furious movies are all I can think of that has Vin Diesel, and I stopped at the first one. Just found out about this movie like 2 days ago. His best performance is getting sniped in Saving Private Ryan.
(Bonus points for that bullet through the scope shot)
Vin Diesel's top 4 movies are Saving Private Ryan, Guardians 1, 2, 3, yes Guardians of the Galaxy 3 isn't out, but I guarantee that with be his last good movie, lol
When I worked in 3d, we learned that if the story and acting is good alot will look past the special effects even if its mediocre. But if the story and acting sucks, the special effects gets picked apart.
I got a lot of Hardcore Henry vibes from the trailer, would you compare the two and which would you rather watch?

its sounds like they did a crossover betwin bloodshot and XO manowar because XO like to be in melee range even tho he has range weapons and his main weapon is the sword
The fighting in the elevator shaft looks exactly like Man of Steel.
I enjoyed it. Its a popcorn flick an R rating would have helped it. The TRIO was interesting their motivations are interesting its not avengers endgame but it gets 7.5 in my book. Bought the dvd was a good buy in my opinion. But the CGI elevator fight scene is what kept it from an 8. Didnât see the trailer so maybe that helps
I just come back from seeing it and honestly I enjoyed it! It had all I wanted from it and although the last big battle has indeed poor CGI, I still found the movie entertaining. Maybe because I like SciFi and these kind of visuals and I also like Vin Diesel and Guy Pearce. Now I am not aware of the comic. I hope it has not destroyed the source material!
Got to say. I didn't see the trailer and the mind manipulation twist was pretty satisfying. You could kind of tell that something was off but i didn't straight up call it. Got me a little bit more hooked on the story so.. yea +1 point.
Fun Fact: Eiza Gonzalez (KT) was in the Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs and Shaw, minus Vin Diesel.
One reason why I don't like Vin Diesel in movies:
He acts like he's Dom in every single movie. His facial expressions are angry, confused, or both at the same time. Groot worked because of the CGI faces and cuteness. He is a super cool guy and I loved him growing up but I just have to be honest.
Comicstorian put out a video on Bloodshot: Zero if you want to know how his story is usually written.
It's weird and doesn't lend itself well to the "narrated comic" style that they do, because every detail matters in the comic, I believe. But yeah, it tells you the important notes.
The Director Made Love Death + Robots Sonnies's Edge, your review makes me wonder what happened?
