Canada struggled scoring & playing their typical style of attack for the last 2 games 'cause they played outside in scorching heat/temps. The next game will be played indoors with cooler temperatures. In their element.

I miss the days when Venezuela were the eternal underdogs, and getting a positive result was a surprise. Now we (gasp) are actually slight favorites to make it to the Copa America semifinals. I really hope the players don't let the recent successes get to their head and treat Canada like if they were playing England, France or a combination of both.

We've definitely got a chance, but it's going to be really hard without Tajon on the right. ideally Marsch starts Millar and Laryea on the wings, and brings Shaff on off the bench.
Other big sticking point is the main striker, IMO Tani would be far better there than Larin.
In terms of talent Canada is far better than Venezuela, but they still have a lot of development to do in terms of scoring and offense. This may be a tournament too soon for Jesse Marsch
Man we don't. We have young players with dual citizenship or good agents that got them in Europe easier than the Venezuelans. But their players besides Davies and David are for sure better

@@DiegoPeruzza Mexico is not above Croatia. Mexico is currently ranked 15, Croatia is 9. Yes, it seems a bit silly to have them above Germany (16) - given how both countries have played in their respective tournaments - but it’s hard to compare apples to oranges.

Canada has a better chance than Venezuela, Ecuador had one player less the entire game and then they got lucky with a poor Mexican who dominated them the entire game
its hard to judge if Canada was actually good when two of three of their games were played 11 vs 10.

@@whatisthisnewfeaturehandle Didn't they have a disallowed goal against Chile? Could have ended up 1 nil and Canada get more points. But they made it there, 2 teams from North/Central America and 6 teams from South America.
