- The first gameplay trailer for M. Bison was just released for Street Fighter 6. He will be the first new DLC character for season 2. I was blown away by his redesign, which included a lot of cool animated attacks while also keeping it familiar with psycho crush, stomps, and knee presses. His drive rush looks insane, with a lot of anti-projectile specials. The icing on the cake is that he will be releasing right away, near the end of this month, on June 26th.

Capcom not caring about tournaments with regards to and in conjunction with game updates and simply releasing things regardless of tournament dates is so refreshing. It shows to me they are heavily focusing on the games balance and character updates non tournaments which arguably makes up 90% of the playerbase. They aren't letting tournaments dictate their movements finally!
As it should. TOs adapt. Softban the character of it's too close. There are ways to remedy while making the game advance for us.

Bison doesn't teleport anymore, he just DR from one edge of the screen to the other without ever occupying any point of the space in between.
Clearly you are not a Street Fighter 2 player if you are discussing Bison teleport for any reason

@@kriscotd76 i only want like one more character a year than 4. That's one every 2 1/2 months. And then if they slowed down after the roster is a good size and focused on other stuff id be fine with that.

M.Bison is definitely going to be more of a menace this time around especially since he's got his pyscho crusher back as a special move... and his two supers from SF4.
Also his super combo which is his SA1.

Nobody is talking about his disgusting normals and I feel like that's not a point to gloss over. His standing roundhouse, medium kick, and heavy punch are bonkers for neutral tools if you feel like mercifully offering space to your opponent.
Bison’s Throwback Outfit 2 is so nice, he looks as intimidating as he was to me facing him in SF II. Along with Elena, this has got me the hypest about Season 2. The explanation behind Bison’s status will be interesting to find out, but he looks incredibly vicious for 6 👀

Really interested in the World Tour Dialogue. Probably reveals more as to why he looks like this, what's going on with his arm, what he means by "I will take this name for myself" and so on. Love this character

I'm also looking foward to his aracade story, if the explanation of him being alive doesn't come from World Tour then we'll know there.

His animations with the classic costume looks like CvS2 Bison and that’s peak Bison for me. I think he was the most fun to play in CvS2.

looks to me a buffed version of the classic Bison of SF2, which I LOVE, with something grabbed along the road, but finally, no stupid fireballs, no short bubbles, just the good old Psycho Crusher and he is not slow as a rock.

I love how this version of bison feels visually. Bison in older street fighter games felt like a villain, but felt like the kind that relied more on magical power over physical power. Like he would be the kind of villain to just float around and shoot fire balls at you, and teleport out of danger. But this Bison has so much weight behind his animations, and that drive rush? Man if Ryu steps anywhere into this mans line of sight he is going to *bolt* , straight *B-Line* right up to Ryu and beat his ass

Bison looks like he doesn't have any projectiles or that Vskill move where he absorbs the other opponents fireball and throws it back at them in SFV. Still he looks to be hard to deal with all of the new tools he's given.
I don't like that he's back but his gameplay & design look is pretty sick ngl, let's just hope Luke can do a better job taking him down than Ryu(and Nash) did.

About time they take risks and aim to be unique and charismatic.

Yes, this is a 10 out of 10 design, I agree. I love the "villain's comeback" vibe of it, the look alone tells a story, even to people who don't know the character. The horse is a great idea.
Bad thing that they're showing all his stuff with Ed as his punching bag. It does make sense story-wise but the boy already has problems, like not getting any buffs... ^^

Yeah I like his new design so much never expected that to happen. 10/10 I love it much more than his classic. Overall sf6 make a great job at redesigning characters

I think Bison finally has a character to get into. Rather this is the Lily from T Hawk, in Bison's case he is a new man taking Bison's moveset with his own character lore.

Also, arms crossed while riding the horse is kino, I think instead of him being a plus frame machine, he's gonna use the bombs to pressure this time.
I wonder if bison still has his pressure like in V, but I feel he might have some sort of gap with his pressure, if we had a character that just locked you down all day and drained your drive meter that might be too strong. I think he would 1000% should be a tyrant if you are burned out though.
I'm pretty sure the horse is Bisons couch when it comes to his cardio, that's why he can run 60 miles an hour during his drive rush.

SFV Bison was not Bison to me. Despite whatever anyone may think or care about when it comes to tier list and where he was in SFV. It didnt feel like Classic M. Bison, and as a Zangief and M. Bison huge fan, I just couldnt get on board with the overall changes to either of them. I am so happy they decided to bring back the more classic Dictator, unrelenting pressure, your worse villain’s worse villain, M. Bison we all should have grown to love. Seems like a minority of you are still stuck on SFV Bison, sadly, but if you thought he was scary in the last game, with how they are presenting the character now, you aint seen nothing yet. Crazy part though, listening this video while typing, I been watching Vesper for mad long, since SF4, surprised he seems so…unfamiliar…with a lot of what Bison was doing in the gameplay trailer. Dictator is back. With amnesia and a Vengeance.
