In A Very Potter Musical you would see a lot of familiar faces:
Darren Criss is Harry Potter
Sleezeball (Joey Richter) is Ron
Charlotte (Jaime Lyn Beatty) is Ginny
Jafar (Dylan Saunders) is Dumbledore
Achmed (Joe Walker) is Voldemort
Emma (Lauren Lopez) is Draco
The Captain of the Guard (Jim Povolo) is Goyle
Sherazzade (Meredith Stepien) is Hermione in the 3rd part only.

And just a note about A Very Potter Musical, the video and audio quality isn't great due to it being their first recorded show. The show itself is great, however.

This song was actually from the sequel of A Very Potter Musical and is incredible, Ron is played by Sleazeball / Joey. The girl you loved in Twisted ( Meredith) plays Hermione in a very Potter senior year (which is the 3rd and final) because the original hermione wasn’t there. The original hermione is standing beside Meredith
Just wanted to say if you do end up watching a very potter musical you might want to put subtitles on. The sound is mostly fine but a few lines can get lost under laughter or the music's volume.
Was just coming down to recommend subtitles as well.
Ok just be prepared because AVPM is very different from the books but in a very fun way. It’s so worth it! And like other’s have said the audio and video quality on the first one isn’t great cuz they hadn’t intended to record it they just uploaded it for some family and friends that didn’t get to see the show with no intention of it blowing up the way it did.
So this is for Starkid Homecoming, which was their tenth anniversary concert. I highly recommend you do watch the AVPM series. This song comes from AVPS, the sequel. It's a pretty awesome show!

There are three Potter musicals and you have to watch them in order: A Very Potter Musical, then A Very Potter Sequel, then A Very Potter Senior Year. AVPM went viral and that’s what started Starkid, AVPS was a little later when they decided they were gonna be an actual thing, and then AVPSY was several years later when they decided to wrap up the Potter series.

Thanks for the reaction. This was from Starkid Homecoming which was a concert celebration the 10 year anniversary of Starkid. Mouth Face who had a brief solo verse in this clip was actually playing Rita Skeeter which was very had to tell just watching this clip. And Joey "Sleezeball" Richter played Ron. Jeff's first appearance was in Holy Musical Batman, he graduated from University of Michigan a few years before these people did.

Jeff Blim only joins Starkid in the musical before the final part of the Potter trilogy! He sadly won't be in A Very Potter Musical and Sequel, but he does have a minor role (with a song) in A Very Potter Senior Year. :)
When is it you think you’ll be doing A Very Potter Musical? Also if you do I would maybe suggest using subtitles as it was filmed over 10 years ago and can be quite hard to hear
true, it's recently been avpm's 11th year anniversary haha. seeing as he looks like he liked this performance, i'm pretty sure it's inching closer to the top of his list... well, we can hope :)

I’m so glad you’re a Potter fan, you will love the 3 Very Potter Musicals. They are long (together all 3 are 9 3/4 hours long) but they are amazing. The production quality is not great on the first one, but it’s so good. I’m excited to see you react to them!
wait i'm dying, i was about to go to sleep but then i saw this video premiered... and now i'm reading this comment. all the musicals together are 9 3/4 long?? i never noticed that, woah
edit: so yeah, i calculated how long every video in the trilogy was (including the credits so it's not exact), but i got something like 9.46.45. that's so cool!
M C yeah they really are. I was trying to marathon them one year and wanted to see how long it would take to see all of them and yep. 9 hours and 45ish minutes. 9 and 3/4 hours. Totally coincidence but super funny and appropriate

The very Potter musicals are amazing! What I find so fun about them is how they're all sort of mash ups of more than one HP book
-A Very Potter Musical is a mix of Philosophers Stone and Goblet of Fire(and a bit of deathly hallows)
-A Very Potter Sequel(my favourite of the three and one of my favourite starkid shows) is a mix of Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix
-A Very Potter Senior Year is a mix of Chamber of Secrets and Half Blood Prince
Jeff doesn't show up until the third musical so A Very Potter Senior Year but its amazing!! Also though if you have the funds you should purchase Starkid Homecoming because it's essentially the best of the best from all of their musicals and is super fun! unfortunately, they didn't put it on CZcams for free so maybe just reactions to clips but you can definitely figure out which musical you want to do next from watching it!! Also, you should do Black Friday just because it is a continuation of TGWDLM and its amazing!! I love these reactions so much!
imo it's best to watch hoco after watching the shows to make you see how far they've come and because it feels nostalgic, but anything could work :) i definitely also don't think he should react to the full thing, though. starkid already does so much for us, it'd be selfish of us just to take all their hard work.
M C I think if you grew up on Starkid then yeah watching HOCO is the best way to feel nostalgic again but I think it’s just right to make him interested in other shows and want to figure out how they actually stage those shows. And it’s just a good thing to buy to support Starkid. No full reaction though that’s for sure.
Sadly Jeff & Rachel aren’t in AVPM, they graduated a year Before the musical but it’s still hella funny 🤍

If/When you watch the Potter Musicals, I highly recommend putting the captions on.
While not 100% essential, it helps a lot, given the not so great recording set up they used to have... I think the third is alright, but you might have a bit of trouble making some stuff out in the others.

this song specifically is from their second harry potter musical (a very potter sequel) but i recommend watching them all, they are all great in their own way.

I ordered The homecoming DVD right before the pandemic so I’m still waiting
the musicals are very different from the books, they change and rearrange things a lot but its coz theyre trying to capture as much of it as they can. but i do think youll love it a lot! its a good idea to have subtitles on as theyre not professional shows and they dont have mics, so sometimes theyre a bit hard to hear
