Decent video however I work on a rubber mat. He's my critique's
You need better lighting, difficult to see inside the shadows!!
Install the plunger spring detents before you put the thumb safety on!
Chk with a flashlight that everything is oriented correctly
Push the main spring housing up then check the function of the trigger before putting the slide on. 👍✌️

Thanks for making this video as the info is invaluable. I've shot 1911s for decades but have not gone beyond basic field stripping due to its complexity. I may try a complete tear down after watching this.

Great Video. I saved it in case I get confused the next time I strip mine apart again.

I own an airsoft 1911 from Matrix, and this *greatly* came in handy when I for some reason decided tonight was the night I’d slightly disassemble it. Then the sear spring came out and I spent a solid 30-40 mins trying to figure out how to properly reinsert it so the gun would function properly.
The internals aren’t identical, but they’re similar enough to where this video in one foul swoop, solved my entire issue

In the slide there is a small spring on mine I didn’t see you install! My firing pin won’t catch on the hole of the cover piece.

I took it apart because it had terrible trigger pull, like at least 12lbs. Thought I'd clean the inside and maybe find a burr on the trigger or something. Not really sure what or which part to look at for the problem. Anyone have any idea, I sure would appreciate it!

    Colt 1911 45
I disassembled now reassemble the problemis the magazine release button is frozen. I did not take the trigger completely out, or the magazine release everything Else was disassembled.
I cannot get the to release on the right of the frame. And I don't want to damage. The button is frozen. Does anybody have any tips?

    • @enricomandragona163

You have to depress the release button on the left side at the same time turn the screw very gently counter clockwise!! It's not a screw!! It's basically a button with a slot on it. Watch a video on it!! You probably ruined it

Not clear enough.. small black parts far away from camera help no one. Also with so many variations, may want to touch on those with different parts
