What would you do if you thought you were trapped in your house with a stranger?
Screamfest Personally; I’m naturally not trusting. Until my gf introduces me to the guest (picture is a must); they don’t set foot into my residence.
I also don’t drink anything; not prepared by myself, or someone that I trust.
When in doubt; head for the exit.
I guess that I would make a bad, horror movie victim...

The film made my skin crawl it was so creepy. Oftentimes, “true life” type stories are scarier than monster stories, because they could really happen. Well done!!
Monsters one could also really happen..it's not spirits actually but jinns.
Monster stories are just an exaggerated version of true life stories.
Just realised Harvey is the valet who parked her car at the beginning of the film.
I didn't notice that when I first watched but I got who he was from his discarded vest on the bed. I'm going back to watch the start again 😊

I give this film 10/10, brilliant.
Her valet. He's been in her car enough to know the little details about her and then overhear her conversation with her boyfriend.

She literally could have escaped or at least given herself a chance like 80 times. When she went out for a cig, if she felt something was off she could have left, called the police for a welfare check, gone to a neighbor’s. Instead she went back inside, and he let her get away again, and she didn’t lock the door. I mean you just find out this guy isn’t Dylan, he lets you get away to another room, you see your boyfriend dead, and your first thought isn’t to lock the door? I mean this was well acted and produced and all, but come on.
Right? Even before she stepped outside, she could tell something was off about "Dylan."
Red flags were smacking her all over place, but she litteraly ignored them all, went outside, realized Nick's phone was off, saw that "Dylan" had left the kitchen AND turned the lights off.
And what did she do?
Take her ass back inside the house.
Couldn't be me.
I trust my instincts. And the very second that I feel something is off, I'm out.
The person can have my entire house for all I care.
This was such an amazing short film. But I *HATE* seeing characters make stupid decisions.
They probably defunded the police in her city so she was SOL

i mean sure, you can be cautious like that if you know you’re in a horror movie, but living a normal life not doing anything wrong, there is no way you expect a killer coming for you. If you actually manage to escape that house with all of those hints, do you know what normal people will call you? Paranoid.

The woman in this movie did a perfect job acting. She needs to be in more things to watch ;) I honestly don't think the movie would have been as good if she wasn't in it.

Very true. I completely think so as well..and not just cuz she's sexy because for whatever reason I think she's super sexy... I wish I knew her name to see if she plays in any other movies or short films..

I still find it weird that she felt uncomfortable, saw a damn body and didn't lock the door to the room? I'm sorry but the character is just not believable in a potential real life scenario.

Otto Coldbeer - Mental institution would have been more predictable, methinks. shweta baisa’s synopsis was on point, but I agree with you that the valet was unexpected otherwise. I love when I have to go back to watch an earlier scene and notice the relevant clues I missed the first time.
If nothing else, this confirms you should only ever hand over the car key rather than the full set! I liked the song, too.

It wasn’t predicted. It's been done many times before. You've probably seen it done before in other movies or in other TV shows.

After a second watch, I love at the beginning how the camera turns ever so slightly to the right when the Valet guy walks past, then turns to the left to see him in the windows reflection, and back to the right when he drives the car there.

It certainly got the discomfort and unease feeling right and Aimee Carrero did a really great job, naturalistic, real and her suppressed anxiety at the beginning was on the nail. Very watchable.

Loved how organic the dialogue was - and the hints of character background which weren't necessary to the plot but just made it feel more real.
I didn't like "Dylan" from the moment he cut her off to tell her how much more Beautiful than her pics she was! Then the "Isn't this like a 'Meet-Cute'?", & "Yeah..... Nick told me that!", took me right OUT! I was done w/"Dylan"!😅
When that crazy dude talked in past tense I really realized something was wrong. Nick told me he loved you ..... what a dead give away.

Came from corys video! Just to comment that I love how it was set up from the beginning that he listened to her whole conversation 😱
It wasn’t clear why she wasn’t bothered with Dylan’s presence in her own house all alone without her boyfriend until the climax when, we understand that indeed he got the real Dylan’s ID while he was parking her car and most likely hearing all entire conversation between she n her boyfriend.
That’s most common incident nowadays. You never know exactly who you’re dealing with. Seeing this short, jogged my memories to a great deal of medical detectives‘ episode
This was such an amazing horror short film, the whole thing was so well executed and the acting was so on point too! I loved it a lot, it made me so scared and uncomfortable through out the entire time, y'all deserve way more recognition!

I thought the development of Dylan was really well executed. As he started off nice and kinda cute it sensed you into a false state of comfort, as he got more and more strange and awkward, it got very more uncomfortable from a viewing stand point. Nice job!
This is so much better than Glass Cabin. Dylan was the perfect antagonist for this Film.

Omg!!! this was one of the best, if not the best horror short film I’ve ever seen!! the acting was great, story was great and super creepy!! I loved it so much! great job at making something actually scary and unnerving without overdoing it! I loved the twist ending too!!

Predicted all of that from the start, but the reason y'all's content is so awesome is that regardless of predictability or how creative the plot, it's always of great quality and super entertaining.
I forgot that I had seen this before, but I really enjoyed it. It gave me the creeps and that was one freaky dude. After he was talking for about five minutes, I knew there was something definitely off about him, and I was thinking to myself that he probably wasn't even Dylan. Then I had very bad vibes like "where the hell is her bf and why is his phone turned off, that's awfully convenient for so called "Dylan". When she saw that he bought all that food and clearly wasn't a chef, I was like "girl you better call the cops and tell them that there's a very strange man in your home." Hey, it's better to be safe than sorry, and sure enough the end of the story comes. The whole plot of this film was well thought out and articulately executed. It was genius, and the actors were sensational at carrying out their roles in the most profound way. This was a good one! 👍👏🎬

Who has not seen a picture of their partners bestie? You know I could actually see this happening to my husband because he can never remember my friends names or faces. . .excellent short film and acting, my eyes were glued to the screen for the duration.
"Dylan" would of got fd up if I walked into my bedroom and found my man laying there, all hell would of broke loose, but to tbh, I would of left when she stepped out to go smoke, cause that dude was off from the jump, kept making references as if we were dating, that was the red flag, dude is off, I am out of here....lol
I'm glad I remember faces really well 😂😂... If only she paid a lot more attention she would have survived that whole occasion! And Dylan should have showed her a pic of his friend who she never met...
Very good and realistic. I was thinking leave and call the cops too, but realistically none of us would do that because we wouldn't think an awkward " creepy" meeting was anything more than that. Ofcourse, seeing pics of sleepover guest would help.

This was a great film with a very sneaky twist at the end too!! If I was trapped in my house with a dangerous stranger, then I would do every single thing that I could to protect myself.

I write and publish my own fictional stuff (mostly shorts too) and sometimes that spoils these (rather great) stories for me, cause i already used most of the clichets myself and usually see it all coming a mile away. It's obvious that the dude wasn't THE expected Dylan and also obvious that things wouldn't end up well for her… But still, man, it was all so well done! Congrats!
Always trust your gut instints. Good film, great acting. Gave you the somethings not right the moment she walked in the door. Loved it.
At 11:13 it would've been a nice touch if the room to the right of the entry door was the room where the murders took place and you could see something happening in there as the camera panned away and dylan walked away. Overall this is one of the more interesting short horrors I've seen that didn't have cheesy monsters or jump scares.
