That tabletop transition was 🔥
Great video! Thanks for that! A video about that POSI switch would be awesome!
Thanks for this. Swapped the stock battery out with a good used one because some cells quit after only 600km! This vid was helpful
Where did you find your battery at?
My pint battery won't accept a charge so I'm looking to do this.
@@crowgoradid u find a battery and did u replace it
I guess you saved my controller connection pins ... Great thanks !!!
Very good instructional!! TY.
Killing it, Fam!
My battery goes from 100 to 85 to needs juice. Should I somehow test it or just replace it? Where can I get a new battery?
Do you know where to find headed insert? Not those you had break, the other on side. I try to find it but noway...
I bought a Plus with a JW+ battery... and it too has a "posi-switch"... A) why does it have this and -- B) How To Replace it -- as mine is failing!... where do you suggest I get a replacement switch?!??! Thanks!
Where are you located?
Do you do this for other people? My JWXR setup just died yesterday. Under 400 miles. Board won't turn on now. 😢
Love the video man! Just subscribed to your channel! I’m still hesitating between a CBXR and a GT! How much range do you get from it and what’s the weight with it?
I realize I’m answering this comment 3 weeks late, but better late than never.
The CBXR will add 1.5 pounds of weight, and give you 32-38 miles cruising range (based on a 200 pound rider in ideal conditions). It also makes the board a little more torquier as well.
@@RTS_2008 HMMMM so I would get about 20-24 with my fat arse I thiink I need to find an older XR, thanks Trent
After the swap do you ride till battery is dead or immediately charge to 100 and then ride?
Immediately charge to 100 then leave it plugged in for an additional 48 hours to help balance the cells, then go ride!
What is the button on your controller cover for?
Power button for the front foot pad its the "posi" mod(ties the two pads together) I had to look this up. This is why there was the cable between the foot pad and controller. It lets bad arse riders like Kyle here pull off their Bitchen tricks.
What to do when 8 out of 10 stud bolts shear off your battery housing?
how did that even happen
Thanks for the advices, realy appreciated - but man! My eyes are hurting! Your cameraman needs to (put on his glasses and) learn how to focus properly. A few more steps in aperture wouldn't hurt also and gives more than an inch of depths in the focus.
That’s not very encouraging that you already have issues with that battery. I have 7000 miles on stock XR battery, no issues.
Do you sell batteries?
How do you know when you have bad cells?
OWCE app works on older controllers shows individual cell voltages
becasue FM dose not want you to know, why ? No clue....
@@inactive67 it's FM
When the board says its empty very early on a ride (and it's not just unbalanced battery pack or faulty bms)
this wont brick the device correct?
Why would he do it if it will brick his board?
Great video. But, why not make it easier to access/ change the battery? Doing this on the side of the road would be irritating, if not aggravating... and risky for screw loss/ dusty insides.. 🤔
In what world would you have to do this on the side of the road 🙄
