Yaaaassss Funky! You got it! You’re understanding how some women feel. My aunt was trans and I wish she was alive to see how much has changed for the LGBTQ. Having her in my life from day 1 allowed me to have a deeper understanding of the trans community. I see both sides. However like you, I have my own shyt to worry about so this is not apart of my conversations. Plus I’m from NYC, trans people are everywhere, at the job, restaurants, grocery stores, the bus, the trains, the gas station, schools etc… Most people don’t care about what the next stranger got going on. I agree with both of y’all but the caveat I’ll throw in is don’t give to just any church. I love and support my church so I pay my tithes to keep the building going and I give to all of the ministries such as the homeless, food pantry, the preschool in the building and overseas ministries etc. We get updates regularly, and the church is very forthcoming about where the money is going and how we are doing. We had a budget meeting right after service last week. All that to say- not all churches are playing with the money and ppl should use their discretion and discernment before giving. If you don’t feel comfortable giving to a church that you attend- then you should probably leave.
