- Pam has no idea why she has woken up in a hotel room with just an odd newspaper cutting in her bag, and an escort from 'Paradise Males' at the door, waiting to party with a six-pack of Tango in his hands. As the pieces of her shattered memory slot back into place, Pam realises she has a deadly decision to make. Starring Diane Morgan as Pam ('Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe', 'Two Episodes of Mash') and Michael Spicer (who also wrote the screenplay) as Paul the rubbish escort, Paradise Males is a blackly comic thriller with an unexpected twist. It's not so much a whodunit, as a 'what-the-hell-is-going-on-here-then'. Directed by Andy Devonshire.

I adore Diane Morgan, I'm so glad she's coming to the forefront of comedy. I bet she'd be great in a serious heavy TV drama series though also.

The acting is great in this, it’s so naturalistic. Been following Spicer but couldn’t believe this was 6 years old

Fuckin British comedy, man. You never know where it's going to take you and when it's going to completely fuck your head up. Even more shocking as I was not expecting something so dark from either Diane or Michael. And that's why I love it. 10/10

The ballistics report will probably prove she couldn't have shot him. Explaining why she left without reporting what happened to the police would be a problem. Still, it was a great black comedy short film.

And the shot probably would be louder, alarming people very quickly?
But all in all a nice and somber little Happenstance meets Clumsy and Forgetful. Liked the irony of Paul killing himself in another accident.
We need first run BBC, et al, programs on free tv broadcast here in the US rather than only the series that were on 20 years ago (or more). Unless it's Benny Hill. Or Rumhold of the Bailey.

Well, this was quite funny in a not laugh out loud way.
I presume Paradise Male's is a rather naively optimistic one man operation and doesn't get much if any repeat customers?
But maybe there's a demand I'm not aware of for the awkward clumsy geek type in male prosti... sorry escorts!
As for the ending, karma meant all she had to do was to get rid of the gun and report a tragic accident!

mmmmmm yeah its a funny one this. theres nothing wrong with any aspect of it, the script is interesting, the acting is good enough, the story is ok. i think its the direction. you come away with a "?" that isnt resolved.
Where was the storyline?
She'd planned to hit the guy who'd caused her husband's death but fainted and suffers from amnesia. The clip was the meeting point where both characters realities collide. He tried to blame the bike but understood her deep loss, and like her husband, she crossed paths with him...this time it ended with his fatality, such a lummox.
I thought it was an interesting story. Maybe something with a car chase would suit you better.
A big fan but, seriously, that has to be the biggest continuity balls up I've ever seen. She 'left' at the end by going into the bathroom she'd literally *just* come out of. 🙄
