spyder brand should start making more safety gears, jackets, gloves, for motorcycle users. Good brand.
Napanood ko to kanina haha eh yung helmet ko full face pero sub standard HNJ brand halagang 700 pesos lang eh sakto sahod ko kahapon kaya bumili ako ngayon ng spyder vector for only 2995 pesos sa sm east ortigas. sulit naman ang linaw ng vision ko kahit gabi parang walang visor pero meron talaga haha ang linaw men wala nang hubaran to ang sipag ko tuloy mag helmet ngayon haha 😆. Ang ganda ng quality ng spyder guys.

Had an accident...my spyder grid helmet save my head from a serious head injury even though i had a fractured knee...but still spyder proved that it is dependable...
I slipped on asphalt awhile ago in tagaytay, I fell head first, shoulder then knee. I am wearing Spyder helmet, I thought at first the helmet is not that quality, but when I checked the helmet only got minimal scratches from the initial fall which is serious because when I fell I heard a loud crash. Thankfully I didn't receive any injury. And thanks to the helmet I didn't receive any serious injury.
I got spyder helmet before... It saved me from sleeping while driving.. I bump my head first on the cement at 40-50 kph.. In fact my spine hole was near to close but my head was very protected .. This helmet is my angel.. I remember the moment i bumped, i want to sleep because of the impact, i really feel the foam of my helmet protecting my whole head and i was really lucky to have it on that accident.. 3 months later i play basketball and i was the same as before,..

Come to think of it, like a car, a helmet should allow crumple zone too to absorb impact and protect anything below it.
High end eps liner more softer because it can absorb impact better

high priced = Hindi nga nayupi pero nabasag ng 1 inch.
standard = Nayupi pero hndi nabasag.
take note, ang high priced ay standard din yan, yun nga lang sa materials at quality ng bawat company sila nagkakatalo at sa "name" mismo kaya mataas ang presyo ng high priced Pero Still the same standard unlike substandard.

The high end helmet in this clip is a low end in most Western countries any helmet under 200 usd is pretty average the red one you fu ked up is just a icecream bucket. When you get to the Arai Soumy and Shark . That's high end sure you have to get your wallet out. I have 3 Arai best on the planet how much is you head worth????

Those you mentioned are on a league of their own and those tested on the video are most of people can afford. With the weight and force of that sledge hammer, pretty impressive that the standard stands its own against the pricey one.
most bikes here in PH costs around 100k php (2000$) , there's no point getting a helmet that costs a 1/4 the price of the bike *practical

Napagod na si sledgehammer sa last helmet kaya humina na yata yung palo at nawala na sa sentro hahaha. Sana Spyder na lang ang hinuli pero kudos to the honest production of this video para mai-showcase ang quality ng Spyder helmet brand. I own quite a few Spyder helmets and I am enjoying their quality. Among the other similarly priced brands, and I say this without any compromises in my reputation, pinaka-long lasting ang Spyder... chin cover. Super tibay talaga at hindi natatanggal after so many normal use case pulls, di tulad ng Z_ _ _ at ng L_ _ _. As a disclaimer, I was a Spyder brand endorser before, back when Mark Chuidian was handling the marketing for Spyder Philippines.

Kidding aside, spyder helmets sobrang tibay, ganda ng designs, cheap price and world class safety quality. And yung visor kahit tinted its not so dark kahit na pwede mong gamitin at night. Although that's not advisable. Spyder user since nagkamotor, and sobrang confident ako sa helmet ko. Pero mejo luma na, baka naman spyder hehe
Quality talaga. 5 yrs na yung Recon 1 ko, had 2 major accidents buti still buong buo pa yung shell. Ok na ok parin ang paddings. Pinalitan ko nalang muna ng lens, wala pang budget for new spyder helmet. hehe.

There were about four motorcycle/scooter fatal accidents in my town in one month alone. All their heads got busted open. Had they worn even a substandard helmet or a coconut husk over their heards might have even saved their lives. Just my 2 cents.
My spyder full face helmet saved my life. Real talk. It cracked on the forehead portion and the visor flew off but didn't shatter. It could have been my forehead that got smashed if i hadn't worn my helm. Wisest decision ever.

There many people with expensive motorcycles but their helmet is substandard, Especially they use substandard skateboard helmet. 200php
@Therealdale I guess its their life, I mean we cannot blame them for wearing cheap helmet. It is their responsibility to take care of their own lives. Nowadays, many cheap helmets arise in the market with reasonable price but it is substandard, we only live once and we should invest for our health because their is no spare parts in human body parts. I rather buy an expensive helmet with mediacore motorcycle rather than having expensive motorcycle with ultra low substandard helmet like for skateboard and for bike. Just a piece of advice better to invest for health rather than upgrades for your motorcycle because even though you are riding safely but those 4 wheels will crash on you it matters, because those with cars they discriminate those who are riding motorcycles, we cannot blame them,because some other motorcycle riders are hard headed with no discipline. I prefer for a good helmet first rather than upgrading my motorcycle for a useless bling bling..

I'm using sec helmet. Had an accident last year and it saved my life as well. Yes, mura din mag benta ang sec pero hindi sila substandard. Hoping makakita din ako ng helmet crushing tulad neto gamit ang sec helmet.
Yeah meron narin ako nakitang post nagasgas lang yung Sec Full face helmet nya, nasave sya. That’s why i choose to buy Sec helmet too. Dahil matibay nga.
im also a sec helmet user, i also did a lot of reviews and research about ather helmet and found a lot of satisfied sec helmet user and some had stories how sec helmet save their life. thats why i decided to get one, affordable and the quality is very good.

crashed on my half face spyder helmet, grazed my chin lang pero di talaga nag crack yung lens ng titan, in fairness. buying a full face na , torn between evo (because ang porma nya. lol!) and spyder. still looking for crash test sa evo. leaning towards spyder ulit. heheh.
