Always when rewatching that Soul Gem scene at the start I really get the feel that Kyubey is keeping his foot on that gem and torturing Sayaka for a noticeably longer time than really necessary to get his point across. People will excuse him as being unable to comprehend human emotions, but we also know he's a lying manipulative little furball.

How stupid can someone be ? If you tell everybody about this it will bring the grimm and not just the small weak ones this is a fight humanity cant win, you think your the ,,good,, guy bc you would tell everybody about it but you are not the ,,good,, guy you are the one who caused the end of humanity just so that you can feel morally superior. That is why weak minded people like you should never have any position of power bc you would only bring death and destruction over humanity.

Penny landing in front of the Schnee mansion isn't nonsensical, if anything it's the more likely assumption to make that they'd be there if she tried to think where in Atlas they would be. If I was Penny in that situation and my goal was landing on wherever I thought I'd have the biggest chance of finding a friend and the lowest chance of finding Ironwood's man, I'd probably go to the Schnee Manor too.

23:32 One thing that's worth pointing out is Yang's monologue about why she became a Huntress all the way back in Volume 2. She said she never actually wanted to save people and never really cared for being a hero, she just wanted the thrill of adventure and fighting Grimm. Yang's always been a very selfish person deep down, she cares immensely for those closest to her, but she doesn't really care for all else. She focuses all of her strength to herself and that select few, and she thinks of things a lot more personally. That's also why I think she has such a big issue with the Ace Ops and Winter, because she sees it less as a conflict of ideology or choice and more a personal betrayal. And it's why she's the one who always seemed the least interested in going towards (She's one of the first hit by the Apathy, she's the one who's acting as the contrarian to the team in Atlas. Her whole argument with Ruby comes down to this too, as Ruby wanted to help with the big picture and Yang didn't care about it, just wanting to help the people in front of her) Blake on the other hand has always been a very "big picture" kind of person, she's always cared about the Faunus as a whole as someone who was born in the White Fang and she grew to think the masses are bigger than she is (in part thanks to Adam). So it makes a lot of sense Yang would think of specific people and Blake would think of everyone and Atlas as a whole. The issue here is Yang not being worried about Ruby though, on that I entirely agree. My point being, Yang's always been the least altruistic of the cast, and I think her mood getting sourer with each Volume is a reflection of that as the stakes get bigger and bigger and she can't keep up.

7:58 As someone who's felt that way for most of my life, and someone who still think I'm objectively a burden on most people around me, what I've learned is that emotions hold a lot of weight, and they're not easily quantifiable. Sometimes, even if you cause a lot of difficulties and trouble for someone, just you existing in their daily life is already enough to overweight that. Because the simple enjoyment they get out of your casual interactions feels that important to them. That's what I've come to learn with my family at least, who I'm pretty sure I cause far more problems for than help, but still realize that for them, my presence alone makes up for it. So sure, I am a burden, but maybe being a burden doesn't mean that much. Maybe you're allowed to be one. At least that's the conclusion I came to. So while of course I try to be less of a burden as much as I can, I also learned not to beat myself over it that much, since being there for them is already enough repayment for it in their eyes. They're the ones who decide the price of the services they're giving me after all, so if they say I'm worth the trouble then who am I to complain? I think people overlook the value of feelings too much sometimes. Often, a little moment of satisfaction or happiness is worth spending time or taking a risk on. I believe people only act when they have a reason to, but that reason doesn't need to be tangible. "I want to" and "I like doing it" are reasons just as valid as any other, and people often forget that.

Pokemon didn't have a chance. Digimon legitimately scales up to DBZ levels, and there's a LOT of Digimon that reach those levels.

Games have a lot of limitations, but only requirements for Mega Evolution is Key Stone and specific mega stone equipped to the Pokémon. As for movesets… anime Ash Snorlax used six moves against a Frontier Brain and Orange League Champion Drake’s Dragonite had like 11 moves. Anime clearly doesn’t follow game limitations. But Anime Mega Evolution does require enough friendship to actually work, and even then takes even more training to master the form.

So I've only seen up to volume 5 at this time, I've always wondered if Crow was actually Rubys dad. Cause yeah, it's kinda weird that Tai had kids with both the ladies on his team. And clearly Crow has a soft spot for Ruby, training her and stuff.

The tournament was a big let down for me. It could have been awesome, but most fights were either jokes, or clearly unbalanced.

Santheist is more fun to say though :) In terms of books about killing santa claus, I really like the Hogfather by Terry Pratchett! The villain is a dude who's been hired to assassinate Santa and in the process kills the tooth fairy. It's a fun one.

Winter has a Sabre (a cutting sword) a "Swashbuckler sword" is a Cutlass which is a type of Sabre mostly used in the navy, but Winters Sabre more resembles a Calvary Sabre from the Civil War. Wiess on the other hand uses a Rapier, a stabbing sword that was primarily used for 1v1 duels in the 1500s-1800s
