I’m glad this could help!
Man, knowing how to tackle LinkedIn is such an important step on our journey. I’m still trying to figure it out.
Great video!

Hey Mike, thanks for posting this video. I'm curious how you created dummy data to show the work had done for an employer. I would love to showcase data projects that I did during my internship but I'm not sure how to create dummy data.
If you're looking for names, business names, etc, there are some tools online that will generate random lists of names. This is really helpful.
For numerical randomness, Excel functions like RAND can take care of this for you. Hope that helps!
Hey matt Mike!! Thanks for the video. Can you make a video on projects!?

Thanks Matt, My profile looks way better!
Awesome! Way to go!

As a Data analyst, what types of project i can show on my linkedin apart from power bi dashboards? Thanks!!
Analysis in SQL and visualization in a BI tool. You might even consider creating a dashboard in Excel to show how savvy you are with it. That’s especially helpful for Business Analyst roles.
But creating a handful for BI dashboards to give a wide scope of your skillset is a good way to go!
👍👍👍
Hey ,
Matt do you get job offer on LinkedIn. Recruiter knock you?
I do occasionally get recruiters reach out and some roles are better than others. I’ve landed jobs through this means, but you also won’t have recruiters lining up in your inbox everyday.
