- Today, Alex and Austin take some surface vehicles to Edgewater Airpark, the new home of Flite Test! Turns out, it is a great place for some FPV crawler adventures!

LOVED it!! NEXT, you need the audio set up so you can actually talk to people and hear their responses AND waterproof 4X4's so you can skip the bridges and find a place shallow enough to tough it across the creek. THAT would be EPIC!!!!
I think this looks like tons of fun. Keep the expeditions coming. A few ideas.... maybe little, thought out(best reception, fun routes or obstacles) mini highways through out the property so you can visit people flying, crews filming and drop off refreshments or presents or fresh batteries or parts they need for a repair or whatever fun thing you can think of....maybe some turkey dinner? Maybe part of the FPV mini highway system even be developed with RC construction vehicles. Also upkeep like snowplowed....clear obstructions(fallen branches)....fill in holes..... fun little challenges for an episode. Maybe figure ways to do chores around the property but with FPV and RC. Lastly, some sort of recovery vehicle to respond to tipped trucks, maybe with some sort of robotic arm or crane?
Awesome guys! I really enjoyed watching the screen sharing parts, with all of Austin's hesitancy and Alex's prodding.
More of these ground adventures at that air park. Destinations, routes, cross country racing, hide and seek. Purpose built rigs for exploration...👍
Great stuff. I'm getting back into ground RC thanks to you guys. I bought a Everest Gen7 Pro and bought my wife a Barrage Doomsday. She was afraid of aerial RC but loves the ground RC stuff so this has given us a shared hobby. Keep the videos coming and thanks again.

This is probably you’re most entertaining video yet 😂 I loved just seeing you guys hang out and get on each other’s nerves a bit 👌🏼
So imagine this: you install 8 FPV receivers in each of a number of lampposts all around the air park, running an 8 core coax cable in a buried conduit back to the building with 8 video feeds. You put up antennas on the roof for long range control transmission. Then you can fly FPV anywhere in the park without loss of control or video, and you can do it from inside the building for those cold Ohio winters. You could even use a big TV instead of a headset.
If you did that, you could have the world's longest pro drone racing track. All the others loop back etc because of the video range limitations. Spectating would be less like motorcross and more like a rally stage.

Gents! If your truck rolls on its side try turning into the ground and adding power. Sometimes you need to feather the throttle to rock the truck but the majority of the time you can get it righted again.

I highly recommend you try a tank. Something like a Panzer III or a Sherman tank will be somewhat slower than the trucks, but will provide a much smoother ride.

Joy stick on the back of the regular rc car transmitter. Use your thumb on the back to move dimensionally.

And let me tell you something... I put FPV on a rc car and then on a micro brushed quad. (ALL my build videos are in this channel, my FPV videos are in another one). And... It's weird! My memory of when I did FPV are... I don't know. Different. It's like remembering of a dream! Do that happens to anyone else? Because it's bizarre!

Killer man. i would love to see you guys do a series with the maverick short course trucks aka "budget" hpi, I liked . Maybe find how far you can upgrade them, what bodies fit, what motors are the best, ect. Maybe even go from brushed to brushless. Something that can grow with you and your skill. That would be a great long term series.
And please make more crawler adventures!

lil tip, instead of hacking a hole in the roof you could have added a sun roof and saved the shell :)

I'm going to get fpv setup for one of my trx4.
What setup do you recomend? i guess in a car compare to a drone you dont need to consider weight the same and you can protect more expensive setup inside the body. Is it still best to buy a fpv racedrone setup?
I'd like to see another FPV set up. But this time actually going over basic set up procedures cause I would love to do this but have no idea where to start, except some of the parts to buy.

You should do a Fast and Furious 7 plane drop with a giant guinea pig and with 1 or 2 1/16 slashes or something similar. complete with parachutes and all.

Do an expedition and use a laser range finder to measure just how far your signal can take you. I think that could be pretty cool.

Nothing wrong with the Gen 7, it does the same exact thing that the big money trucks do, and that is crawl and go over things. For half the price
