This is why we recommend it to every reactor after volume 3. It’s not canon so Pyrrha is alive, you can just sit back and chill and laugh, and it’s very cute! Also it’s made with the new program Maya which they use from volume 4-present. It definitely changes the smoothness of the animation and the style a little bit.
I think Yang would be the best cook of the group. The White Fang was on the road a lot, so I imagine they ate more survival food, Weiss has the help for cooking, but Yang? She mentioned her father shut down after Summer Rose's death, so she probably took care of her sister a lot, including cooking/baking. If Ruby still enjoys cookies so much when she lost her mother so young, someone had to bake those cookies for her.
don't forget the 'ruby' trailer before volume 4 ep1 its a great way to Segway into the new animation style and is canonically just after ruby and JNR leave ruby's home but before episode 1
To put Weiss’s wealth in perspective she is the daughter of the lead of a major industry. Considering how many things dust is used for think Apple or Google as comparisons.

First off I love your reactions: your reaction to Velvet's semblance/weapon and to Weiss finally getting a partial summon was a much needed oasis in the middle of the of sadness and despair that was the end of Volume 3 (I mean Cinder had the power she was after, and as far as she knew there were no witnesses to the battle and she didn't even leave a corpse to install despair, so what was the point of killing Pyrrah?) It is reactors like you that make it so fun to reexperience these moments and appreciate the finer details that may have escaped us the first time around, and you are quickly becoming one of my favorites. Reflecting back on the end of Volume 3 I recall you openly wishing that we could go back to Volume 1, where everything was still a fun adventure and all our friends (and frienemies, RIP Roman) were still with us. In the spirit of this I think that you should react to the anime RWBY: Ice Queendom. After the first couple of episodes, which retell the events of the first volume and the trailers in an abridged yet enjoyable manner, it embarks on a new adventure that takes place between Volumes 1 and 2. I won't spoil what that adventure entails, but it does add new layers to the relationships of the characters that we have come to love and love to hate. Also you should totally do the English dub version, for while the Japanese VAs are quite talented and deserve their props the English version brings in the talents from the original series who are familiar with their characters and know how they are supposed to be like. It truly is something that every RWBY fan should experience and could be a nice way to give you more time to recover from Vol. 3 while psyching you up to catch up to us in Volume 9.

You said you felt Juane was a five year old that needed to be consoled. But actually, Juane was trying to start the game as a strategist. He wanted to win by playing by the rules. It was the rest of the team that turned it into more of a dollhouse. He only joined in once they gave a bit on the original compost idea, and he realized they would all have more fun just goofing off. I think Pyrrha was being very genuine by saying that board games were a good idea, because it let the team have some pure fun together. Playing with dolls or action figures as an adult can actually be really healing, so I think team Juniper was genuinely enjoying their little game.
Yang was top bunk, same as Ruby. also in Jaune deffence Cresent Rose is very heavy. Also unlike everyone else, he never got any true traning. the thing that is great with that is that it show how skill Jaune could be, since ne only got minimal traning from Pyra and he is not as weak as at the start. He is still the weakest but it's not as if he was a liability as in season 1

Ruby's scythe weighs about 60-75 pounds. Jaune should have been able to wield it. But he is also the plucking comic relief so no he couldn't handle it.

Ninjas of Love is actually a callback all the way to volume 1. You see Blake take it out and then immediately look around scared before hiding it while they're decorating their room. She lived among what is, supposedly, a primarily male staffed terrorist organization that was constantly on the move, and lived in tents. Not a lot of privacy for her to take care of those sorts of things, so reading those kinds of books was probably the most she could reliably do for that kind of thing. That, and some people just like it when romance stories offer some sort of... Reward, so to speak, to the readers for making it through all the drama and what not. That said, it had a drop down image of what is most definitely a nude man. That ain't no romance story, that shit is straight up smut, plain as day🤣🤣 Naughty girl, Blake. Naughty naughty girl.

More importantly when we get the follow-up scene of Jaune confessing his actual reasons for liking Weiss to his team. You find out that he *explicitly* likes her for who she actually is on the inside and *doesn't care about the things she assumed he chased her for*
