- While some have experienced many different shapes and sizes over a span of time and others only familiar with one adequate version, it’s not often most of us are put in the scenario of both seeing and experience every available option to determine for ourselves which is truly the best fit for our taste and preference. Now, anyone who has tuned in to a mukbang or food challenge of ours have seen us answer many questions from which fast food establishment is offering the best dessert to whether or not we are capable of eating every cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory or if crushing 30,000 calories in just 30 minutes is a feasible feat for us, but this week we decided to answer the age-old question, “does size matter”. Fear not, food lovers - we stayed true to ourselves and the content we are passionate about making as a part of our cheat day shenanigans, just a bit out of the box.

FAQ’s:
Q: How do you not gain weight?
Well, we currently are but here’s a quick answer as to how we managed to do weekly food challenges for a year and a half without gaining much it:
A: Endurance sports (primarily running, cycling and some resistance training tossed in) and extreme discipline & sacrifice with our daily diets is how we manage not to gain weight. We eat mostly vegetables, fruits, some whole grains and low fat dairy on the days outside these challenges. The calories consumed in a food challenge are the only calories consumed that day and sometimes the day following as well seeing our appetites are typically shot from so much food and the thought of eating is very off putting. Two days out we are back to large amounts of vegetables and increase to maintenance from there. We also often eat most of our days calories in a smaller eating window (we frequently bounce between intermittent fasting & OMAD diet as it just seems to work with our lifestyles and eating preferences). Anyone with a larger than normal stomach capacity like us, the drive to push through the discomfort of a challenge like this, and a basic understanding of energy balance (calories in vs calories out) can do it with enough disciple and intention (not that we recommend it).
Also worth mentioning is that we do not exercise to burn the calories consumed in a challenge but rather we are able to consume higher calorie diets due to our love for endurance sports and said discipline with our daily diets.
Q: Can you make a “What I eat in a day” / fitness focused video?
A: While we’re sure that type of video will eventually make its way out there, we are only able to produce one piece of quality content with our current schedules. We’re still in the very early stages of establishing ourselves within the food challenge genre and we’re constantly experimenting & trying to improve upon our style to make our channel/challenges a unique experience. This channel in particular will most likely always primarily revolve around food challenges but, if this ever became a legitimate source of income and we were able to focus our full attention towards creating content, our goal would be to start a second channel to offer more of a look into that side of our lives. So, for now, food challenges are the name of the game.

This was really good fun. I’d love to try some Eggo’s and those Most Stuf Oreo’s. I agree that “thin” anything is just “the worst”! In the U.K. we have those big Kit Kats - they are called “Chunky Kit Kats” though and are just 1 bar. We have orange ones that are absolutely amazing!!! Much love. 😍

Absolutely love those 😁 we’re not so crazy about the big Reese’s white creme elephants they do for the holidays though. You've a point, everyone is different. For me, I always choose medium size, the enjoyment is better than with the small version but if is too big, the last bites is kinda pushing lol😆

I have not been back in America for 21 years and the amount of choices in items is unbelievable. I remember Kit-Kat only came in original size and they only had the mini's for Halloween. That was it. Thanks for sharing. This was very interesting. Oh have you ever had the original kiss called Baci Perugina. Luisa Spagnoli created them in 1922 in Italy. These are the best kisses ever. We don’t plan on doing those types of videos. The explanation as to why and how we manage weight is in the description box.
The diets are literally different every single day and every week is structured differently as well. If we did one we’d literally have to update it every week which we’d never do lol. We just eat mostly healthy and at a caloric maintenance over the course of the entire week when trying to maintain weight and in a caloric surplus when trying to gain weight (current goal). No macro counting, no specific diet structure or plan, we just don’t eat meat as we haven’t in nearly a decade now.
Additionally, we don’t do challenges anymore and can eat like normal people on the day to day rather than having to be really low cal for a few days because of eating so ridiculously as we were when doing the challenges. Now it’s just a reasonably high calorie cheat day once a week and stripping off a few hundred cals from what would otherwise be our daily calories if we didn’t have a cheat day.
