Finally popped my cherry!! RAF F-35b Low Level in the Mach Loop USAF F-35a F-15 Strike Eagle

- At last my first F-35b lightning II low flying in the mountains of Wales along with USAF F-35a F-15 Strike Eagle Panthers Texans from RAF Valley along with a Hawk T2 Filmed with a Sony AX 53 and the photos taken with a Nikon Z8 300mm prime lens.

About three years ago me and two others were standing in the back yard and out of nowhere a F35 buzzed us. Like 100 yards above the roof top. We stood there shocked and one of the guys said . That was a once in a life time experience . Yes it was! Most exciting moment of my life

I know that the RAF operates the b and USAF operates the a version out of Lakenheath
No I ment do you look for a spicific feature between a and b.
At 2:17, just behind the cockpit, the lettering says “”Danger Fan Intake Danger” where the lifting fan is to differentiate the B model

The F-35 are surprsingly quite compared to the always impressive F-15, I had heard that they were noisy buggers.
When they open out their bloody noisy 😅
YOU MIGHT THINK "what a bunch of idiots" for flying $gazillion aircraft in hazardous place like this, but you have to remember that if you may have to fly these things in combat like this, then you need to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. Just like I used to watch B-52s and B-ones fly low level practice in eastern Colorado.
Absolutely. Low level flying is a perishable skill, and our pilots need to hone it regularly, which is great for us groundlings. I remember the Cold War era when the U K midlands were a constant source for low level jets with tornadoes, jaguars,harriers and loads of a10s every time you took a country dog walk.
Someone send this to Putin and his fanboys to help them get a little more grounded in reality.
