I appreciate you putting this series together. I have been a Cubase Pro user since 1998. I am now working on a M1 MacBook Pro 14" and am looking at switching. Maybe I will or maybe I won't. It is clear after watching two of your videos that, with your help, I can figure out Logic Pro. The only reason that I have to switch is that Logic Pro is designed for the Mac and that has been my platform of choice since 2008. Thanks for all of your help and it looks like you decided to go with the Platform Desk.
Whelp, after 20+ years on PCs with Cakewalk/Sonar, ProTools, and Reaper I just purchased my first Mac (two actually - one for my college kiddo too). Mac Studio M2 with Logic. I used your videos to understand what I was getting into before buying. They made me think the major functions are pretty similar. Will be putting on a pot of coffee and going through this playlist when the new Mac gets here. Just wanted to say thank you for the help your channel has already provided and thanks in advance for the help I know is to come!! Cheers!
To echo some of the other comments - thanks for taking the time to go through this. I feel like I've managed to get by with the features I know, but I'm sure there's lots of stuff I skipped over or could be doing more efficiently. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
I still remember the day I bought Logic Pro X after a long time weighing up different DAWs. I almost came down on the side of Reason which I'd been using for several years. I still shudder to think I was so close to going that way. Logic Pro is one of the very few things in my life that I have never ever had a single moment of regret or second thoughts. I love it and it just lets me get all my ideas out into the world! I have even ditcthed my Waves plugins and, except for a select few free or very cheap plugins, I go completely native all the way. Highly recommended.

Brilliant series with your infectious enthusiasm! Thank you so much for doing these. There's a hugely steep learning curve to get off the ground learning Logic Pro and this has helped me immeasurably.

Looks like you got yourself a Mac Studio & new monitor setup. Sweet. I got the Mac Studio in April. It’s great. Although I have noticed some problems with quite a few plug-in companies which have not yet become compatible with Ventura. I’ve been experiencing Logic crashes due to this.

I know what I want to do and know all the theory. using Logic pro with all the instruments is a mind .... f 👀 I've bought a Nektar panorama p4 midi keyboard which I understand just works with Logic. Now i'm watching your vids like a demon.
Is anyone going through a problem buying Logic Pro from the App store? I’m from Indonesia and everytime I try to buy it says “purchase not available, this item is being modified”. I tried buying other apps and it worked perfectly fine. Can anyone help me? My mac is running with Monterey Macos 12.6.
