One of the few ps1 games without laughable draw distance. A technical marvel in design and detail on a limited system that went under appreciated. Even the tracks feel lived in and detailed without traffic.

The firt time I got to this tier of cars, i bought the Ferrari as well. 1st track was with snow. I sold that sht right away and bought the Porshe 911 Turbo, and never changed my mind again. =P

I swear Nemesis got some kind of rubber banding at the start of each race, i was in second and able to get closs to him but then he pull away so quickly
I replayed this game. Man it is though: the opponents do not wait for the player and there are no nitros like in modern racing games. Moreover there is a fixed amount of vehicles and due to the purchase process, every cent and therefore every care feels precious. This game is the total opposite of need for speed Most Wanted 2.
This game was great with no download updates everytime you wanted to play it and then couldn't because the updates took forever and you just gave up and sold everything off because new games suck and thats why games like this are still fun to go back to for "instant results", which is what we are after in 2024. Plug and play and actually play, ENOUGH EFFIN UPDATES EVERY FREEKIN TIME YOU WANNA JUST PLAY A GAME ALREADY.
That category did not forgive you for a mistake, you crashed or took the curves at a slower speed than adequate and the cpu would pass you right away, personally I liked to play with the 911, the easiest to handle, the F50 was quite the tail , and the devil was more balanced in terms of performance, although with a 5th long box.
@@BlueflagAlpha In the computer version, when you play the champion level, the computer runs with the bonus Porsche 911 and if you brake or crash, it immediately happens to you, when I played with my cousin in tournament mode and 2 players, I came out last, and during the race I was waiting for the first one to pass, and for the other opponents to hit me, especially the 911 so I could get a little advantage...

There is much much to improve...
This game was great with no download updates everytime you wanted to play it and then couldn't because the updates took forever and you just gave up and sold everything off because new games suck and thats why games like this are still fun to go back to for "instant results", which is what we are after in 2024.
Plug and play and actually play, ENOUGH EFFIN UPDATES EVERY FREEKIN TIME YOU WANNA JUST PLAY A GAME ALREADY.

That category did not forgive you for a mistake, you crashed or took the curves at a slower speed than adequate and the cpu would pass you right away, personally I liked to play with the 911, the easiest to handle, the F50 was quite the tail , and the devil was more balanced in terms of performance, although with a 5th long box.

@@BlueflagAlpha In the computer version, when you play the champion level, the computer runs with the bonus Porsche 911 and if you brake or crash, it immediately happens to you, when I played with my cousin in tournament mode and 2 players, I came out last, and during the race I was waiting for the first one to pass, and for the other opponents to hit me, especially the 911 so I could get a little advantage...
