Oh man, I'm so glad I found this channel and It pains me how few subs you have compared to the quality content your making! I really hope this channel skyrockets because it is f***ing awesome, your speech is eloquent and engaging, I could be here an hour writing, this is truly a hidden gem I got lucky to find. Ive got to say, leveling up in Arelith feels so good compared to other games I've played, it feels like your making productive progress.

@@MarleMMO Well I've only known about Arelith for a few days so I'm still pretty low level, im currently sitting at level 8.
Wow this was pretty cool! I remember my time online with NWN1. I played an RP server called Avlis. Ever heard of it? We had really long story arcs created and ran by local DMs there. Everyone RPed the whole time, and they were good at it! Man it was pretty amazing. There were times when I'd be in game for like 5 hours and not gain a single xp or get a single item. We would just be talking in character, hanging out, and talking about guild business or the latest story arc(s). Was so cool. Never have I had that experience before, and never have I had it since.
Hey John! Thank you for the comment. Unfortunately, I don't believe I was graced to play Avlis yet your experience isn't too far afield from my time in Arelith. Oftentimes my 30 minute patrol turns into a 3 hour long rescue mission after stumbling upon a half dead adventurer. You never know what each session will turn into, and that's one reason why I love Arelith! :)
I played on Avlis long ago as well, it was my first server. Their underdark was incredible. Unfortunately they never switched to EE and have been losing players (there weren't that many when I played some 12 years ago either) Avlis.org is still around but it's very sparsely populated.

They're bringing it to EE! It's an update on their website, supposedly by july.

Thank you Ruslan! Yes, absolutely. You may have noticed that this character has started not following a deity and has a negative piety. That will change in a future episode during which we'll explore the topic. :)

Is it at all doable with 2 players? And also, is the writ/quest daily limit strict or is it not so bad?
Two player teams are excellent - the writ system in my experience is not restrictive although I do not grind/power level. 🥰

My pleasure. You respawn at the nearest town yet you suffer an XP penalty based on your level. It is punishing although it adds to the experience. 🥰

Death exp penalty that you can get back in 5minutes doesnt sound so punishing lol. but the game does look fun
It is enjoyable! The death penalty scales with your level, so the higher you are, the more punishing it is. Early on, it's quite manageable; later, it's quite a blow. Have you ever played a NWN1 persistent world? :)

I would like to run a healer on a second pc to heal my paladin during writs in dungeons. Is this legal in NWN or possible assuming there is a follow command? (Arelith Server)
You have to read the rules on Arelith’s website and discord. Probably not allowed unless you can RP it well and chat for both characters. I think there is a companion system in arelith so you should use that instead. Also there are lots of healing kits and some regeneration items, and if you are playing Paladin that also has self-healing. So such a complicated setup is unnecessary. Best to RP and join groups if you find yourself needing help!
As Future wrote, there may be rules related to your question; however, I've encountered people who presumably were running two accounts simultaneously and I didn't sense that it was problematic since they 'played' both and each contributed to the goal of the group. I personally have no issues with multiboxing (coming from classic EverQuest). Since the game is so affordable, you could buy another copy on another computer, run it on a VPN, and connect that way. :)
Multiboxing (playing more than one character in the same group at the same time) is not allowed, but you can play more than one character on the same account. Just can't be logged in twice!
